This is the only store I buy my tiny brushes, artist grade acrylics and large canvases from. It is convenient to many restaurants in the area and other stores. They also sell seasonal items as well, so this may be a good place to get your decorations for the seasons. I dont even have to bring my membership card (lost it years ago), but punch in my phone number to use my discount card. However you dont have to be a member to shop there. Just walk in, grab a cart and shop. There is also treats to buy near the checkout as well if you have a sweet tooth.

Good place for craft supplies galore. Know what you want before going or youll spend alot of time looking at everything! Prices are a bit high but good variety of everything youd want. Sign up to get coupons as well. Easy parking, friendly staff, masks worn.

The best place for fair-priced holiday decor. Lots of Halloween stuff! Scrapbook section is on point and probably the biggest paint selection in Winston-Salem. Tons of wood stuff to paint. Always clean and organized. I’ve shopped this store for decades and will continue to do so vs another store directly down the road who shall remain unnamed.

Nice crafts store! Came in search of a specific yarn the website said they had and was able to locate according to the websites store map. Great feature since it was obvious they were short-staffed as many places are. We were greeted when we entered. Did wait in line, but very quick service.

One of my favorite shops for all my craft items. This location had friendly employees and the store was very well maintained.

First time going in here was the other week and I loved the huge selection of literally everything to choose from...no problem with being lost in here for hours and hours on end looking at all the cool crafts and diy projects to do with my other half.

This Michaels was ok, however, it felt very empty of things that mattered or speciality items, and full of mundane things you can honestly find even at Walmart.

They are not as big as a well known hobby place. But if u dont like long walks they have a very good selection of popular items.I was not sure if the product I picked up would be the right one, so I asked the cashier . She too was not sure so she went and checked with a supervisor or manager and saved me a return trip. Great service. Store clean & well organized.

My daughter and I were shopping for her wedding, we found everything! Very clean and organized, staff very helpful. We left a bag didnt notice til we got home called and they put it on hold! Yes I strongly recommend this store.

Michael’s website is easy to navigate, full of photos and detailed descriptions are provided to enable accurate purchasing. Curbside pickup is excellent and efficient. I really like their many online free classes for watercolor. They are organized, clear and specific and very helpful.

Purchased items to decorate my office. A wonderful selection of items, good prices, and friendly staff. I will return!

Very nice location. Very well organized. Their staff are very polite and cordial. Their prices are very attractive.

Waited 30 minutes to buy 3 items. There were 15 people in line ahead of me (and a lot more behind) and one sweet elderly cashier ALONE! There were probably 7ish employees in the store - 2 were chatting in front of the registers, one literally organizing the flowers, and the others kept walking by (seeing the line of customers) and deciding to do nothing. Otherwise, its a decent store, just go when you have PLENTY of time or else you will just leave with nothing.

Is there even a way to have a bad experience at a craft store. Well, we had a great experience. We ordered curbside pickup and it was safe, courteous, and fast.

I was highly disappointed in the staff and how it was handled and how I was treated being a called in order for pickup to avoid holiday traffic people and also the pandemic but in turn it took 3 hours to get small little items that I could have obviously walked right in the store bought the line and got in and out quicker than it did calling it in 3 hours later for a five little item list so when I called to complain about the service because I was pushed off and told they were pulling it off the shelf hours and hours of something so simple that was then handed to me after an hour and a half wait for the latter part of the day the second time that I finally got my stuff only to realize when I got home when my wife was getting out of the bag that it was still wrong items ornaments that she had ordered so when I placed the call to customer service they forwarded it to management management called within 30 minutes which I was grateful for but management was not as I explained to the lady the stuff was for my wifes class of which she peaches of which right now during the pandemic is a very stressful time much less trying to give a kid to Christmas present because they are in school so without the right ornaments they were unable to complete a Christmas gift for their parents I tried to explain this to the management and management just sort of said sorry and that was it Michaels is a good store and not to down the staff I know they were busy cuz something so simple meant something so much to the children too that its also facing this pandemic it all will work out

I am in LOVE with Michaels. I do lots of different kinds of crafts from scrapbooking & journaling to sewing. I always find everything I need & more especially if I find a clearance section or two 😁.

