We stopped by to get a few baked goods and got a tomato cheese biscuit/scone and two donuts; a raspberry glazed with chocolate drizzle and an Earl Grey glazed. We also purchased a sugar cookie. The biscuit was AMAZING!! Perfectly baked with the best amount of herbs and salt with a bit of a peppery bite! The donuts were also excellent! Warm and delicious. The Earl Grey glaze was very delicately flavored with a bit of lemon. The sugar cookie was a bit crumbly. The frosting on the cookie was really good and not too sweet at all. Highly recommend this gem.The decor is very Southern Living and welcoming.☺

What a neat donut/coffee shop! There are plenty of indoor and outdoor seating options and seems like a perfect location for a first date! We tried an iced latte, iced mocha, orange glazed donut, and cookie monster donut sundae. All donuts are made to order, so you wont see them sitting in the case. They come out hot and fresh, prepared just for you. The ice cream for the sundaes is also house made. Everything was great, but the sundae will always be the standout in my mind!! It was an excellent treat, and Im so glad we got to experience it. Would absolutely go back if I were in the area!

These are the best old fashion donuts! The area is very nice with picnic tables and patio tables too. They make everything fresh to order, so delicious 🍩☕️ fun name too! Due to covid they are like a little to carful so they seem pushy and only let one party in at a time to order and you can’t sit inside so that’s a minor thing that I hope will change! A must go to for some needed coffee and donuts!

A clean and quaint establishment that’s the perfect spot for scones, iced coffee, and writing. Plenty of space for a writer to plug in their laptop and soak up the literary aesthetic. They went to the back and asked about allergens twice to ensure I would not have a reaction to their food.

Wow! This place is really amazing! The building in historic Reynolda Village is like stepping into a time capsule. The decor gently asks you to stay a while, sit in a cushy seat, and enjoy a break either alone or with friends. I ordered one of the best chai teas I have had in a while and a plant based blueberry muffin that blew me away. Now I understand what people have been saying....my friend had one of thier famous doughnuts which is what I will update with next time. She said it was lovely as well Please go and enjoy. The Dough-Joes Doughnuts & Coffee Experience (Walk-in Edition). So I first tried Joes Doughnuts when they were on a food truck before they relocated inside a physical location. I enjoyed the fresh smells coming off the food truck and the anticipation of getting a hot fresh doughnut. So I was pretty excited to see the ambiance of their shop. Once looking and walking all over Reynolda Village, I found their site. Upon entering, at first thought, I was in the wrong place even though I walked past their sign.The vibe of this spot made me feel as if I was walking into a tea or coffee house. A place where Wake Forest students would read or study before a big exam. I did not feel as if I were in a place where doughnuts come first. I say that because some of the first things I saw upon entering were muffins and a menu for various teas. After looking at the menu and seeing doughnuts, I ordered one Glaze and one Caramel doughnut. I sat inside and waited for my two doughnuts to come out.Once at my location and eating, I did enjoy the Caramel glazed doughnut. The glazed doughnut was ok and had a slightly overcooked taste. Would I go back to Dough-Joes Doughnuts & Coffee? I dont think so for a couple of reasons. The parking in Reynolda Village is not the best, the decor/vibe is off, and how Joe presents the doughnuts are not that different from Duck Donuts, but Duck offers a more extensive selection.

Exceptional, really Im not huge on cake donuts but these are just over the top delicious. Coffee was excellent as well. Key Lime, Earl grey and orange have been tried so far and each was amazing in both depth and restraint of flavor.

The girl working the shop were very nice. They ask only two people at a time in the store. They take your order and serve your coffee quickly the ask you to wait outside for the donuts. Its a very nice place and both coffee and donuts were delish!!

Delicious donuts melt in your mouth if you eat it fresh. I had to fight myself to save the second one for later, which was still great after a few seconds in the microwave.

These doughnuts are DELICIOUS! They taste like something you might get at a county fair; they are made to order and come out piping hot! They have a lovely crispy exterior and soft, warm interior. Dough-Joes offers many different glazes for the doughnuts, including seasonal options like apple cider, salted caramel, and pumpkin spice. YUM. I really appreciate that they are caring for their customers by continuing to wear face masks during the pandemic. Excited for my next doughnut here :)

This is place is WORTH IT! Hands down best made to order cake donut Ive ever had, and Ive tried all the NC options. I cannot wait to go back!! They have so many choices but the butterscotch is insane! Highly recommend! Dough-Joes has great coffee and amazing donuts and pastries to compliment the drinks. My group had some of the seasonal drinks including the gingerbread latté. The outdoor seating is saturated with the sweet smell of the donuts and pretty much forces you to go inside.The atmosphere inside is calm with a guilded Victorian style that matches the buildings historic architecture. There seemed to be limited seating inside, but on days with good weather the outdoor seating more than makes up for it.Overall, it was a great place for coffee and to visit with friends. I look forward to coming back here again.

We loved these donuts! I was looking for a place that sold better donuts than Krispy Kreme or Dunkin Donuts, and this is the place! I got them early one Saturday morning. The place is nice and quaint. They follow all health and safety guidelines by wearing masks, and only allowing 2 people in their shop at a time. This is great! They have cute tables and chairs outside were you can wait for your order to be finished. The taste was incredible. So good. The only reason Im not giving it a 5 star review is because they got my order wrong, but honestly all the donuts were so good that we didnt mind that much.

