I typically go as soon as they open during the week and I’ve never had a problem with the earlyMorning employees. They’re very friendly. It’s a good gym with enough equipment for weight training and they play good music. Although, I do have a slight complaint. When places started opening back up after lockdown last year, I had a not so good encounter with a woman at the front desk who said I couldn’t work out without a towel. Which okay, I understood it was just nasty attitude about it I didn’t like. So, I left and went to crunch (I have a membership there too) Haven’t seen her since so that’s good 😊.

If you are looking for a great gym, and some personal training, I would highly recommend Youfit, University Blvd, Winter Park, FL! It is a great place to workout, with lots of equipment, and trainers, at your disposal. Brandon heads up the gym, and works hard to make sure you are happy. I am working out with personal trainer, Angel, and couldn’t be happier! He listens, and plans a workout that fits my needs, and physical abilities! Looking forward to a long, healthy, relationship with Youfit!!

This is the absolute worst experience I have ever had in my life. The management team is USELESS. you guys have wasted my time, energy, and literally my last drop of patience. Your company should be ASHAMED of the managers/directors running your Winter Park gym. No one is ever there, The managers are never in and they ALL tell you lies and different things. GARBAGE company.

I like the professional but friendly attitude of the staff, my trainer, Karlo, is a great coach and very knowledgeable about the human body and what works for my goals and adjusting for my age. He also advises on nutritional issue to supplement my weight and strength needs. The gym is always clean, I like the rules and the fact that it is a place where you can workout without the drama of other gyms I have been too. Overall it is a great place to do my workouts, learn from others and my trainer and a real neighborhood asset.

6/8/2020 Edit: I called the 888 number and was redirected to a local club. This club told me again to mail in my request to cancel. They did at least give me the option to come in to cancel as well, so I will do that.--Ive been charged for the last 2 months while the gym was closed with my knowledge. I was fine with it since I was told that my monthly premium would be used to pay staff and I have the luxury of being able to work during this pandemic.At the time of writing this review two weeks have elapsed since gyms have been permitted to reopen. Youfit is still closed and no communication has been received about a plan to reopen. I have called for an update 2-3 times as well but havent gotten any information. I understand that not all gyms are comfortable with reopening, but I would like to go back so I decided to switch gyms.I called to cancel my membership and Im told that I cannot cancel over the phone/online and that Ill need to mail in my request to cancel, which will take about 2 weeks, and it will be cancelled from the date it was received, not the postage date (meaning I could be charged again). I was instructed that it would be best to wait until the club reopens and come to cancel it in-person. I asked again, but there is still no plan to reopen.My 1-star review is due to the obstacles I face when trying to cancel my membership after having gone to this club for close to 5 year.

It’s the first time I leave 1 star review. The club staffs are nice but the manager of this club is not helpful at all. When others tried to patiently adjust your concerns about COVID-19, the manager Jessie simply brush you off. During the pandemic, people have different concerns. A club manager should be more respectful and patient to their members instead of just brushing them off. Such behavior makes people feel uncomfortable. Hope it will be improved in the future.

It’s not intimidating to go workout, especially by yourself. The staff is helpful, friendly, and genuine. I love that they remember my name. My trainer Bonnie is amazing. She has a folder for her each of her clients and tracks each individuals progress. She pushes me to better but keeps it real. Like it’s okay to eat a cookie or understanding real life happens and training has to pause.I could on about Bonnie but I need some material to right in my Valentine’s Day card to her.

When I joined the gym, I had a positive experience... but it went downhill from there. My trainer either unexpectedly quit or was fired; in which I received a very unprofessional voicemail from the club explaining this to me. It was difficult to cancel my training. After COVID and the closure, I moved and received information for cancelling my membership, which I thought I did according to the communication given to me. However, I recently began to be charged again without any email communication from the club. This is a gym just like the one you saw on Friends when Ross and Chandler went to cancel their membership... But, dont you want to come back to the gym. No, Karen... your gym is not worth my money.

