I 100% recommend purchasing from Kevin Powell Motor Sports. I worked directly with Matt Leonard from the start of the process till the very end and he was AMAZING!!! I reached out looking for a Polaris Ranger 500 and he quickly got on it. The entire process from start to finish couldn’t have been made any more simple. In fact, I never even had to step foot in the store till Matt let me know it had arrived and I went to pick it up. When I arrived the entire staff I had any contact with was super friendly. I will definitely be a customer for years to come! I definitely recommend you checking them our for any of your motorsport needs.

Sales people were good, service people not so much, shouldn’t have to have more issues after dropping off bike. Was unable to determine problem (ended up being corrosion on a connection), and stripped several screws, don’t buy here unless you plan to just do the work yourself, or take to a more reputable service location.

Nobody seemed to pay attention when I asked a question. Ordered a part and pre paid, but never got a phone call saying it had arrived. I had to call them to check. Not very busy but nobody offered any help.

Redge and David were absolute professionals. Very responsive and helpful in selecting the right Polaris and accessories. The finished product exceeded expectations. I recommend them without hesitation and will certainly buy my next one from them.

Ordered some parts for my atv on tuesday. they said they will be here on thursday.. called thursday evening just for them to tell me that they have no knowledge of my parts.. went and ask the guy who ordered them and he doesnt remember.. waste of time.. had to cancele my whole trip to west virginia

I dealt with Brittany threw out my fast transaction, and she was great! I called about wanting a specific motorcycle, Suzuki TU250x, it wasnt advertised bit thought Id call around see if anyone had it in stock. They were the only one that had it, she gave me a cash out the door price and thats exactly what I paid. We got there 30 minutes before they closed that day and they had the bike and paperwork ready for me. Only took me 15 minutes, in the price they also give you tag and title. At one point I was considering buying a motorcycle in gear from them. Then of course I proceeded to do my research on pricing then I took my business elsewhere. Then I recently noticed one of their postings on a used motorcycle and I politely called them out about how overpriced it was and how they try to scam people then they proceeded to message me on Facebook calling me a “douche”. The bike was a 2016 Yamaha R6 50th anniversary edition with 5323 miles on it and had it priced at $11,487 which is OUTRAGEOUS. You can get a brand new 2020 R6 for $11,999. Whoever does the pricing and also handles the social media responses and postings should be evaluated and reprimanded.

Super easy and straightforward people to deal with. I found the Versys x300 I wanted on Cycletrader. called them up and spoke with Matt on the phone. He gave me a complete OTD price I was happy with. The next day I drove down handed them a check and loaded up my new bike! No BS the price on the phone was exactly what it was when I got there. Brittany had all of the paperwork ready to go. In and out of the dealership within an hour.

All I can say is WOW!!! These people were amazing !! My husband and I went to a couple places before this one and no one was helpful. Luckily we found this Gem the people were amazing so helpful and nice we are so excited about our new purchase!!! Customer service sucks really bad. You can never talk to anyone at the phone. They gonna transfer you and put you on hold forever. After the transfer it’s going straight to voicemail. Gotta call them several times and do the same thing over again. Much rather go to Greensboro location. This place sucks.

Walked in today and there’s a guy behind this big desk I could only see the top of his head. He didn’t acknowledge me walking in so I tried to look for my future purchase on my own but had no luck. There is a desk at the back of the store. There was a customer sitting there but no worker. 3 minutes later someone appears and asked has he been helped. I’m in complete shock because he was waiting since I walked in. I waited for them to finish and I asked the worker for the location of the item I was looking for. He pointed to the direction. I attempted to find the item but had no luck. I then left the store due to their horrible customer service. I then drove 36 minutes to a cycle gear in Greensboro where their workers helped me find exactly what I was looking for. Thanks for nothing Kevin Powell. You should remove your advertisements from the radio.

I purchased my car there last year. It was a 2017. Ive replaced the catalytic converter 2 times, the battery once and my check engine light is on again. They don’t sell reliable cars.

