The service is excellent. from the moment you arrive at the door they are friendly and smiling at all times, the food is quite fast and delicious and not to mention the variety of wines. Regarding the environment, it is a very pleasant place where you can share both a family moment and an intimate one with your partner. Too recommended for lovers of good wine and good food. In addition, the music gives a very special touch to each moment that is spent there.
Chef is awesome! Amazing customer service and Diane finds the right wines based on you flavor profile. I loved the tortellini with brown butter sage and pecorino. YUMMmmm!
Great Wine selections. Food is fantastic. Friendly staff. New management and new Chef. Must try this place…. 10 Stars ⭐️
Must try the Piemonte Pizza with truffle oil, Fiocchi Pasta (sweet and savior), Executive Chef Luis is amazing! Also great place to order food for a party!
Had the most amazing experience. Made a Saturday night reservation for 10 people and was allowed to pre-order a bunch of apps that were timed to be ready at the same time we sat. The person who I believe must have been their sommelier gave us non-wine educated people a level of patience that deserves a gold medal. Our server was just the right amount of attentive, patient, friendly, and just all around outstanding. He did multiple things I would categorize as above and beyond. The food was amazing. Every dish was met with wow, omg and yum in the best ways.I wish I had gone here sooner and cant wait to go back.
A WINE LOVERS DREAM !!!This review is long overdue as I have been a regular for four years now. This restaurant-wine store is my happy place. The ambiance is very charming, surrounded by a great wine selection. They have live pianist and duets on select nights. They also have complimentary wine tastings on Thursday’s, and I haven’t met a wine I didn’t like! This restaurant is home of the best pizza I’ve ever had. I highly recommend the Piemonte! The service is incredible . Shout out to Alina! Not only is she super sweet and attentive, she is very knowledgeable about wine. I can’t wait to go back!
This has been our go to date night spot for the last year and a half. The pizza is really good. I have no idea what another review mentioned with “cheap ingredients.” That is simply untrue. The pizzas are wood fired, so of course they get a little black on the crusts, but they are delicious. Wine is a decent price and the food portions leave me full but not stuffed. The staff are very friendly, but yes they can be on the slower side, but that’s what makes it a great date night experience. There is no rush, enjoy your date, some wine and good food. Can’t wait to go back!
My fiancé and I have been regulars for about 4 years now and the new management has only made this place better! Our waitress Alina has been great for the past 4 years and has provided excellent service with a smile! We have had our anniversary dinner at the wine barn for 3 years and plan on continuing the tradition because we’re treated like family each time we visit. The food is to die for and the wine selection is amazing!
Super cozy and warm ambience with delicious food and impeccable service. Rarely do you get all in one place! Bring a group for a nice gathering or just have a date night with your sweetheart and enjoy their impressive collection of organic red and white wines. Special thanks to staff members Nadia & Alana for making my first visit to The Wine Barn an exceptional experience. Whatever you are doing in the Winter Park area, make sure to make this stop!
Apparently the atmosphere here is amazing because I ordered online and had a much different experience than anyone from other reviews. I ordered a caprese salad for $9 which was like 2 slices of tomato and some mozzarella cheese, it was a complete mess by the time it was delivered and not worth the price. Then I ordered the baked ziti, it was actually stuffed shells? They don’t even have stuffed shells on the menu so I’m not sure if they just don’t know what baked ziti is...Finally they forgot to pack my marinara sauce with my bread so I just had a bunch of bread with no sauce to dip.Next time I’ll order Olive Garden.
Yummy wood fired pizzas and plates. We like the Honeypeno pizza with chorizo, jalapeños, crispy shallots and honey and the Summer in Provence with arugula, chèvre, dates, pineapple glaze and caramelized onions. Alina is the terrific! You’ll spot her by her smile!
My fiancé and I have been going to this place for a few years now and WOW has the new management changed this place for the better. We loved the excellent pizzas and friendly service (Alina is 🙌) but the atmosphere always left something to be desired. But now, it’s the whole package. They could use an improvement to the reservation system and would be better if the red wines weren’t actually room temp (it’s FL - they need a tiny chill). But still pizza and service and so good, 5 stars. Can’t wait till the full menu is back - we miss the Dr. Pesto!
Excellent pizza. Love the thin crust.