Update: After about 6 months with my current trainer I had a greatly improved lab report discussion with my family physician who was very impressed with my progress.Im generally considered a high risk patient due to my night shift desk work and body type, but workouts spent at this gym and specifically with my trainer, Christian, has paid off. Everyone at this location is friendly and super supportive.This is my first commercial gym experience, but Im super pleased with the outcome and can recommend that Youfit lives up to its focus, and trainers pay close attention to your needs and challenges.

So far so good. Plenty of machines and room to work out. Less crowded at the times I prefer to go. Unfortunately they have no classes at this location. They have no tanning beds at this location. Paying for a full membership means driving a great distance to actually utilize the benefits.

The personal trainer I had five months ago is no longer there.Fortunately, I hit the jackpot with my new trainer. Sean not only knows has superb training skills and is a senior at UCF in Health Sciences, but he is also compulsive about sanitizing just about anything. I had thought I would need to wear a glove, however with Sean in charge I dont have to. Very relaxed about going to the gym again. Thanks, Sean.

Avoid this gym at all costs. Spend the few extra bucks and go to LA Fitness, Crunch, Planet Fitness, or any other number of gyms that arent this one. Heres why:- YouFit continued charging my account while their doors were closed during COVID19. A deplorable practice to say the least- I reached out to cancel on 3 separate occasions. The first time, they instead just froze my account. Then without any notice, continued making unauthorized debits to my bank account when they reopened. I once again reached out to cancel, and was completely ignored. At this point, charges continued to go through, despite me cancelling and not visiting the gym a single time after March 2020. Its December now. So once again, I reached out to YouFit to cancel my membership and request that the unauthorized charges be refunded. What I got was an egregious reply that avoided all accountability for the shady business practices, and instead blatantly told me to send a $10 processing fee to cancel my membership. The company that ignored my cancellation requests, made several unauthorized charges, and was wildly unprofessional at every turn was asking ME to send THEM money to cancel MY membership. Incredible.- When I finally got in touch with someone at YouFit, the experience was no better. I thoroughly explained my situation to Jessie, the person I spoke with (who Ive learned is now the manager), and was given the same dismissive, unprofessional response back.- Today I called to formally revoke authorization for all future debits to my bank account. Apparently, Jessie didnt understand the legal implications of a call like that, because it was essentially the same conversation all over again. So Ill be going through my bank to finish resolving this issue.Its no wonder why this company went bankrupt this year (its true, look it up). I will never recommend this gym to anyone for these reasons. So please, just do yourself a favor and look elsewhere.

Always feels like family when I walk in. Siobhan (Bonnie) Patterson is my trainer and she’s awesome. She’s committed to helping me make progress and is so supportive and invested in my workouts and training. Today after measurements she wanted to show everyone my progress and everyone else who was working either gave me a high-five or said they were proud of me. I will be forever great full and always look forward to coming in to work out and train.

Staff is extremely friendly, greeting patrons on entrance and exit. It means a lot to be recognized. Ive even been called by name when arriving at the gym. Truly great customer service. There are ample machines and wait times are little to non existent. The facility is kept very clean. Keep up the good work!

Fabian is a great personal trainer that helps push you to the limit but, also cares about your safety. This gym is affordable and equipment is well kept. Jose is also a cool staff member that helped us do our assessment.

Gym membership is cheap and is a good value for the price. Sometimes you have to wait for equipment especially during the beginning if the year and back to school. Staff are mostly friendly. They have an eco friendly toilet solution in the mens room that is annoying (no flush urinals and no paper towels). Showers are private and body wash is supplied.Edit: I had to adjust my review downward. The equipment is always broken and it takes weeks to months to fix it, the roof leaks, and there are days where the whole gym smells bad like chemicals. Check out my pictures for examples.

Everyone at this location is so nice. The equipment looks new, the price is affordable and the personal fitness trainers really know their stuff. If you’re looking for a real gym that is actually going to push you, spend the extra money. Completely worth it!

Employees are helpful, knowledgeable staff overall. Since they offer personal training it would be nice to have a designated area for that - so when youre training with someone youre not impeding on the space of others that may be warming up on their own or working out on a machine.