My salesman Matt was very helpful, he took time when I called, worked all the numbers over the phone for me. He even brought the bike I wanted in from one of their other dealerships for me.Gave them a deposit, they held the bike for 2 weeks for me until I could make the couple hour drive to pick the bike up.When I got there,everything was ready for me, no hidin charges or bs, just the deal we agreed on and the rate we agreed on. I’m a cash buyer. Was given an “out the door” price. Went to purchase the bike and they added a $299 DOC fee. Oooops, Failed to mention that. I told them I would pass and they said “what can we do to get your business”. I said “honor your price”. They said “NO”. I hate their radio ads and knew it was gonna be to good to be true. This place is sketchy all the way around. Go there and see what I’m talking!

Not impressed at all. Walked around the showroom for about 7 minutes before we were even greeted. Nothing had a price tag on it so when informing my price point I was told they had nothing in that price range. Really? Nothing in an $8,000 price range out of all the stores??

I would not recommend doing business with them. Terrible experience dealing with the sales department. No contact at all from them after I asked about a pre-owned unit. I finally called back and they said they had a customer interested in it. I am also interested in it? Not how you do business with people who want to spend thousands of dollars with you.

I had the best experience at KPMS in WS. I had both my Kawaski Mule and my Honda ATV break down in the same week. Redge Griffin the service manager came to the rescue. He quickly helped me out during a busy time and I was able to get my vehicles back on my farm in less than a week. I will be coming back in the future. Thank you!!!

If I could give 0 I would because if you give them permission to run your credit, instead of running once, they ran 4 hard inquiries! I now have 4 derogatory marks on my credit report because of this single dealer. if you’re looking to build credit, don’t go here, because your credit report is going to show that you went to four different places looking for credit when in reality only went to one. This practice was never disclosed to me and I was unaware of the multiple hard inquiries that they were going to do.

I have been a loyal customer here for many years, but after this visit I will not be coming back nor will I recommend people to do business here. The service manager lacks customer service and professionalism. Timmy is truly missed.

I swear, every time I have to deal with this place its like I am bothering them. Some of the worst basic customer service skills I have ever dealt with. I will definitely think twice before buying anything new from them again. There are other places that would appreciate my business.

Pathetic customer service in the service department. I will never bring anything to them again and I’ll discourage as many people from doing the same. Lies lies lies...and they lost my seat on the motorcycle, while working on my bike, and said I brought it up there without a seat. Lesson learned.

The customer service just over the phone is terrible. I called the parts department and it sounded as if I was an inconvenience to them. I told the guy on the line the part I needed a price on and was met with utter silence for over a minute. I was told the price and when I asked if they had the part in stock the answer was no. I then had to prompt for a time it would come in if it were ordered and was given a bland answer. Then I simply stated that I could get it cheaper online in the same amount of time and was told okay and hung up on. Everyone hates the radio adds for this place and they should hate the place itself. Take your business elsewhere and dont waste time being unappreciated.

When i spoke to Charlene I received amazing customer service. I told her my credit issues and she advised that this company accepts all credit and down payment was based on the vehicle of choice yet either way this company will work with you. I feel as if i was fed a lie. David called me at 11:30am regarding my application and said he would call back after submitting my application to the banks, i also advised him of my history and of course he says no problem we have companies who will work with you. David said hed call back after complete. Ive called back multiple times to no avail, i was told hed call me back that he was busy so i waited hours yet no response. I respect great customer service. I may not have qualified but its horrible representation for a business to feed something they can not deliver. Even if the company is not able to help at least have the respect to contact that customer with a response and make them feel the same as all other customers. Thats what good customer service is about! Clearly this company does not care about customer service its more about lying to get you in and a number, if youre number isnt what is acceptable to them then you get treated as such. Hopefully youll treat the next customer with the respect and decency all customers deserve.

Do not use their service department. They will tell you they are working on your machine but when you stop by they havent even started on it. If you call they will not answer. Kevin needs to spend money on employees instead of a radio commercial.

I recently purchased a number of accessories for my Polaris sportsman from this store. Unfortunately the incorrect winch was installed during the process. Redge, in the parts department, ordered the correct winch and had it installed as soon as possible. Mistakes happen and Redge was more than helpful getting it corrected and making sure both my wife and I were satisfied customers!

