I wanted to take a moment to highlight my delight in the abundant care I received from Brian and the BoTy George Walker florist team.I was a bride who had her wedding postponed multiple times due to COVID restrictions. My wedding was held in Sacramento, California at Arden Hills, which was an A-rated venue and I hired their top rated, preferred vendors. Since I used to live in that area, and had modeled for many years, including styled wedding shoots for a lot of these vendors, I was notified that our wedding would be featured in a local wedding magazine. I was excited and communicated this news with all my vendors and expected magazine quality services.Come the day of the wedding, I was underwhelmed with let down after let down from most of our vendors, especially from our florist, who gave us wilted, sad flowers on my special day. I was heartbroken. To add insult to injury, the florist blamed us for the sad condition of the flowers they gave us and instead of trying to make things right, they threatened to sue us for slander and demanded we never contact them.All my guests could see how sad my flowers looked, including the editor of the bridal magazine, who was a guest at our wedding, and my wedding photos will forever display those wilted, dead flowers.This bothered me so much that when I got home to North Carolina, I shared my story to a few local florists, just to see if what happened to me was justified or not.I got a response back from Brian, the owner of BoTy George Walker Florist at 1419 S Stratford Rd, in Winston Salem, NC who said that what I experienced was wrong. He shared his precious time with me over multiple phone calls, emails and text messages. I expressed that I wanted to plan a “re-do wedding shoot” with fresh flowers and he made it his mission to make sure I got that. We discussed what I hoped for and he recommended I came in the day prior to pick up, to make sure the flowers met my expectations. They were beautiful!!! Absolutely overflowing with beauty! I cannot express enough how happy I was and how this helped mend the pain I had from our real wedding day experience. I highly recommend hiring BoTy Walker for any and all of your floral needs, because they really put care into their work and it shows!

We placed an online order for a sympathy arrangement to be delivered the next day. In the morning they called to tell me that the particular flowers for this arrangement were unavailable (they were not a common run-of-the-mill bloom) and asked if I would like to substitute a smaller flower of a different color but use more of them, or do something entirely different. I asked them to substitute. Within a couple of hours I received an email with a picture of the revised arrangement and it was beautiful! It was delivered promptly. They were very helpful in making sure a beautiful arrangement was delivered to our recipient on time.

My daughter Bianca and her new husband Jim got married this weekend and I cannot say enough about the designer Hani and Addie that helped us make our wedding so beautiful! Everyone at our wedding said the centerpieces and flowers were the most beautiful they had ever seen. You guys made our day perfect! Thank you so very much! Fabulous from start to finish! The woman I spoke with on the phone was kind and so helpful. She let me know what I wanted did not look fresh, but they had a new delivery coming and asked if I could wait for the next day. I appreciated her honesty about the quality. After our call, I received the invoice via email. The next day, I received an email image of the bouquet, which was beautiful. Upon delivery, I then received another email stating the flowers had been delivered. I appreciate all the communication and that the flowers were so pretty!

When I first saw the arrangement they made for a family member I was not satisfied. It appeared to have more greenery than it did the flowers I requested. But once they were aware of my disappointment they immediately took action They picked it from up Hayworth Miller before the visitation that evening and were insistent I be completely satisfied before it was returned to the facility. It was lovely. I might add that other arrangements at her service that were also from Bo-Ty were absolutely stunning. They will do their best to make sure you are happy with your order. After all, they have been doing this for many, many years.

Called this local florists to deliver some flowers to my uncle who is in the hospital in Winston-Salem and they were amazing. As a family we always scout out the local florists to make deliveries for us and this is the first time they sent a picture of what they delivered. You always wonder what the person you sent received, but no need to guess with these guys, as they send a photo and it was such a beautiful arrangement. We will order from them again if we need flowers delivered in that area.