We love the place... grabbing your yourself a wine bottle to enjoy with your love ones its the best 🍷❤️One of my favorite places in the city ... Lina you rock !!! Sweetest waitress everrrrrrr!!! The manager always on top ...Thanks girls !! It is always a pleasure!! We took new friends and they loved it too!!!
Todays adventure.2:00pmRead that this place made the best pizza in Florida. So I am visiting Florida for work related purposes. Opens at noon on Fridays, so I show up at 2pm and told that they dont servive pizza until 4pm. So much for the best pizza in Florida.3:45pnI came back an hour and fourty five minutes later. The lady that greeted me was friendly, and asked if she could help. I told her that I was there to try their pizza. She said we dont sell pizza until 4pm. I said I would wait the 15 minutes. Felt like Seinfeld episode with the soup Nazi.So onto the pizza. Depending which article you read, each seems to list a different place for that states best pizza. I ordered the Carne Amore. The pizza tasted good, but it was a little on the salty side and the crust was so thin that the edges were burnt. You also hadto fold it over so that it wouldnt wilt down on you.Pizza isnt bad, but it cant be the best pizza in Florida. If I had it to do all over again, I would have went to Lombardis Seafood cafe and market that is just down the road.
One of my favorite places for a nice night out and amazing quality pizza . The wine is delicious and the atmosphere has such good energy. Our waitress Alina is the sweetest and takes good care of any one she services !
Always my favorite go to place for pizza! Love the vibe and the service.
I’m convinced that their bacon Mojito pizza is the best pizza in Florida. Our entire company agrees
WOW, New owners, rest has been completely redone!! Beautiful!!Not only worldly wine selections but great food with homemade flair!!What sets this rest apart is great friendly neighborhood feel staff. Great location for after work gatherings!! A MUST TRY!!
The service was phenomenal, the waitress was so sweet. Unfortunately the food was awful, the pizza- the farmhouse, which previously was amazing, was offensive. Overly salty is an understatement. But the atmosphere is cute, wine is good. So sad ! it used to be my go to pizza date night spot
Love love love this place. Their pizzas are so creatively delicious and the staff is so friendly and inviting! Feels like a home away from home. They have free wine tastings on Thursdays and it’s become our weekly tradition😍😍😍
Great service and a wide variety of wines to enjoy. We would definitely choose this venue again for our next big gathering.
Yeah, even though website says they open at 2:30, they actually open at 4.Last time I was here @ 8pm, they ran out of pizza. This might be a cool place, but I haven’t experienced that yet. They don’t care about reviews, so this is more for the wood fired pizza folk: show up at 5pm. That might be the sweet spot.I still believe that this weird little place with a wood oven stuck on a fire rescue truck might be a magical pizza experience.Forget everything I wrote earlier.Three times is the charm with this place.I was finally able to experience this quirky bit of awesomeness.I came for the wood-fired pizza (with the oven on a fire rescue truck parked next to the building). These folks don’t care about reviews, regular hours, or updating the information on the web. This is a wine shop with a pizza oven on a fire truck in the parking lot.And the owner is a really nice guy.I respect that. This is the type of place you search for. This is the type of place you hope you will find. This place is a treasure.
OUTSTANDING!!You know that feeling when you’re craving something and you can’t have it?!Well they strongly recommended the Bacon Love Bread as a substitute, as well as the Meatballs.Oh man! My feeling of disappointment didn’t last long! So effing good! The sangria is exceptional! But listen... most importantly... their focus and concern for service is extraordinary!! From the chef, to the floor manager, to the server, to the owners (all of whom spoke to us) - their level of service is uncommon and noteworthy.Because of the combination of great food and great people we will keep coming back!!
Great food, quality service, amazing selection of wine and a cozy ambiance make this place awesome for date night.
Amazing service with amazing food! The atmosphere as well is so rustic and authentic. Food is made fresh always and the Sangria was absolutely delicious and sweet! Everything made takes time but thats what makes so amazing. One of the best restaurants Ive been to in my life! Im a picky eater and that says a lot for myself! Highly recommended place with delicious and authentic food and wine!
Awesome service, great wine, and delicious food.