Cant give a zero rating, went tot look at and buy a used Harley for my son, found one and things started getting shady from there, first I asked if I could take a test drive and they said they don’t allow any test drives ( so you take a big chance on buying anything ) second: had my money in hand and kept being pressured: ie: got a buyer heading to the bank as we speak, have a man that has called in making arrangements for the bike and another on his way in from another state to pick up this bike, talked to the salesman and offered what my son was willing to pay as they say “ no offer refused “, well they won’t refuse it they will just add it to the list and wait for the highest offer to come in. NEEDLESS TO SAY..... I was blocked on FACEBOOK for commenting the truth and I also looked back in about a month later and the same bike was still there.... so NO I WOULD NOT BUY from this business.

Typically a car salesman will do anything to get you to purchase their product. Not this place! I called them multiple times trying to get answers from them. They constantly beat around the bush, and they didnt call me one time. Due to their lack of customer service, they just lost a customer! I will be sure to advocate against their motorsports business as they cannot actually talk to their customers and let them know whats going on!

Purchased a bike from Marc & Tommy this week. The process was amazingly fast & simple, and Tommy was incredibly helpful with picking out the accessories too! I had to have the bike delivered on a Saturday, they stayed in touch the whole time and made sure we got the bike when we wanted it, with everything we wanted on it, and there was ZERO hassle. Very knowledgeable staff who really went above and beyond. 10/10 would purchase again!

Approximately two weeks ago I needed some service work done on my motorcycle. Ive used other businesses prior, but this time I wanted to see if I could get someone closer to home. I needed two tires, an oil change, and an inspection. I went in and I spoke to the representative in the service department I believe his name was Brad Venters. He explained everything that I needed to know and suggested that I go to the parts department and speak with Jeff Howell. After speaking with Jeff and getting a quote on the price of tires I went back and spoke with Brad again and accepted the quote and left my bike in their hands. There was a delay in getting my motorcycle back due to one tire came in that was ordered correctly and the other tire that was ordered came in a white wall which was incorrect. Honestly Im not sure exactly if it was in fact their fault but they took 100% of the blame which was only a small inconvenience and I had to wait just a little bit longer for my bike. They were very apologetic, very pleasant and worked with me to get my bike back as soon as possible. As soon as they had the motorcycle ready they contacted me and I went and picked up the bike. As I was getting ready to load my bike on the trailer a guy in the parking lot said hey man thats a pretty nice bike, do you need some help loading it? I explained to him that Id loaded that bike a hundred times by myself and I was good but that I appreciated his offer. We stood there and spoke for probably 7 to 10 minutes and I told him that there was a motorcycle inside that I might be interested in. We continued this conversation for a few more minutes and as I was saying my goodbyes he held out his hand and introduced himself has Mark Wall and if Im not mistaken he was in the sales department. Extremely pleasant guy. theres also a gentleman by the name of David in sales that I had spoke to a year ago but did not buy at that time and he was very pleasant and spoke to me and remembered me. Overall my experience was absolutely fantastic, yes there was a small inconvenience but they made it right and I absolutely would use this business again for service and would suggest if anyone has any doubts come on up to Kevin Powell on University parkway, these guys are great. Also Ive got my eye on a newer but used bike on their showroom floor I may have to visit them again sooner than later!!

Took my zx12r down cause it locked up on me on highway . Took it down there and they fixed the problem at a reasonable time and price .

If your reading this your probably worried like I was. My local dealers were saying their is no way you can buy that for that price. They will either say they sold that one, or will add a lot of fees to raise the price. I was very concerned about making a 90 mile trip to only be mad and disappointed. One dealer even offered me money to bring him my Bill of Sale if I got it at that price.Well, I can assure you I have a brand new Polaris Sportsman in my basement and I am very happy. Mike the store manager is a man of his word. He honored the price exactly as advertised. Matt the finance man was wonderful to deal with, and Kyle showed me everything I needed to know about the machine before I left. He even loaded it for me.I have had no dealings with the service dept. but I highly recommend the sales staff.They do what they say they will do, and your well taken care of. I was in and out in less than an hour. Great job Mike, Matt, and Kyle!!!

Be ready for 311 dollars for diagnostic the problem in my Yamaha Raider and ask for 1300+ dollars to replace the fuel pump before tell me if there are any other problem with further expenses, and then give me the bike back with the battery in one of the saddle bags and its housing in hand, what a big mistake I did trusting this people, never again.

