The owner is very knowledgeable and friendly. They have a great selection of furniture on display and everything is in great condition or lovingly restored as close as possible. If you like mid century modern, Danish modern, space age, or anything similar, you have to check it out.

1st time purchase with Atomic Junkies in Winter Park was excellent! We love our newly purchased (set of 6) dining chairs! Steve was very knowledgeable and able to answer all of our questions -- and very helpful with shipping options too (out of state) -- and we ended up getting our items delivered right to our home. If we lived in WP wed be at Atomic Junkies every week! We do look forward to our next acquisition with Atomic Junkies, which wont be soon enough for us.

Steve’s store is well stocked and worth the trip. I appreciated the time he took to discuss what I was looking for and recommend other great shops in the area (you must see the nearby antique mall). Before leaving the area we checked out the College Park showroom and I found the chairs I’d been looking for at a fair price. Great transaction, good guy! I’ll be back.

Im giving this store two stars rather than one because they have a nice selection of vintage, or what we now call, mid-century furniture. Prices are higher than what I have been paying on the private secondary market but they do have a nice selection on display and it seems they have more in a back room. Unfortunately, after driving all the way from Lake Mary, the closest thing I experienced to help from the salesperson was a Hello when I walked in the door. The entire time I was there he was busy chatting with someone else about non sales related topics. I might try the other store. Not sure yet.

Gaaaaaah, there are a lot of great pieces here. I need to narrow my focus so Im not fawning over everything. The folks here are very helpful and knowledgeable. I will be back.

WARNING! If you are a fan of mid-century modern furniture, have a care before visiting the 2 Atomic Junkies stores. You will probably see several items that are just what you are looking for, and a number of items that you just flat out want to own even though you may not have figured out what you would do with them! Mid-century modern furniture combines art with practicality, and the owner, Steve, has plenty on hand for you to drool over. My wife and I were truly blest in that we only had to decide between 1 of 2 pieces for our immediate need. Of course, there were at least 9 other items we wanted even though they weren’t what we had gone there looking for. The piece of Danish furniture we purchased is a pure delight; it’s sort of like having a piece of art in the living room that’s not hanging on the wall. Steve is very knowledgeable about his inventory but he doesn’t “sell”. If you need a question answered just ask him; he’ll stop whatever he is doing to serve you. But these items sell themselves; you’ll know what I mean when you see them. Oh, by the way; admission is free!

They have 2 locations now and they post pictures of pieces that are available at each location on their social media pages.

Awesome stuff and well priced. High turn over so there is always something new. These pieces are pure, functional art at its best. Steve is a great guy and easy to work with. Highly recommended.

If you are in the market for legit mid-century modern furniture, this is the place to be. Everything in the store has been refurbished/refinished to look exquisite. Prices are pretty comparable to modern furniture stores, but far below what you might see at antique stores. Overall a great furniture store with a very helpful/friendly proprietor.

Topically I dont leave negative comments but I feel the need. My friend and I visited this place a week ago with the intention of buying chairs for our table at home. I found some great Herman Miller pieces here; however, not one person greeted us and even when I made an attempt I was ignored for someone else. I will not return and I love mid century mod.
