I purchased a mattress set from Mattress Center which I received Spring of 2020. After only a couple of months the mattress had a severe valley even though I am not a very big person. I contacted the owner, Paul, who appeared concerned and I sent him pictures of the problem. After numerous phone calls over several months with no response, I went into the store and the manager said since Paul was handling it, she couldnt do anything. I continued to call Paul with no response and finally called the store back and after stating I would be forced to write a negative review, which I hate to do and usually only post positive ones, the manager attempted to help me. It has now been over a year since I have been trying to resolve the warranty issue and still have not received any credit because they removed the tag before it was delivered to me (why?). I would not do business with them.

We bought an adjustable bed from Katherine and Paul. A wonderful choice! They were knowledgeable, fair, honest and prompt. The delivery guys were nothing short of professional and made sure every little detail was taken care of before they left. Would recommend Mattress Center to anyone who has done their homework and really wants the best deal, quality and customer service out there!

Good experience and a great guy, but 2 years in I cant even sleep on this mattress. He claimed to have given me a deal because he needed to make room for a huge delivery, but after spending $1,000 I have to sleep on my couch. Is my experience just an anomaly? Im curious about how other mattresses have fared. 130 pounds shouldnt have messed it up that quick.

Had a fantastic experience at Mattress Center! Didnt feel pressured (or ignored) like sometimes happens at big franchise stores. Paul was great to work with, extremely knowledgeable about the beds and, based on what I told him when I tried certain mattresses, was able to point me towards a mattress that was great for me. I was in between two different comfort levels of the same mattress (one softer, one firmer) and I was assured that I would be able to swap the mattress for the other if it ended up not being the right fit for me after a few weeks. I went with the softer, but ended up doing a comfort swap for the firmer. Paul was completely understanding and did the swap for me easily! So pleased with the mattress and the adjustable base I got, too. Plus, I got more than I expected for what I was able to spend. I highly recommend Mattress Center and will definitely be back or send friends!

My experience was outstanding. Diana James was an exceptional sales person who helped my buying experience in every way. Her knowledge and expertise of the mattress industry was exceptional. Every question was answered. All of the many options were explored. I had no doubt that my purchase was the right one for me.

I recently purchased a mattress set here and I had a wonderful experience. I love my mattress! My salesman, Paul, was very knowledgeable and helpful in explaining the differences between mattresses and helping me select the right mattress at the right price. We worked with Paul and he was very helpful in making sure we made an informed decision on our adjustable bed. He followed up with us after seeing that a promotion started the day we bought the bed. This allowed us to take advantage of the special even after we had made the purchase. He delivered the bed at a time that was best for us. I went to every mattress store in Winston-Salem, and finally bought from the Mattress Center. Best decision I could have made! I didnt think it would make a difference, but their incredible customer service really does add value.Paul is great!

Locally owned is the way to go. The salesman was knowledgeable and not pushy like most salesman. Their return policy is great, as is the ability to work with a small business instead of a megacorporation. We got a great deal and were able to bring the mattress home today (and drop our old one off)

I visited mattress stores all over Winston-Salem. I bought my first memory foam mattress from Paul. He did not pressure me in any way.I felt that he took lots of time with me to answer all of my questions. I felt like I had plenty of time to rest and try out all of the mattresses. This past Saturday I was on my way to Ashleys to shop for a mattress set.On my way there I stopped at this new Mattress Center. There I found what I was looking for. Paul gave us the best deal in town for the set we wanted to buy. He explained and answered everything we asked in regard to our purchased. No only did we get a good deal, we also have the mattresses delivered and hauling the old mattresses for free. He also challenged us to find a better deal than the one he gave us. Just bought a $1599 mattress for $599!!!!! Ive done exhausting research to purchase the right mattress at the right price and it gets no better than this being I got the set. Paul was AWESOME!