I frequent this area and have always wondered this place was like so my friend and I decided to visit when she came to town. First were told its $8 for a corkage fee on bottles you buy there???? Thats not a corking fee. Service was terrible. It took about an hour and a half for us to get an appetizer (which was not great- the cheese fell off the cheese sticks so it was just bread), a glass of wine each and close out. One of the reviews says unpretentious and thats honestly the exact opposite of what we experienced. We were dressed down from errands all day and you could tell they werent pleased to have us. The woman who seemed to be the manager visited every table but ours and the server definitely assumed how much money we were going to spend. I ended up spending much less than intended for this reason. One of the women who worked there is the only reason theres two stars. She never introduced herself but she did her best to help us despite our server being absent which was greatly appreciated.
They never answered the phone and had the doors locked when I went to get take out if I can leave no stars I would
This place is truly a gem. We have been visiting for years, its its currently under new management. The new management is great and so are the servers. Its my favorite Friday night spot.
This place is amazing, I got the summer in Provence pizza and it was so delicious. Maggie our server was fantastic, she was so helpful and nice.
This place is so awesome! Gluten free pizza!! The wine selection is great too!
We went on a Saturday evening, not knowing we needed a reservation but they seated us anyway. The service was very nice. The food and wine were delicious. Our pizza had a thin crust that was absolutely wonderful and perfectly crispy. We will definitely be returning, but next time we will make a res. 😊
This is a great restaurant in Winter Park with something of a unique concept. The venue sells wine, from all over the world with wine scores and reviews posted. For a wine store, the selection is very good. But this place also doubles as a restaurant, and serves excellent flat breads. You can shop around for your wine of choice, and they will uncork for you to enjoy with dinner. Its a small venue, but worth the trip.
Good happy hour, delicious food and nice wine. What more can you ask for?
We were VERY disappointed. We selected a bottle of wine. It was served warm instead of chilled as suggested on the bottle. Then we were charged an $8 corkage fee for a screw off top. The food was ok but expensive. They lost our appetizer order and brought it after we ate our meal. My husband ate but I left hungry and went to eat elsewhere. $60 for one cheap bottle of wine, wings (that we’re served late), cheese sticks, and pizza. I mentioned our disappointment to the manager and she said she didn’t know anything about our late wings. Will not be back.
Very helpful & informative staff! AMAZING PIZZA! All house made ingredients. Great selection of wines...... But worth a visit just for the pizza alone!
Andres and his team make this wine shop/ restaurant the perfect experience for a dinner or just a few glasses of wine. He has an extensive wine selection at very competitive prices. The food is spot on and delicious. Be sure to try their true Neapolitan style pizza made with true ingredients imported from Naples.
Took my wife there for date night. Ready enjoyed the food, atmosphere, wine & staff. Our waiter Brian was great. It’s not a fast dining experience but well worth the wait. If you’re not in a hurry and would like a great laid back dining experience check out The Wine Barn
Great and often unique selection of wine! Independent owners can always order something the but stores dont carry. But this little dynamo delivers great tasting, unknown wines, at table wine prices. But all that being said, DO NOT MISS THE PIZZA. One of the best in town.
Food is great. Staff is very friendly and place is never crowded. This is my second time here and would definitely recommend to anyone who is looking for a nice place to have wine and food.
Food is awesome and of course the wine experience. My only complaint was they had one poor server attending everyone. Service naturally a lil slow but not the servers fault. Otherwise the experience was great. I do recommend coming here and Ill definitely be back
This place is wonderful! The food is delicious and well priced. They have a very large wine selection and will help you choose no matter your price range. Weve been there twice in one week! We recommend the Piemonte pizza and Bacon Love Bread
One of the best resturants in Orlando! Great wine selection and food. Staff is attentive and knowledgeable.
First visit. Great pizza. Friendly staff. Nice wine. Whats not to like? Will be back and drag a few other humans with us.
Awesome the place, the attention of the owners and the staff is incredible. The pizzas are the best. I recommend them 100%
Came in here after a long day hoping to get something quick to eat. The service and atmosphere was so great that we ended up staying for hours, drinking wine and ordering more food, which was delicious btw. 10/10 would recommend
Not pretentious, but friendly and succinct hospitality. Genuine and honest with their candid responses. Vast knowledge of wines and pleasant casual Eatery. Why go to The Wine Room, when you can sip & eat here!
Good food options. Went for lunch for snacks/pizza and wine. Wine was great gluten free pizza was amazing!!! Service was slow as there was only one waitress. Will go again and give it another shot as her customer service was awesome!