The staff are always helpful and friendly. The store is clean and well organized. Some things are a bit overpriced but the quality isgood.

They were a little low on stock in some of the areas but others they had just about all you need in other things. The sales person was very helpful when ask about certain item we were looking for. She even looked on line to help us assist in finding it. So distance was very easy here.

They seem to have the products that help me to create my ideas.

I always love Michaels. Staff is always helpful and store is clean. They are definitely my go to for craft supply and decor. Just make sure you stay on top of coupons because staff doesnt remind you.

Worst time ever in a store an to top it off was the wrong stuff in the bag I ordered online to get it I stead of waiting in line with the before Christmas people crowd an man I had to o wait 3 hours an only to get the wrong stuff that placed in in a 5 item order an it was all small an simple order . I was pushed around an walked off on by staff hat only kept saying to me it being pulled off shelf an that took 3 hours to do. Dreamland for people with too many hobbies and not enough time. Wish they carried hair bleach & dye, then itd be a manic episodes wet dream. Love it.

Had everything needed and more. My daughter and I went 3 times in a span of 1 1/2 weeks and each time there were only 3 people working (a greeter, a mgr and a cashier) and they were extremely busy. They were very professional and apologized for delays in checking out, but this hurtful. Ive managed in retail before and its not good for morale or business.

I spent $10 on the delivery fee my items were returned to the store & noone ever notified me. I actually had to call the customer service line to see what happened to my order. Customer service refunded everything and the next day the manager Erica called me. She explained the entire situation & what happened to the delivery as far as where it went. She was super awesome about everything even offered me a coupon which was great!

The cardstock is thicker😉 and vinyl was a good price.

This place is a crafters paradise. You have to go up every isle or youll miss something. Most items are high quality which requires a higher price but there is also affordable options. I went for Cricut heat transfer vinyl and there where plenty of options for that also.

I could spend hours at a time in this store. I just love looking at all the crafts and getting ideas for my next projects. They have amazing inspirations and options for every kind of creative project and theyre pretty reasonably priced, too. The employees are pretty helpful and knowledgeable. I wish it wasnt beside Target, as parking can be a nightmare, but thats my only complaint.

Michaels is ok. Some of there prices in store are more expensive then online but if you purchase something from them right now there is a 20% off coupon on their main website that works in store and online. As far as hobby ideas, I think the Lobby has them beat.

I was surprised that this location had so shelves bare. I realize the change over from one season to the next takes time, still so many others accomplish that in a timely manner. As always though the customer service is always to notch.

I went here to have art framed for a Christmas present. The work was completed, but the art was slightly damaged. They offered to reframe another piece for free. It was excellent.Friendly service, good prices, large selection. Ill be back.

I was looking for craft paints, unfortunately everyone else must be as well. I found a couple of what I needed, but the shelves were very bare with signage apologizing for the lack of products due to increased demand. Service was great.

Great place to find little odd and ends!

Went in here Sunday night looking for a particular pen. I stopped a lady with long dark hair and glasses who seemed to be headed to a register. She kindly asked me the name of the pen and then searched for it on the app. She did all of this with a smile and a very sweet demeanor. After I finished shopping she also rang me up at the register and offered me a coupon that saved me some money. At the end of the interaction I asked her her name and she said “Taylor”. Taylor is just one of the many reasons why you all are my favorite craft store. Thank you Taylor for making this experience amazing! I will be back!

Michaels is for old school crafters, I enjoy being inspired by all they have to offer. Unfortunately they dont have a lot for making hard candy and lollipops.

Plenty of arts and crafts supplies, and also many more items (storage, candles, calendars, etc). Employees are very knowledgeable and friendly!

Went in for custom framing project. Pleasant and answered our questions. Some answers were vague. Did not provide any alternatives or input, even when asked.

This place has went down hill. Alot of empty shelves. No carts for customers to use. And my friend didnt have all her stuff she bought when she got home. To much talking instead of paying attention to putting stuff in the bag.