Just bought a new Boulevard. Love it! I contacted KPM in the summer, Jason was very communicative. I came back in September and they gave me a really good deal. I bought some extras and they were fast and installed great. I cant say enough about the team there. Everybody was willing to help even though I was an indecisive buyer.When Jason was unavailable, Tommy stepped in and got me squared away. I would recommend you go there for your next bike.Only thing is, Corporate will let you know they are there. Expect a few calls from them to make sure you are taken care of, Ill take a few calls instead of nobody reaching out. Thanks again guys!

We looked online at the inventory, which you have to enter your name, email, and phone number. There really wasnt anything we saw that was what we were looking for. My husband was contacted multiple times wanting to know when we were coming to look. He told her we were looking for a used side by side and she looked at the inventory and assured us that there were several on the Winston Salem lot to look at. He told her we would come on Saturday but they continued to bug him about coming before that. We did drive 54 minutes one way (50 miles) to see the used inventory. When we arrived there we were quickly approached and asked how we could be helped. We asked about the used inventory but were told they did NOT have any used inventory. Needless to say we were not very happy about being lied to. We were told we would be removed from the call list but he didnt ask for our phone number so it could be removed then he proceeded to try to sell us a new side by side atv. These guys may have good new inventory and good prices but they will lie to get you in the door. We will not be buying from them.

Dealt with Tommy in sales and he was top notch throughout the entire process. Even followed up with me to ensure I made it home safely (I drove 4 hours to buy from them). Highly recommend!

Went in on my birthday to buy a new or used bike..friendly service and was greeted upon entering. I had been searching for bikes for months and because of the constant commercials I hear about how Kevin Powell can get you in a faster newer car or motorcycle, I decided to go with them. With money in hand for a down payment I sat down with Tommy, he checked my credit and denied me right off the back..So I went to HONDA who approved me and went home in a brand new cbr300 with no money down!

I went up there on a Saturday to look at the Harley 883 and the fella I worked with was vary knowledgeable about the products and the inventory at all of the stores. I looked at a Harley 1200 at a different Kevin Powell and they stayed late to make sure I could get the 1200 for the weekend from the other store! Great customer service and while I was paying for the Harley one of the other sales reps walked my little guy around the store showing him all the bikes and quads and that made his day. This is the 2nd bike I have purchased from them and vary happy with the team at the Winston store!

I went to Kevin Powell Motorsport in Winston looking for a 2019 Kawasaki Ninja 650. This is the second motorcycle I have bought from them...when they didn’t have the color I wanted, they went above and beyond just selling me what was on the sales floor. They did not blow me off...Instead they ordered one from Kawasaki and had it shipped to the store. The sales staff David Prieto and the sales manager took good care of me....they will definitely get my business again when I buy another bike. Thanks guys!!

Never answer the phone when you call and when you do finally get someone on the phone, they have to physically walk over to the service department and tell em to answer the phone for you after they transfer the call. Then, the service guy said hed call me back with a ballpark figure on some service I needed done but never did. I wont do business with flaky people so screw these guys

This place is crazy. The sales managers are trying to sell Harley Davidson motorcycles at higher prices. Word of advice to anyone dealing with this power sports side. They will screw you on prices. You are a lot better off to either go to a reputable dealer than this scharade of a dealership. YOU WILL GET RIPPED OFF HERE.

After speaking with a sales rep over the phone about a motorcycle for sale at the dealer a friend and I came to look at the bike in person. The sales representative could not start the bike because it was too cold outside meanwhile my 1986 Honda Shadow 1100 with 50,000 miles will fire up no matter the temperature. We continued to look at bikes inside the dealer for about 15 minutes and returned to the bike we originally were interested in and was approached buy a large bald man with a cane who told us we cannot sit on the bikes without purchasing tickets that were $1 a piece. He then said either we buy the tickets or get the hell out. This is the second time Ive had terrible service at this location and I I will not return.