Amazing service the ladies are very nice and fun. Food is delicious and wine is perfect. Their signature drinks are very unique and tasty. Cant wait to go back.
What a cool spot. Wonderful brick oven pizza in a wine store!First off the food was wonderful. Simply amazing, great flavors, high quality ingredients, cooked to perfection, and food came out very quick despite how busy they were. That staff was also very friendly and professional. Now, because this is a wine store vs. a straight up restaurant things were a little hectic. We came in having never been there before, and waited at the sign that said, wait here to be seated, for a good 10 minutes with staff members running around us and handling wine/To Go sales/orders without acknowledging us. Ultimately I had to go up to the gentleman handling the wine sales and ask if they were seating people for dinner. Once I did that they were quick to accommodate us and had us seated in 2 minutes. Like I stated earlier the ordering and food delivery was very quick, and the food was outstanding. The sommelier was wonderful and he provided a recommendation on wine based on what we were having, and the price point We wanted to spend, however we never did get our wine. That was the only downside of the night, which the staff was very apologetic about upon bringing us our check and realizing this fact.Overall, The Wine Barn Pizza is worth the trip and the atmosphere and family style seating paired with the fire truck brick oven should not be missed. I have a feeling we were an exception to their service standard based on what appeared to be an excellent staff on a busy night, so do not let that deter you. Enjoy, and be sure to try the Kitchen Sink.
What a Gem! Pizzas were the best Ive had in Orlando. Oh and their wine selection? On point. Looking forward to coming back. Highly recommend
Very cool, casual place to have drinks and a bite to eat. The wine selection is extensive and the staff very knowledgeable. Wine prices are retail even in the restaurant so its excellent bang for the buck. My fiancée and I usually drink California reds and Andres was able to recommend an excellent French wine that we never would have tried otherwise. Pizza is excellent. While we played it safe this time we both definitely want to come back and try some of the more adventurous pies. Looking forward to our next visit!
Simply wonderful! Great wine selection, superb artisanal dining delicacies coming from the wood oven and Diana is a true hostess, always making me and my wife feel welcome. Would like to be a partner there, truly. Best, Carlos&Adriana
The place is really different, the bar is a nice place to hang and enjoy a glass of wine or a bottle. Unfortunately the staff was very slow, they said we had a 30 minute wait but we waited for an hour and nothing happened. We highly recommend a reservation and patience. Maybe we will try again another time.
I held a party here for my wife last weekend and everything was excellent. The wine was flowing fast and furiously and the food was excellent. I would definitely recommend this place for a small event of 20 people or so.
The place, the food, the wines, the atmosphere, And the service was absolutely stellar. We were treated like royalty. We had a bottle of wine, the cheese plate, and the Dr. Pesto pizza. Everything was amazing
Andres, Diana, Melina, and all of the staff do a great job. Food and wine is off the charts awesome. Well worth the visit!
Friendly staff and delicious food
Wine selection was huge and food selection was small but what they offered was truly delicious. Every. Item. Is. Wow! Ive tried them all and you cant go wrong with anything on the menu. Just wish it was open later. Also make reservations!
Great customer service!! And the food is Phenomenal. A must try!!!
Great casual spot for wine and Pizza. We have hosted small parties here that are always well received. They also tend to have nice deals on wine that you wont find elsewhere.
Restaurant meets wine shop under one roof. Stopped by on a Friday for some pizza and wine with hubs. We were going to get a couple of glasses of wine, but soon realized it was better to enjoy a bottle. They have hundreds of bottles of wine that you can enjoy with your meal (no corkage fee) with many resonably priced around $15. The are some pricey bottles too.We ordered pizza. Delicious wood fired using 00 flour.Hubs & I were the only couple dining. There were a number of families big and small.I wish the lighting were a little dimmer. I enjoyed watching My Fair Lady on the tv.We were welcomed in and the service was wonderful.
I dont do many reviews but I felt compelled for this one. I walked in and waited 20 minutes for someone to even come and great us. We had to go and find a manager to ask when we were going to be seated, greeted, or at least attended too. He brushed us off like our business did not matter. Mind you, there was a pile of at least 15-18 other people waiting in their lobby. Maybe the pizza and wine is good. But needless to say, we left. I passed by 4Rivers to go to Wine Barn. Big mistake.
