Dropped off a rim for repair. Was told it would be ready same day. Owner never called. Called next day and was told it would be ready by 4. Went at 4 to pick up my rim and it was not repaired. Owner never called me. I tried to get in my car and leave and the owner blocked my way and started yelling in my face. I asked him to move and told him it was poor business practice to not even call a client and keep informed of progress.Do not take your property to this place. Unreliable, rude, poor business practices.

How much would you pay for an oil change? We live not too far from Spaugh Motors, and we needed an oil change on our SUV. We heard good things about Spaugh, so decided to take our car for an oil change there. Our charge? $80!!! This is DOUBLE the cost at our regular auto shop. When I asked about the high bill: Your car took 8 quarts of oil. I think this is highway robbery.

They came to tow me even though they were closed. They gave me a good price. And the driver gave me a free ride afterward.

I was in a serious car accident that totaled my car. “Spaugh motors” was called for the tow. While the tow guy was hooking the car with the tow truck, I saw the he was dragging my front bumper I asked him to wait a second so I could look at my novelty plate I had on the front. I had that plate for over 20 yrs the tow driver responded take the damn thing off yourself and threw the bumper down on the sidewalk. He was being a total jerk to me. He was so rude. I have never seen anyone react like that. It was childish and immature and very insensitive to the fact that I just could have been killed. I would not recommend them to anyone at all. On top of that he charged $250 for quarter of a mile tow. Ridiculous!

I was sent away from West Auto. Needed a tire plugged. Not only was Sam willing to help he was very friendly, and honest. Anything you may need done go there!

It took a while and cost a lot, but they fixed my car like new :)

I JUST HAD AN EXPERIENCE WITH A DRIVER OF THEIRS ON IRVING ST., WINSTON SALEM, NC. THE DRIVER WAS DOING BIG ITEM PICKUP ON SUNDAY MORNING JUNE 11. HE WAS BLOCKING THE STREET WITH THE TOW TRUCK. I WAS WAITING FOR A MOTORCYCLIST TO COME THRU AND THE DRIVER CAME OUT AND YELLED AT ME THAT I HAD PLENTLY OF ROOM! I BARELY GOT THRU. IF THIS IS THE TYPE OF DRIVERS THEY HIRE, I WILL NOT USE THEM.
