I have always respected the employees at any CVS. Even though the business model seems to have morphed into a copy of Walmarts motto “understaff and overwhelm the employees to save a buck,” the pharmacy and store clerks are ALWAYS very helpful and respectful (with some exceptions such as my experience at the Bozeman, MT location.)The understaffing seems to be the norm at every CVS I go to, so when I had the pharmacy staff member, Kevin, not only offer, but actually make calls to another CVS on my behalf, I was taken aback. I was in a new town and trying to accomplish a transfer and although his workload wS more than one person should have, he made things simple and quick.It can be rare to find such efficient staff and I was reminded of not too long ago when I would walk into a business and someone was willing to come see if I needed help rather than me searching for anyone with knowledge.

Called to see if they carried hearing aid batteries. The lady answered she thought so but I asked if she could check for sure and the price? She again seemed bothered I went in to buy some. I showed her what I had and asked if she thought it was a match? She said no but I got them anyway. I paid and at the end said thank you for your help, she said nothing. I didn’t get a thank you, a come back nothing! Really bad customer service especially in these times we’re living in. The batteries were the right ones by the way!

Very disappointed in the service I received tonight, or rather the lack there of. At 7:40pm this evening I went for a refill. A girl said she would be right with me, but ended up leaving. The pharmacist (older woman with gray short hair) said she would be with me soon. I waited about 10 minutes until she finally came to see about me. I told her my name and that I received a call saying my Rx was ready to be picked up. She couldnt find it and said it had been returned. I asked to wait in the store and have it filled but she said she wouldnt be able to because she had only 10 minutes left till closing. I wish I spoke up and said, that I had been waiting for at least 10 minutes already. I told her I had to take this medication on and empty stomach first thing in the morning. Her response, I guess youll have to pick it up in the morning. Ill take my money somewhere else next time.

Ive been going to this CVS since it was on Jonestown Road! All but 2 of the pharmacy personnel are new. They are young people just starting out and this is a HIGH VOLUME store!Dont blame the personnel, blame the management. Management knows the amount of volume (service) that this store has and when it has the highest amount of nee for /service. They should make sure enough staff is present to handle peak times.These young people are doing the best they can with what they have to work with. Patience is a virtue and understanding is too!Give what you want to receive...... remember what it was like for you as a young person starting out...... you want to see change? Talk to the management/write corporate. But, dont take it out on the personnel.... theyre just doing the best they can!I say THANK YOU CVS PERSONNEL for the wonderful job you have done, are doing and will do!

The best pharmacy ever and I dont believe that its true about the pharmacist stealing from a customer. Thats crazy! My pharmacists are hard workers and do theyre best. I love them all.

Slow. Told me that my prescription would be ready in 30 minutes. I wait in line for 15 minutes to be told it wasnt ready. Waited inside the store for another 15-20 minutes after being told in the drive thru that it would be expedited. An hour later, it was ready. It would have been better if they had said they would call me when the prescription was ready or that they would call me. I wasted time waiting around when I could have been taking care of other things.

This CVS has been relatively clean and well stocked on my visits. Wait times in line at the front counter are about average, nothing terrible, but nothing spectacular either. Thats the sort of thing that is often dependent on time of day but Ive always found there to be sometime at the counter working through customers, which is more than I can say for other places.

Honestly never been a fan. Its generally been far more difficult to get refills here than anywhere else. I have to jump through hoops to get some of my medications, and somehow they rarely ever seem to receive the faxes from my doctors that they almost always require (whereas at others I can simply call for 90% of the ones I need, and theyll be fine with it). They call incessantly to tell me I have prescriptions ready, but when I show up, they dont have any. More often than not, service is not very friendly or helpful. Two stars instead of one because it is open 24 hours, which can sometimes prove incredibly helpful/important for me, service is friendly every now and then, and they do occasionally do a decent job. But if you arent in need of a 24-hour place or if you have a lot of important medications, just go to Walgreens. TLDR: Youre less likely to run out of what you need if you go elsewhere.

Horrible, horrible, horrible. I got my prescription filled here for about two years and they screwed it up every. Single. Time. I get one every two weeks so I dont know how they accomplished screwing up that much. On top of that, they gave me the wrong pills! The pharmacist was STEALING my pills and putting Claritin in their place! Who knows how long it went on before I even found out. I switched to Marley drug and havent had one problem since. Everyone Ive ever spoken to hates this place so I dont know how theyve got such good reviews on here. I dont know about other CVSs but this one needs to either be shut down or have new pharmacists. Ill NEVER be back here, not even for something simple.

I have been to a lot of cvss and this one and the one in king are the BEST ones Ive have ever been to moved here from va 2yrs ago and Im so glad I have found 2 of the greasy cvs in winston wouldnt go anywhere else thanks to all of the great staff and pharmacy