I get a good cardio workout. My personal trainer works with my limitations and still gives me a good workout. The equipment is up to date, in excellent condition and facility is well maintained and clean. They always have nice music and TVs to look at while working out. I get a good resistance training on the equipment and options to lift weights too. This is the nicest gym I have been to.

Showers please, see the pics. I would have given you 5 stars...showers please. $30 is the cost of a new head shower (and we pay a $30 annual fee for maintenance), those head showers have to have 3 to 4 years accumulating mold and bacteria in there and in the walls.Care of our hair and body is very important...showers please....where the water is, should be the most important part of the gym to care.Showers please....curtains are not change frequently...they have stains and mold in there...Showers please...I have taken this to notice with employees and managers...they hear you and thats it . nobody cares.Showers please...as soon as you change and take the attention the showers needs for us..I will erase this review and make another with 5 stars...Showers please.

The Gym itself is great, but there is no communication between Youfit and its local branch. Been double charged for months and have to cancel the extra payments every month. Tried to call someone hung up. Then they call to ask and say i did not pay when I have documents saying otherwise.

This place is freaking awesome! Its by far the best gym I have been to. Karlo is an amazing trainer, and I could not imagine working with anyone else. His programs are super fun, creative, and constantly changing. There is never a chance to get bored with the exercise and it makes working out really fun and refreshing. He always helps me to perfect my form and does not hesitate when it looks like I need help, even if I am not training with him when I come in. He is a trainer that cares and is geared towards helping you get results. He is very goal-oriented and all the staff will help encourage you too. Its a fun place and I am so glad I found YouFit!

I am extremely disappointed and offended with how Youfit has handled the covid19 situation. Since April, I have been charged the monthly fee for a gym that I haven’t been able to go to. Unlike other companies, Youfit didn’t even have any information on their website as to how they are handling the covid situation. There have been no emails, text messages, etc. sent to customers. NOTHING. On June 26, I finally decided to check the website again and there were finally some options on how to go about getting a refund for the months of covid, freezing your membership, or cancelling the membership. A lot of things had to be handled via telephone (which they do not pick up), email (which I don’t trust), or in person. I saw that the Altamonte location was open, although it is not close to my house. I called the location and explained my situation to Michael and he said that I could come in to get a refund. He also said that my home gym in Winter Park would be opening Monday June 29, which I didn’t believe either. When I arrived at the Altamonte location to get my refund, Michael did offer me the option of having four months credited to my account or a refund of three months. I decided to go with the refund of three months. He said the refund will take three to four weeks to process. When have you ever heard of a refund taking so long???? I asked for a receipt or documentation of the refund request (which he was handwriting on paper) and he said he couldn’t provide one. He said I would get an email once the refund has been processed. I still did not believe anything he is said because I STILL have not received any type of communication from Youfit via email AT ALL. Michael suggested that I take a picture of the paper he was filling out on my cell phone. That is extremely unprofessional and archaic. As many locations as they have throughout the state, they should handle financial business, such as my refund, on the computer. In my frustration with how the entire situation was handled, I said just cancel my membership. Michael did not question my reason for cancellation, offer any sort of apology, nor did he try to correct the situation. There should have been some sort of negotiation in order to keep me as a member. Michael was able to print me a “membership information change form” that I will keep in case Youfit tries to charge my account in the future. Although I am disappointed with how Youfit handled the covid situation, I am still upset with the increase in monthly fees they placed on my account months ago. The monthly fees increased by $2, which is not a problem; however, I would have appreciated some type of notification. Once again, I never received an email. If a business is increasing any type of monthly fee, its patrons need to be informed. I chose the Winter Park location because of its proximity to my house but I will look for a membership with another gym elsewhere. Although my real issue was with the team member at the Altamonte location, the way Youfit corporate offices has handled the covid situation over the past few months has been piss poor. Youfit has been unethical, dishonest, and needs to be investigated.

I was truly interested in joining this health club at this specific location since it is about a mile from my house. I was truly disappointed to find out they do not hold classes and are not sure when they will be equipped to do so. They directed to one of their other clubs that do hold them but that would be more than 10 miles away. I would love to give them my business as soon as they get with the program.

