Our oven died this morning so we did a quick search of ovens in Orlando. We found this GE oven with 4.5 stars and a price tag of $449 compared to $719 at a competitor. It was in stock and though there is a sizable dent on the side it doesn’t affect performance and you can’t even see it once installed. Alex was very helpful and we were in and out in less than half an hour. They were efficient and gave us a discount on the after care package. Highly recommend checking this place out!

Easy to do business with. People are friendly and courteous yet a little slow.The appliances look good. There will be minor cosmetic damage like small dents or scratches, but it will save you 300-400 dollars of the retail price.The place looks old and not that great, prices are very reasonableThere are hundreds of varieties, Kenmore, whirlpool, LG, GE, Samsung .Washers, dryers, fridges, stoves, microwave ovens, conventional ovens, furniture, beds, tables, couches, love seats, sofas, mattresses.And much more.We were shopping for a washer and we got it for 341$ less than the price at another retailer.

I have never written a review in my life for anything. If I could give this place negative starts I would. This has been the worst experience I have ever had with a furniture company.Delayed furniture delivery. The company truck broke down and they canceled all the deliveries for the day I was supposed to get my furniture. I wasted a day off from work that I might need to use in the future. I was not told that my delivery day was changed after calling 3 times to confirm my delivery for the specified day.On the new day of delivery I was not given a window of time for delivery and was at work when the company let me know their driver was 15 minutes away from my house.Furniture was delivered broken and in pieces. Pieces were also missing out of boxes.When I tried to return the items that were damaged I was given misinformation from employees about which store had the items I needed. When I arrived at the store they had nothing I needed and sent me to another store without informing the new store that I was coming.I was verbally harassed by employees at the new store I was sent to pick up the new pieces from. I was told how expensive the pieces were they were giving me several times like I hadn’t already paid for the entire bed plus a mattress.The only saving grace was a young employee that helped me pack my car and reassured me that he was okay staying late to help me with whatever I needed.Otherwise, 0/10 I do not recommend buying furniture from American Freight.

I have been in this store a few times, you can land a great deal on some high end appliances. I am picky - I dont have to get a good deal and I dont need financing, but I like the best price when I am shopping. Its a game for me. I have been even more impressed the last few months. The store used to be all confusing and a mess, but lately the products are organized well and its much easier to shop for a specific item. The two managers are really helpful the tall red headed goatee guy and the dark curly hair guy. If you need something just ask for a manager - some of the employees are just clueless. I love that I can get an extended warranty also. Insider tip - the more you buy the more you save.

We went in to buy a refrigerator to replace the one we bought from this same store 20 years ago (talk about a great value!). We already knew the one we wanted but Gary was helpful throughout the transaction. He offered us the extended warranty (as to be expected) but was definitely not high-pressure about it, which was a pleasant surprise.For an extra $100 we got delivery, setup, and haul-away of the old fridge. TOTALLY worth it! Eric and Luis were fantastic at getting the new fridge in the house and setting it up. Kudos to them as well.American Freight sells scratch-and-dent appliances at greatly discounted prices from new. Sure the fridge has a few dings but nothing that a couple of magnets cant hide. For the value, there is no better place in Orlando to buy appliances. We will most certainly be back when its time to replace any other kitchen appliances.

We went in here last night because our refrigerator compressor was bad and we decided to just buy a new one. We showed up here literally 12 minutes prior to close, and a friendly knowledgeable salesman quickly helped us pick a brand new fridge that we loved and never pushed us to come another time or hurry through the process. We ended up getting over 50% off because of a couple dents on the front that can easily be covered by magnets and photos as well as a couple dents on the sides that won’t even be seen anyway. The place had a good selection, was clean, and delivery was easy to set up. They offered us an extended warranty which was a good price and we obviously got it. Overall we are very happy with the whole experience. The reason we chose to come here is because prior to buying our own house, the owner of our previous rental house got a fridge for us here and he highly recommended it.

Ordered refrigerator, scheduled delivery for Monday then told its now Wed and they would try to get it to us by Monday or Tuesday if possible. Wed comes no call or text we call and they say we are scheduled for Friday or Saturday. Spoke to Gary who sold the refrigerator to us, told him the delivery date on our paperwork he said it shows Friday. We reminded him of the conversation about no later than Wednesday he said he didnt know but the truck must be full. Explained we did not get any word of a change and he just asked if we wanted it delivered Friday or not. Would not recommend this company. If you look at the reviews you see a pattern.

I was a big fan of Sears Outlet for years mainly because of a sales associate, Dean. It was a great surprise to visit the warehouse (now American Freight) and find he is still there as a store manager. He is still providing great customer service and my mom ended up buying an awesome washing machine at an awesome price compared to the bigger appliance stores. THANKS TO DEAN !!!