Food was super good but the service was strange. I waited for 30min to order my food and it was my first time there. We got our pizza and we havent received any plates or napkins at this extravagant and exquisite wine place. Thinking that we have to eat with the paper place mate. The gentleman said sorry I was busy taking care of the other table and keep this In mind there was only TWO people dining in including me...Our server said that we do everything by the table side but ironically I had to go up to the counter and order my food because I waited for such a long timeAMAZING pizza and server but the service was horrible making me felt neglected. might do takeout next time.
Go there, Go early, be patient its busy....and most of all savor the flavor!
Not a bad place at all. However it is rather a small venue to host a gathering. Good staff and excellent service.
Great atmosphere, great quality food at a descent price.. Love their lobster pizza. Also if you are a fan of wine, this is the place to go..
I am not that much of a wine drinker. But the atmosphere is alright if you like to taste wine at your own pace type of place. It can get very crowded though. Finding somewhere even to stand and hang with friends difficult.
Amazing and unique food and great selection of wine. Very knowledgeable:)
Good atnosphere!! Amazing wine selection! Pizza needed to be crisper! But still love the place
Love this place. Can be a significant wait for food, though, even if the place doesnt have many people. If you like wine and a casual environment, this is your place.
This place was packed. Obviously popular. But we waited what felt like 10 minutes in front of the sign that said please wait to be seated and not one person came by to say, we’ll be right with you. So we left.I’ll update my review once I come back and have have someone actually talk to us
Excellent spot for great wine and delicious pizza.Customer service is great, they truly enjoy teaching about wine while having a marvelous pie. Is very unique.Try it.
The pizza, the staff, the wine... Does it get any better? I submit that it does not. Bravo!
Pizza was great. Cool atmosphere. Big wine selection. Choose a wine on the shelves and they open for you
We waited 1 hour!! For a salad!! A group of 6 people were sitted after us & they got served almost right away. On top of that, my order was not correct. Very poor service...high prices....we will never ever go back
There were 4 in our party. We arrived at around 6:15 on Saturday night. The place was not busy and most who were there seemed to be finishing up. After sitting there for about 20 minutes (did I mention that they were not yet busy), our server finally took our order. We ordered a pizza (the piemonte), caprese salad, glazed mushrooms, tomato basil soup, ravioli square spaghetti, and a bottle of Malbec. We got the wine opened right away. The waitress then came back about 10 minutes later and said that they were out of the ravioli. We ordered the Rigatone to substitute. 30 minutes later she brought the mushrooms and the caprese salad. Another 30 minutes later she brought the rigatoni....no pizza and no spaghetti. 10 minutes after that she brought the tomato basil soup. Keep in mind the person who ordered the rigatoni was the person who ordered the soup. After the waitress avoided eye contact with us for 45 minutes I finally got her attention and asked her to please check on our food. People continued to come in and continued to be served their food before us. By the time that the pizza and spaghetti got there our friend had finished her meal. Long story short we finally left the restaurant at 9:15 pm. I did talk to the owner and she was apologetic and gave us a terimasu on the house and a coupon to come back for a free pitcher of sangria. The food was good.....not fantastic by any means but the service was horrendous. Not sure it is even worth going back for the free sangria.
Great pizza and wine selection!! The gluten free crust tastes just like the regular crust but there is an upcharge. Try the meatballs as well.
One of the best artisan pies in town (pizza).
Awesome sangria....lunch tasted great and service was excellent! Will go back again for sure!
The new menu is great and staff is amazing.
Great wine selections and the wood fire pizza is amazing. Great place to have a get together.
Love thin crust pizza. You got to try Chocolate Con Jamon, hazelnut chocolate pizza. I Come yo this place every time I am here from Boston .
Ordered the Romano pizza - lots of anchovies and olives. Dont remember what type of peppers, but a little more spicy than I would have preferred but still quite yummy
Awesome food. Great enviorment and excelente service!
The pizza and wine are delicious, but it can take a very long time for the food to be ready. If youre ready to hang out for a while, then youll enjoy it.
Service and food are always amazing!
Ill start it right off by saying the pizza and service there is great. I love the pizza crust! I made a mistake when I ordered and they had now problem fixing it and even offered me a drink while I wait. I cant wait to go back.
Amazing wine variety, dont forget to try the Wood oven pizza, my favorite the “yesterista” !! Dont miss it.