A great gym with pretty much everything you need. It has weights, machines a locker room and showers. Its much cheaper than its competitors and very clean and well kept.

Its refreshing to have the ability to workout without having to wait on someone else to finish a set. The gym is very clean and well maintained and the price makes it even better. Staff is always friendly and attentive as well.BTW I didnt give the gym a five because theres always room for improvement.

I come here 4x a week and have never had a complaint. There is always someone cleaning (I believe his name is Daniel, thanks!!). The staff is always friendly and the two trainers I’ve trained have been great so far. I love this location and it’s rarely packed.

I usually go mid day. Gym is always active and clean. Staff is respectful and extremelykind and personable. At times, however, they do have a habit of getting wrapped up in talking to themselves and their friends and I feel that lessens the quality of the experience. I have never had any substantial problems and Ive always felt welcome.

They dont enforce the mask mandate required by the county.

This place is way more than worth the money (10 dollars a month). Ive been to many gyms similar to this and these guys are on top of it for the most part. Possibly one of the cleanest gyms I ever been to. Anytime I go, theres always someone from maintenance just cleaning around. I wanted a stair master and months later they brought two in. Squat rack is usually occupied and they added another in. They make great adjustments to enhance the gym IMO. I have never used one of their trainers but I have watched them work and they go far beyond for their clients. The trainers are all in great shape and the most importantly, they REALLY seem to genuinely care. At least thats the impression that I get. Honestly, for the price you pay (10-20) dollars, it offers A LOT more than what youre paying for. I honestly think, if youre looking to get into working out, then this would be ideal place to start.

Ive been going to this gym for over a year now. Its a great place, the staff is always friendly and helpful if you need them. I wish their free weight area was a bit larger, like most folks, I hit it after work during their busiest times I suspect and the free weight area is always crowded. There really isnt anything they can do unless they buy out the business next door and knock out a wall. Dont see that happening though.

I would recommend trying any other gym over Youfit. This particular location has unfortunately caused nothing but trouble since I signed up.First, they require that you sign an electronic contract, but they never give a copy of that contract to you via email or paper.Second, they require you to sign up for recurring payments. I gave them a voided check to set up the account, as they requested, and they put the check number instead of the account number. A few weeks later, their accounting department called me saying I owed a fine for not paying on time. When I tried to contest it, they refused to listen to me and said my only way to avoid the fee was to pay for two months in advance.Third, their records system is appalling. This worked in my benefit at first, because I was given two workout sessions with a trainer instead of one. But it was to my detriment when months later, I tried to cancel. Even though I went in person and filled out a paper form, they say they have no record of me cancelling and have been charging me every month since.Fourth, some (not all) of their workout trainers are terrible. The first one I worked with was great, but the second session I worked with two trainers (I guess one was in training?) and they had me work out so hard that I had to cut the session short to throw up in the bathroom. No one came to check on me - they went on to their next person instead. No one offered me any assistance at all.Finally, the equipment is constantly dirty at this gym. No one cleans the equipment after they use it, and as a result I got rashes every time I went to this gym. I *never* had this problem at any other gym Ive gone to.Due to these problems, I chose to cancel my membership in 2014. They told me they would waive the cancellation fee since I had had so many problems, but instead they just kept charging me the normal gym fee. I have called them to get it sorted out, but they will not work with me.I do *not* recommend that you or any of your friends go to this gym. It seems cheap, but if you try to cancel they will lose your cancellation paperwork and just keep charging you.

Great gym for the price. I very rarely see equipment broken or unusable. The people that go to this gym aren’t loud or obnoxious like the kind I noticed at LA Fitness quite often. Everyone keeps to themselves. I love going after work on Fridays when it’s not all that busy. The only points of criticism I have are that it can get pretty hot in the gym and that sometimes it smells kind of bad throughout the gym which is pretty off putting. Otherwise I’ve had a pretty good experience so far (I’ve been going about 4 months) and would recommend it to others.

