The lady working front was super nice and helpful. Nothing good to say about my repairs or services from the back. Only had 2 repairs, 2 polishes at this business.
They were able to fix my fanny pack in a couple of days at a very affordable cost and very friendly. Also the shop itself have a very nice atmosphere to it. Very strong wafts of partnership and artinsenship. Strongly recommend. They dont just cobble shoes!
Great! I needed something put in the toes of a pair of Hokas, to keep my big toes from wearing holes in the shoes. They were able to sew in small sheets of thin leather. PERFECT! Unless I point it out, its not noticable. Just look through the pictures on their website. Very nice and helpful and answered all my questions.
Ive always had them repair my shoes and purses. One time they did a specialty patch on my hiking boots that would withstand the left foot shifting of a motorcycle. Totally custom ... and its still lasting!
*edit to owners response* After the job you sent i will certainly not send my boots back in. You can send me a check for the cost of the new resole i had to have done elsewhere.Botched a resole on a pair of red wings i had sent in. I have seen their other resoles and decided to give them a chance. The finished product was horrendous. I did not even bother confronting the company to make it right. If this was the final finish i do not see anything better come out a second time. Sent them to a company in Minnesota, Northern Republic and while they took a lot longer, the finished product was 10 times better
They have an excellent selection of colored polishes and other products for your leather. . . But the Repair Shop is why I keep coming back. . . Totally Satisfied. . . Spotless store, it always has been. . .
Poor communication. Rude and sarcastic. I didnt feel welcomed there ever and I shared this with Josh. No changes since. Ive reached out to people in Winston and theyve recommended Brents instead. Im not the only customer who has felt snubbed or like an inconvenience at this business.
Did a GREAT job on some strappies I been trying to get fixed for the longest. I will use this place for all my shoe/leather needs from now on. They worked wonders on some Tims I ruined.
Amazing customer service! My heel had been replaced, but there was a defect in the replacement heel and Wyatt replaced it at no cost and no hassle. They are the best! 5yr plus customer and they do not disappoint
Amazing service! I went in about a year ago to have a pair of heels repaired. Apparently the heel wasn’t going to be able to be completed in the original estimated time I was given but this was communicated with me and I had no issues with waiting the extra few days. My babies looked flawless and I haven’t had any issues with them since having them repaired! Run, don’t walk, to get all your shoe needs met here!
The repair looks great and sturdy. I will be testing the water ski boot tomorrow.
This place is fantastic. Ive had no-slip tread put on many cowboy boots and always do great job. Recently had expensive pair of boots resoled. They did even better than the original. Prices are fair and turn around time is really fast. Nice people too. Nice to do business with locally owned and operated family business.
We have taken many shoes here over the years and they always do wonderful work. Recently they resoled my husbands Rocky boots and he couldnt have been happier with the results. He said they are better than new. They will tell you up front if something can be fixed or not. They are friendly and the repairs are done in a timely manner.
Wanted to charge THREE times what Ive ever paid for work. If thats how they are pricing their work, Id find another shop. Thats what Im doing! You claim that I requested customizing gloves. In fact, I partially amputated four fingers on one hand decades ago and sought your assistance again (about 5 years ago, you charged 8$) to sew the four fingers and cut off the excess on ONE GLOVE! Functionality not asetics was the goal. Apparently, prices have more than quadrupled for this service at this establishment, but not elsewhere in Winston Salem based on my research.
Tony Wyatt did a superb job resolving my Allen Edmonds walnut shell Cornwallis. Would definitely recommend and will use again in the future.
The best for those unusual leather needs! Fantastic friendly service! ♥️😘
I love this place! Theyre so amazing at what they do. I have wide calves so they made the dip bigger in my cowboy boots and sewed em up just fine so I could wear them. They do an awesome job placing new soles on boots. They do shoe stretching too. Anyways these guys know what theyre doing. Thanks yall.
These guys know their stuff. I wont buy my inserts anywhere else. Im a nurse on my feet a lot. They ROCK!!!!!
I brought an expensive pair of leather dress shoes here to be re-soled. I had asked around, and I had many recommendations to come here. The lady at the front desk was nice and helpful, but when I received my shoes back, I was not at all satisfied. There are brass emblems on the bottom of both shoes, and several of the nails were lost in their shop. The repairman had tried to put one of their nails through a hole in the emblem and broke a corner off and poked a hole in the insole of the shoe. He also argued with me that he did not lose any of the nails himself and didnt break the corner. Later he stated he did break the corner. There was also a lot of dark brown wax smeared on the leather of my shoes that is a pain to get off. I did call and speak with the manager who was apologetic and stated if I could get more of the emblems and nails from the shoe company, he would replace them for me. Overall, I would not recommend this shoe shop, and I will not return with another pair of shoes.
Good Americans and Good human beings what a great place. And it doesn’t matter who you are every time I go there’s someone there who’s got a smile on their face. Thanks Mike Brewer
Great place for shoe and boot repair.
Great at what they do. Fast service, great prices. As asset to the community.
First visit... took 3 shoes to be fixed... 1 a sandal flat good job... 2 heel sandal ok but doesnt look new as can see seam but was informed not going to fall apart... 3 an Ugg boot to be clean that he mentioned can be done as I mentioned if not its ok will just throw away as daughter will not wear. Went to pick up still stain so told me to come back as he didnt get 2 clean as wanted. Went back still stains, I asked for refund as I know my daughter is not going to wear and he told me he did the work so no. I did inform shouldnt have advised could do if couldnt as now Im out $22.50 with a pair of Ugg boots for sale to try and get my money back that I worked just as hard for. Not good customer service will not go back as only good work was on flap of sandal for $7.50. Spent $55 trying 2 get 3 shoes repaired. UNSATISFIED
Wyatt & Dad is a FANTASTIC business. Family owned and they care about their customers. I found them while living in Winston-Salem, and have since moved out of the area. But that doesnt mean I dont use them anymore,....I do. I just mail them and they fix my shoes. Use them. They will do everything possible to help you.
Ive used this shop several times for top lifts and half soles, and the work is always top notch. Better still, the prices are very reasonable. Highly recommended.
Disappointed. I took 2 pair of Sperrys in to be cleaned up. They did an ok job but I guess I just expected more. The lady at the desk was friendly and the price was was pretty low but just not impressed with the outcome. The lady said my shoes werent in bad condition and should clean up. When i picked up the shoes one pair still had stains and the other pair is covered in brush marks. Not sure if this is normal but not worth the time or money if it is. Bottom line, fast, friendly service, and good price but the end result wasnt worth the effort.
Very professional and pleasant.
Great friendly service!
I brought my shoe in to be stitched. My wife picked it up for me but did not inspect it. When she brought it home to me I noticed right away that the seam was not properly aligned and therefore not stitched the way it was originally. After one day the seam separated in the same area that was repaired.I brought the shoe back and they apologized, fixed it for no charge. I am completely satisfied, they did a great job!
Excellent service, especially good with special need jobs.
They repairs the old fashion way,the right way
I brought in a pair of work boots to get resoled, in just two days they were not only soled but cleaned, conditioned & polishedLooking better than newI highly recommend this business
