I have enjoyed a ZIO designed home entertainment system for over 15 years. From the big screen theatre room to baths and bedrooms all entertainment products from cable and music server to Apple TV and game boxes, everything is distributed providing maximum entertainment. I have just taken it for granted. Wednesday when a sound problem threatened my weekend home movie plan, I called service and 24 hours later Keith, personal and professional like all of the staff is) was at the house and fixed the problem. It reminded me to say thank you to ZIO for all of these years of perfect service delivered on a personal level. I apologize for never thinking to say this earlier! Augie

I was referred to Zio by a neighbor and they responded promptly to my theater request. The team had great attention to detail, listened to what we wanted and thoroughly addressed our concerns. Within a few months, I had a stunning theater and home automation system in place.Afterwards, everything wasn’t perfect, yet, the team quickly showed the rest of my family how to use the system.I highly recommend Zio for your needs.

After nearly $100,000.00 of residential service this company could never get anything to work properly. We moved into our home 7 years ago and wanted to retrofit a Control 4 system and work with TiVo. For an entire seven years there were constant error messages and network problems that they created a house of cards delicately balanced that could not sustain residential use. They were like using Duct tape to fix functional problems. Their customer service is abysmal because for residential work you need to be available. You discover errors after work hours and on the weekends when you most want to use your system. They do not offer service nights and weekends so customer service is really no service. Then, when Monday rolls around, they offer to book you for almost a week out. It really is unacceptable for residential customers. I had to have so many back-up services at increased cost such as Cable boxes to back up TiVo and apple TV to stream. Their network creation was so poor that streaming was pathetic.I was a loyal customer so I kept giving them more opportunities to make things right, but it just got worse. Throwing good money after bad. I should have cut ties so much earlier. Their accounting department is so inefficient and difficult to follow what you have paid and not. It is not unusual to get invoices months later, or even year. There was no way to make an online payment: so very antiquated for a tech company. In summary, this company should NEVER be in the residential market. They are mostly a commercial company, and survive on those contracts that operate so differently than residential. As soon as I switched to another residential outfit, problems dissappeared! Of course, it cost another $40,000.00 to do that. Now, however, we are able to have media on nights and weekends and a speedy network that does not crash.

One of their company drivers just drove me off the highway and almost caused an accident. This company really needs to make sure their drivers are keeping everyone safe on the road. Im pregnant and this drivers recklessness could of really hurt myself and my unborn child.

After careful consideration I picked Zio do install my home theater in my new house. My choice proved to be a wise one. Professional and meticulous are the adjectives that come to mind. Once finished they stand by their work and continue with any support after the job is done. From proposal to turn key Zio is the company to use when you have high expectations.

Used to raise the bar on customer service, too bad they treat their employees like garbage. Have you called them to get work done and the people who helped you seem to be all gone?It is not your imagination. This company chased away over 30 employees in a one year time. That is a serious commitment to bad management.Any company trying to bill themselves as a premier a/v integration firm and lighting experts that does not even see the need for project management or accountability is not where I would decide to place my trust for my home or office

Unprofessional company and very poor service. I would recommend you look elsewhere for a better price and product.

ZIO has developed a Control4-centric, integrated technology solution for my new-construction townhome – and I could not be happier with the results. The process started with an assessment of my needs for the new townhouse. One thing I found unique about ZIO’s approach was that their rep wanted to understand the big picture of the end results I expected. Rather than pushing for this and that “cool gadget”, he wanted to understand first what end result I had envisioned. The capabilities I desired encompassed audio, video, lighting control (both lights and shades), security, and climate control. After discussing budgets and timelines, I was presented with several solutions that would meet my requirements. Once again, the ZIO rep took the time to explain the rationale behind each recommended approach, as well as the trade-offs involved.Once a solution was selected, ZIO delivered it on-time and in a very professional manner. I was always kept informed of the progress. The installers and technicians took the time to make sure all my questions were answered – being an engineer, I had many. After using the system for a few weeks, I decided I wanted to make very slight modifications to some of the lighting programming. ZIO made it a breeze for me. The support after the job was completed has been outstanding.Another aspect that I believe makes ZIO stand out: their solution took into consideration future growth. A few months after the initial installation, I decided to upgrade to an OLED tv for my living room. Upgrading to a 4K HDR system downstairs was quick and completely painless.Anyone can go get a lot of the cool new gadgets at Best Buy. But if you are looking for an integrated, seamless solution that is tailored to the capabilities you want, you need to call ZIO.