YouFit is a great gym with a FANTASTIC staff. Had to chime in because the negative reviews about this place are so incredibly clueless and tone-deaf. The folks who work here are as friendly as they are helpful. Yes, the gym is small—big deal. Had to cancel my membership due to an impending move away from the University area, otherwise I’d still be a member. Best gym I’ve EVER been to, by a mile. And it’s because of the awesome people.

Gym staff is friendly. Theyre got a pretty good selection of machines and still offer free weights. Sometimes getting a bench can be tricky, but any time Ive asked if I could jump in to use a machine or weight during someones rest period theyve either let me or said they were on their last set anyway. Could use a bit more equipment, but for a $10/month gym I cant take away a star for that.

If you’re serious about training do not come to this Gym, if you’re serious about getting results do not come to this gym, if you want to waste your time definitely come, and if you want to waste your money definitely pay for a personal trainer. This guys do not know anything about nutrition fitness and exercise science. this Gym cut hours all the time, close early, closing days that are not even holidays. I’ve been told that the gym is going to get bigger four years ago, no changes. These guys are corrupt they don’t even let me record videos in the gym but then I go on social media and all I see is the personal trainers and Gym staff videos in the gym working out, but we clients are not allowed to do so, isn’t that crazy!? I can make a big list of problems about this gym, not just this one specific but youfit itself as a company like I said if you are serious about this don’t come here.

I have been a member for 1 year and I like the place. I never had any issues until today. I believe they have to train the stuff a little more about customer service. A simple call could have solve problem. it is sad that I have to cancel my membership.

The equipment is great. But! The weight benches are cluttered together. The weight rack is 20ft away, so constantly walking across the floor to grab a 45lb plate is not okay. The gym was hot as hell. The ceiling fan wasnt even on. The place also smelled. I will only go to this location as a last resort.

Ive been here since they a couple of years ago in March, love it. Staff is always very friendly, welcoming and knowledgable. Facility is always very clean and they replace damaged equipment promptly. Only thing I would change is the hours, cant wait until the hours are extended.

Youfit of Winter Park is an awesome gym. The staff is always available to answer questions and because the gym isnt super huge it has a comfortable feel to it once you get settled in.

I mean I feel like the staff as a whole could be slightly more welcoming at certain times. For the most part depending on which YouFIT I go to by my house or the one close to my school. One has amazing customer service (closest to Full Sail), and the other one by UCF is a bit less inviting depending on whose on the staff. Really big on customer service, overall they generally do well! Its a pleasant environment, and for some one who went through a long weight loss journey and had low self esteem, I feel very comfortable at YouFIT clubs.

The trainers at this YouFit genuinely care about their clients, and they have the knowledge to help you reach your goals.I had been going to this YouFit for a few months when I was approached by one of the trainers there who asked me if I was interested in an assessment that could help me improve my lifts in the long run - and it was free, so I said Why not? After going through a trigger point exercises with Brandon, he sat me down and helped explain some of the parts of my body and how they worked together, in easy to understand terms. After talking to me about my body and what my goals were, he sat me down and explained to me the options for how to continue from here to achieve those goals with a personal trainer.The entire time Brandon was incredibly friendly and empathetic, and happy to listen to what my goals were, and then offer strategies to help achieve those goals.I had never considered getting a trainer before, but after sitting down with Brandon, he set me up with someone that put my goals first, and pushed me to reach them.I could not recommend this YouFit enough to anyone that has a serious interest in reaching strength or aesthetic goals.

OK gym for the cost. The staff is helpful and knowledgeable. Restroom and showers are kept clean. Sanitizer spray and paper towels are always stocked up. The angled plates are not ideal for performing deadlifts but you can improvise. It gets really busy after 4pm, but the gym goers here are generally nice and most dont mind sharing between sets. Dont forget to bring a towel for your bench.

I was an active member for about a year before my health got too bad but I didnt like that they didnt offer classes or have a lot of amenities that Id seen in other gyms. Im still Technically a member but that is because I cant figure out how to quit paying for it without going in person to tell them that.

This particular facility has very limited classes. Other Youfit facilities have a lot. The equipment is almost always available.