I called and indicated what I wanted. I was told Winston had what I wanted. I also mentioned I had submitted a credit app and upon review was told I met the criteria. So my dumb self drove there and only had scooters which I saw one I liked...$4500, i was told on phone call last of month best time to buy. I also asked if there was military discounts, I was told yes. Fast forward. I was told I was approved with a cosigner and wasnt sure if I needed a down payment..huh. I told them never had a cosigner and werent about to start. I have good credit, I asked ...nothing late and guaranteed income. Remember the $4500,l asked how much cash out the door.... just over $5000...what happen to my military and end of month discounts. I lost 5 points on my credit and added a inquiry for nothing.

I cant really speak for the front of house because I have only had dealings with the parts department. The woman in parts department is really nice and helpful (shes 5 out of 5 stars) However me being a woman asking for parts from the men is a different story. I get looked down on and charged double of what I order!

Don’t waste your time if your credit isn’t good, all of the advertisements about helping you get approved no matter your credit or if you have no money down, 1st thing the salesman asked me did I want to pay cash? My credit score isn’t very bad and they offered me $500 for my trade in and wanted $3500 cash, when he found out I wasn’t giving him a sale, he gave me his card and said “call me if you win the lottery”, what a professional salesman! The ads are misleading and I was treated like an annoyance when I said I wasn’t paying with cash. I wasted a entire afternoon, the guy sitting beside me drove 2 1/2 hours and was treated the same way.

After dealing with the Greensboro location for over a 2 month. Finally decided to go to the Winston-Salem location. The sales lady Shannon Martin was very helpful, answered all my questions and told her which bike I wanted. She worked her magic now I’m a proud owner of an 08 busa!!!! I highly recommend this location.

Awesome service. The manager, Mike Southern, helped me out tremendously. My credit was around 480 two years ago. I have bought 4 bikes and 2 cars from them in that time. My credit is now well over 600. No one else would even look at my credit application back then.

The radio commercials are as annoying as hell, but the shop is great! Very good and wide variety of bikes and bike parts to choose from, and the service is great also! Two thumbs up!

I dealt with Tommy was very helpful and knowledgeable about the ATV I was looking for. I bought a new 2017 Polaris sportsman 570. Great deal and easy to deal with. I’ll be going back.

Liked a used challenger they had. I spent a couple hours and gave the sales manager all the info required.. he said the deal would be a go then tried to get in touch with him for a week and a half. Left messages on his voice mail and with live people that work there and never got a call back... fast forward 5 months.. I went to a dodge dealership and bought a brand new challenger. With a lower score than I had when I went the crazy kevin... just a few points lower from where they had pulled it to not sell me a car.

Get it in writing, a verbal or advertised deal is not good enough.I arrived to purchase a bike at the advertised price and confirmed by two different salespeople by phone. The invoice was written overpriced by the sales manager. When questioned and showing sales manager the ad, he gave me the advertised price then added a fee that was not on the contract originally. Refused to sell to me unless I paid the fee. Shifty, manipulative.

Called and waited 5 minutes three times before I finally got a service guy on the phone. He was rude as hell and wanted to charge $30 to put a dirt bike tire on the rim. For that kind of money Ill buy my own tire changing station and wont need this place for anything ever again.

Brought a side by side, 2 months ago still haven’t got parts, service people just rude

Came here for a new bike after being quoted 11k. Husband walked out the door and they ended up charging him 14k, not the 11 I was quoted. They also tricked him into a “smart” plan that is a third party company who then also racked on an additional 1k, which I assume they profit from because my husband wanted to pay cash. We were told we’d have the plates in about a month and it took 3 months to get plates. The employees are very rude and aren’t helpful at all, but my husband wanted a particular bike in a particular color and it was the only place we could find on the east coast that sold the exact one he wanted. It ended up having an issue and they wouldn’t fix it even though they tricked my husband into buying a 1500 warranty plan. Because of said issue he ended up totaling the bike only 4 months after purchase and almost lost his life. Then dealing with the paperwork from the accident with them and Yamaha and the smart payment people, I found out they forged documents and my husband’s signature on additional documents and backdated them. These people are scam artists and take advantage of people like my husband whose first language isn’t English and are trusting of companies. I wouldn’t even recommend this place to an enemy.

Very pleased with service, knowledge and response, got me in the right bike we were looking for, David, Austin and the staff were very friendly, knew what there customers needs were!!