I placed my order over the phone and received a confirmation receipt with all the details we discussed along with message that would be on the card before we hung up. Maybe an hour later, I received a picture of the arrangment which was gorgeous. Couple hours later, I received a delivery notification that the flowers were delivered. I live in NY, but my son and my daughter-in-law recently relocated to North Carolina. Im also an event florist, so I know just how busy weekends can be for florists -- especially with a major holiday right around the corner. I had the pleasure of speaking with a consultant who was delightful, and she assured me that Walker Florist could and would accommodate my request for same day delivery. Its easy to select a beautiful floral piece for your daughter, but not as easy to select something just as impressive for your son. She suggested that I send him a dish garden, which was a great idea. They attached a birthday balloon to the piece and sent me a delivery confirmation -- including a photo of the dish garden -- within a few hours. Im more than satisfied -- in fact, Im grateful. They were a pleasure to deal with -- professional and friendly service, good selection advice, fast delivery and confirmation, and all for a fair price. Highly recommended.

Ordered flowers the day before a major flower-giving holiday and they came through and delivered to hospital. Only option was to specify providers choice of arrangement due to high holiday demand, so had to take leap of faith. Flowers were beautiful and PERFECT and they did a great job. I would like to share the wonderful experience with Bo-Ty Walker Florist. I live in Oregon ( 3 hour time difference),and this was Christmas Eve. I called to see if by chance I could have a Christmas table arrangement delivered to my cousin. I knew it was a long shot since it was already 1:30 in Winston-Salem but I was lucky enough to call and got Jennifer on the phone. I told her what I wanted and (I am praying now) she said she would be happy to deliver to my cousin on her way home. I was so happy and grateful! She was so sweet and I highly recommend this florist. We used Bo-Ty Walker to send over 40 arrangements (at one time). Each one was unique, beautiful and efficiently delivered -- AND at a great price. In addtion, my husband used them to send me an Anniversary arrangement - again ABSOLUTELY beautiful and unique AND still looking beautiful a week later. Definitely are go to Florist from now on.

Easy to use website and fast same day delivery

I got the name of this florist from a dear friend in the Winston Salem area. I live about 4 hours away and needed a special delivery to one of my best friends in the Winston Salem area. I had a special request for blue flowers. Previously I contacted a couple other florists that said that it would be a week before they could get some in and another one that refused to spray paint white roses blue. Whenever I contactedBo-Ty Walker Florist, within seconds of hearing my request, Megan said yes and got the job done, even the request of a special delivery time. I have several friends in the area that I want to bless with flowers periodically and I will use them every time.

Never going back. Racist much? Im glad that I didnt get a chance to spend any money because they wouldnt let me into the store. I called to get the location of the store and was told they were open. The lady didnt mention anything about having to wait outside. When I pulled up the door was locked and people inside could see me. They just watched me. I got back in my vehicle and 10 seconds later one of the girls let a man exit the store while looking at me the whole time. She stared at me like you are not coming in here. I am Black. I placed an order for a spray of flowers for my brother’s casket two weeks prior to his funeral service. I gave them the color of the casket and asked that their designers please select flowers that would complement the casket. The flowers were delivered on time and were gorgeous. This is the second time time I have used Bo-Ty Walker for funeral flowers. They were superb on both occasions.

Having been a long-time customer of Bo-Ty Florist (always with stellar results and service), I was excited to hear of the merge with George K Walker. My first order was a little rough around the edges, but they did everything possible to make it right and sent a bouquet of flowers out free of charge for me. George K Walker was responsible for my wedding flowers. We did in person designs and I took pictures for reference. Covid hit and the wedding date got pushed from April to August. The flowers were delivered and I seriously thought I received someone elses order. We based our wedding around Duke Blue and they had one flower that sold me on the entire arrangement. This flower was no where to be found in the flowers I received, nothing looked as it should have. My flowers were pink and white with some purple. I was told my blue spray roses werent available due to Covid, but they never called me to ask if I wanted to change it.Ive tried for five weeks to resolve this issue. We came to an agreement two weeks ago on receiving some of my money back, Im continuously told the check is going out or I should have something by Friday.