I went in to join gym, and while staff member was taking my information another staff member was talking to guest about me. the guest refereed to my insurance has Medicaid First while a person is joining a gym i do not believe staff should talk over your membership with other guest that should have anything to do with you personnel and insurance business. I am disable but my insurance is medicare part a-b not medicaid which is no ones damn business. I address the to ladies and they act like i wasnt even standing there. I will tell my insurance company not to send any of their ( silver sneakers ) program people here. Also my friend who is a disable vet was there to join after he witness what happen he decided not to join.He said hell rather work out at small apartment complex gym than deal with people here. RUDE!! I work 50 years and do not have time for some wannabes

So a few of myOther military buddies told me about this place and I decided to check them out. The site shows a 10$-19$ membership option. Says annual fees arent due up front. But when you try and sign up online it wants $53 lol nice try. I called and was informed thats enrollment fees?? I said ok well it kinda feels like FALSE ADVERTISING since not only does it NOT mention that on the site, it doesnt say what the extra $30 is for ?? What a shame honestly guess Ill hand this one over to a PR let everyone around here know what these people like to do. Scam artists

The gym has a basic amount of things you need for a workout however you will reach a level where you need more. The price is good however the university location has bad customer service. Out of the entire staff there is a small amount of people I can say are truly nice and care about their job. The head manager is the worst. He and his whole staff confronted me at the front of the gym to tell me off for so called training someone meanwhile that was my best friend who was just a guest. I pay for the higher level membership to be able to bring in a guest daily if I choose to. We were gossiping and I corrected her deadlift form one time and apparently that made it look like I was training her. It was so uncomfortable and embarrassing to have everyone starring at me. The manager told me I could go some place else if I didnt loke what he was saying because im on a month to month plan. So sad that I will have to go elsewhere now because I was starting to get into a routine there. Oh and they are extremely rude and pushy when it comes to signing up for private training. Im very fit and I do not need training and I said that, yet they pushed and pushed. They even told me to give up part of my medical care costs to get training by them! That is insane and unethical at the very least! Dont go to them if you have a choice.

Could be better. I never got my free Tshirt when I signed up which the website said was included with my $20 membership. I get there to pick up my ID tag and they didnt bother to give me a tour. The website says they offer classes like Zumba and cycling but when I asked they said the classes are not availible even though the website says they are. Starting to rethink them and why I signed up. But at least I can get my running done.

Listen, gonna give you the run-down...YouFit in general is nearly a clone of Planet Fitness. The only difference being where Planet Fitness (PF) will cater to the safe space crowd by judicious application of their Lunk Alarm and offer people free Pizza, YouFit is actually a Gym. Just a Gym. They have weights, treadmills, resistance equipment. They have showers that are rarely used because Eeew, shower in public? What if someone sees my privates!Get over yourself.So if you want access to a cheap gym that wont shame you for attempting to better yourself above people who go to the gym for tanning and free pizza, get a YouFit subscription.Just be aware their model encourages their employees to push a little training sessions at extra expense because their cheap rates subsidize a very low profit margin. Politely decline if you dont want it. Be a human. Go to the Gym.

Love my gym, and seriously its a pleasure to be greeted daily by the staff members. Nothing but good things to say ❤❤

Dirt cheap gym, and pretty large. Always really packed though.

Better than LA fitness, in a few senses. But BEWARE OF THE HIDDEN FEES!!! They will tell you that a standard membership is $10/month, but its really $15/month plus $70/year(maintainence fee) plus $20 to sign up plus $10 to terminate once your year is up. So be prepared to pay $280/year(plus tax), not $120/year like they advertise. Also there is a serious lack of certain types of equipment (i.e., only 2 benches, only 1 squat rack) so its not rare to be waiting in line for a certain station to become vacant, sometimes for up to 20 minutes. My advice after ~2 years here, is to invest in a home gym or try out a true cross-fit gym, YouFit is an expensive and time-consuming middle ground.

Dont ever sign their membership. Theyll charge a cancelation fee and keep charging and charging and charging even if you cancel.

Decent gym, but some of the equipment is outdated. Connections for phones that are at least 3 generations old now.