I cant speak to the in person experience at this store. Maybe its great, I dunno.However, if you buy anything online from this store, god help you.I had a problem with the shipping for an item that I ordered online. It appeared that there was an error made in the shipping process, because the item had been picked up from the wrong location.Here is the problem with this store: THEY DO NOT ANSWER THE PHONE. EVER.I repeatedly tried to contact the store regarding the problem, and made almost 20 call attempts (18 to be precise, based on my phone call log). Out of those 18 calls, over several weekdays, during the stores normal office hours, over half of the calls were met with a busy signal, and the rest just rang forever.Now I know what youre thinking: Well, they are very busy and there are lots of calls, which is why the phone is busy. I can tell you, thats BS.Heres why:On call attempt 17, I managed to make it through to a person. Obviously it was a fluke, but nonetheless, I was happy that I could finally talk to a human. And to be fair, the person genuinely sounded like they wanted to help, so she put me on hold to check into things. I sat on hold for a few minutes, listening to the hold music, when finally someone picked up the line, not realizing that I was on it. (I mean, why would they? They dont ever answer the phone, so...)The person then proceeded to place the phone on the desk, and started talking about how they routinely take the phone off hook because they dont want to deal with customers. After about 10 minutes of listening to them laugh and talk about various different things, they hung up the phone and disconnected me.So I guess that explains why the phone is always busy.

I have been going to Sears surplus for years, which is now American freight. I was in search of a special fit French door refrigerator to replace our existing 17 yr old fridge thats dying. I dont think Ive ever met a employee as welcoming, positive, or genuinely kind like Eddie is.My husband and I were shopping for appliances, and as first time owners we really needed some guidance. We came to him with questions about similar appliances and he gave his honest recommendations on brands and each appliances capabilities. In the end, we actually decided on upgraded versions of the appliances we were eyeing online. Were glad we saw it in the store showroom and happy that Eddie helped us through such a big decision. We never felt rushed or pressured to buy something that wasnt right for us.Eddie sat with us and suggested we call our contractors to make sure we werent getting unnecessary equipment and correct sizes.So long story short: visit this American freight Location for most well-stocked items at half of the cost of other stores. If youre shopping for appliances, look for Eddie!

This store is phenomenal!!! Every sales person weve met has been a character. LOL. These guys are full of stories. It makes the shopping experience interesting. They take their time with you. Its not like going to one of those big box stores where the staff basically does everything to make you feel youre a second rate human.They even comparison shop for you on their smart phones. That way you know youre not getting ripped off. If you see a lower price, it doesnt hurt to ask them to match it or beat it. But weve always been happy with their prices. Very competitive. I just dont want to get ripped off. Id gladly pay a few dollars extra to get this kind of service and be sure that Im getting what Im paying for. You could possibly get a slightly better deal online, but you may not even get what youre paying for when its all said and delivered.Their delivery team is also aces. These guys make lifting a huge appliance look easy. Bottom line you will receive fantastic prices and service all and all.

So we ordered a dishwasher from here online. It tells me its ready to pick up at any time. Mind you, we both work and have a 5 year old in school. We live 45 minutes away. So, we plan to get it when we have time and guess what? Its not ready. They say because only the manager can approve online orders so it didnt get processed yet. Thats not my fault they have poor procedures in place. Im spending money and my time is limited. They clearly dont care about the effect they have on their customers. Im so disappointed in their service. Were still waiting on a call from a manager to rectify. We arent able to come back until who knows when. They should deliver at this point to fix their error.*** editedThe manager called me and they will now deliver to help offset the issue. I appreciate Eddie taking charge of the situation. You can find amazing prices for items that are usually very expensive at regular furniture stores. Service is good and you wont feel pressured to purchase something. The store could use some TLC. Other than that, if you visit regularly you will most likely find what you need or something you didnt know you needed.

Really had a hard time getting anyone to answer the phones. When I would get an answer I would be told that someone would call me back due to them being to busy with customers to deal with me and never did. Finally spoke to the manager after waiting 3 days to pick up my online order. She was very helpful. The pickup went smoothly and Im happy with my purchase. I want to give 5 stars though to the gentlemen that loaded my washer. They went above and beyond.They were also friendly and professional. Thanks.

Purchased a high end stove from A.F. @ Winter park. They handled me with white glove service, with utmost of professionalism and customer service. I wont shop anywhere else because they know how to treat a customer from purchase to delivery.

Very unprofessional I was calling to find out about an order and they DID NOT pick up that phone. They ended up disconnecting the phone and leaving the phone off the hook and I ended up placing the order online mins later Dean, the manager calls me just to tell me they did not have my order in store and it will be 3-6 weeks before they even get it. Now i have to wait 5 days to receive my money back all because they choose not to pick up the phone. Not to mention Dean, being the manager was literally no help at all. I also purchase some sofas from them put insurance and they came damage its been almost a month and I have not heard anything back yet. This place is just a joke.

I wet to Lowe’s and found what I needed way cheaper—- and new out of the box!!!!The 2 stars are for the employees cause they did help when I needed it and it’s not there fault there prices are so high!!!!There location is good it has lot of parking and space!!!But never again!!!! Communication on 90 day payment plan was not clear at all and not advertised correctly, you better off paying out right i was sold a same as cash 90 day payment program and paying extra $100+ and my discount was not even applied . Recommend if your buying something here pay it out right and get out ! Phone service is also terrible, due to there all sales final rule they dont care about you after you buy a item