Their donuts are the best in Winston-Salem and always hot and fresh! We love their baked goods too. My favorite coffee is the lavender latte! Can’t wait to go back.

Hand-made donuts cooked fresh to your order. Thats what Im talking about! Mmm, sweet and yummy. I visited on opening day in the middle of a crowd and Dough Joes was keeping up with the orders. In addition to donuts they have some pastries if various types. And of course espresso machine ready to pull coffee drinks.

Drove from Wilkesboro to here its 40 degrees out. There is only one customer inside and the girl at the counter asked me to wait outside. Even though the sign said two people could be inside at a time. I understand the safety measures of Covid, but if you say 2 people then let two people in. I waited outside for 15 minutes waiting for the group of 4 people you had no problem letting in.

Some of the best doughnuts Ive ever had. I used to follow their food truck around, stalking them on Saturday mornings, so this location is a lot easier and I dont feel as creepy. Everything Ive gotten has been delicious. I took off 1/2 a star because it was $9 (!!!) for a half-dozen, but it rounds up to 5, so I feel good with a 5-star rating for this place. The inside atmosphere is so hip and trendy, it feels like Im in Nashville or Austin or somewhere much cooler than Winston Salem. Love this place!

Fantastic. We liked their food truck, and the cafe is so much better. Coffee is good, donuts are cooked to order and brought out. Nice space, inside and out, lots of tables. Open late most nights. Good crowd, and they added half a dozen parking spaces in front. Definitely worth a trip.

As a Wake alum I am so happy to support this awesome business. Their doughnuts are great and the vibe of the place is cozy and inviting. The only reason I’m giving 4 stars is because of all the tables taken by Wake students’ books and laptops. I’m all for study for places but this is a shop not a library.

Cute place but its hit or miss. Basic doughnut varieties without glaze seem better. Last visit we ordered different glazes and they all tasted the same; indistinguishable sweet. Anyway we prefer a doughnut you can pick up and eat with your hands. These are mushy soft and oily with the glaze, served in dish with forks.

These are the BEST doughnuts youll ever eat. The shop is so warm and cozy, and the staff is wonderful! Go here! You wont regret it :)

First time in,coffee was good,but not very friendly

Although its not hard to find, Dough-Joes Reynolda Village location feels tucked away and cozy. It is a respite from the typical coffee shop scene, with delicious cooked-to-order doughnuts, ice cream, and pastries. The doughnuts have a lovely, light, cake-like texture and are served warm until 5pm. A variety of indoor seating options as well as benches and tables outside make it an inviting spot to meet friends or to escape for some solo time.

My husband and I tried Dough Joe’s for the first time today and were blown away!! The doughnuts were so delicious, served quickly and tasted fresh and hot. The coffee menu was diverse and fairly priced. The shop itself is very cute and was decorated for fall which made it feel cozy and made me want to stay a while. I feel confident saying these were the best doughnuts I’ve ever had. Also- it’s very hard to find apple cider donuts and these were on point.

Although the donuts at Dough Joes were fresh and warm, the service left much to be desired. After waiting for service while the young lady at the counter talked with the previous customer, indicating that she was the manager, we were dealt with very perfunctorily. We were not asked how we wanted our receipt, although the POS prompted the server for this information. We were also not provided with a receipt in any form.

The new location is great. Plenty of places to sit outside. Lots of coffee and tea to choose from and the Doughnuts are still the best in town. Would have posted a picture but ate them too quick

I was so excited to get home, after being away overnight, to share delicious doughnuts with my husband. I ordered 2 apple caramel, 2 maple, and 2 cinnamon sugar. I just knew he would like the variety. I was disappointed to find 6 cinnamon sugar doughnuts in the box. No maple, no apple caramel. Sigh.

Spectacular service, amazing fresh doughnuts, peanut free, and now an amazing local independent coffee shop that is open late! I have been searching for my perfect place since we moved here. I am so glad to have finally found it!Over a year later and we are still in love with this place. Dough Joes has been a great part of our lives for a long time. It was the first doughnut my son ever had (back in the food-truck days) and still the best one around. The staff are just as amazing. From our first moments moving to Winston to Grad school, they have brought a lot of joy to our family for a long time. I look forward to many more years of awesome coffee, doughnuts, and especially people!

My husband and I went to the Doughnut shop in Reynolda this morning. We chose the doughnut with the sugar coating. The doughnut was so greasy and tasted like the oil in which it was cooked. It was so bad that we took one bite and trashed the rest!

I really wanted to love this place, and was so excited to go with my mom, but I was so disappointed. First, the doughnuts are made to order, which is fine, but I was told Id wait 5-10 minutes which turned into 20 minutes. Second, the doughnuts are so greasy, they are like fried greasy dough. They advertise them to be more like cake, than typical yeast doughnuts, and they definitely dont taste cakey. if you want cakey, quality doughnuts go to Stans doughnuts in Chicago... Also, we got raspberry glaze and lemon glaze. The lemon glaze didnt taste like lemon at all, it tasted like a regular, plain doughnut, and the raspberry glaze was very watery, not thick, and tasted quite artificial. It was like a mixture of berry jelly and water, melted on the doughnut. BUT, the worst part of this experience was the undercooked, RAW doughnuts we found in our box. We got 6 doughnuts, 3 out of which were undercooked and had wet, uncooked dough!!!! So disappointing. Prices were good though, thats the only positive.
