Took my daughter in for a contact/glasses eye exam. This was her first time for contacts. The doctor did a thorough exam and was nice. Kelli Akexander the optical manager was very patient/helpful/honest and I would add funny. She really went above and beyond her job teaching my daughter how to properly use contacts. She was not gonna give up until my daughter could get them in and out. She definitely had extreme patience.

Took 3 weeks to get them. My brother was not feeling well when he took me to get them, and when we got home we realized that they werent no-line bifocals.

I just wanted to get a new prescription for my contact lens. I had the same exam from this place two years ago. Both of these visits, I had the same insurance that this place would accept. I had a fair treatment last time so decided to come back. This time, they tried to charge me the price over what my insurance allows them to. Exam is covered 100% by my insurance and I would have to pay out of pocket up to $40 for contact fitting fee. However, they told me I would have to pay about $100 for exam and fitting fee after my insurance covered, which is completely wrong. Also, My insurance has no copay for contact lens, it covers up to $120 and I would have to pay whatever amount over $120. They told me my contact lens is $62 per box (I would buy 2 boxes) and on top of the balance over $120 (which is supposed to be $4+ tax) I would have to pay about $20 as copay, which is supposed to be $0. So their total charge was about $25. I told them their systems calculation is wrong. The rep manually calculated my out of pocket cost using her calculator. Her calculator showed the correct price which was about $5 total for contact lens, but she still insisted, Oh I screwed up my calculator, I dont know why my system is showing this price but this is what your insurance told me to charge you so you have to pay whatever amount my system shows. She could not even justify the charge amount but still had guts to force me to pay the unjustified price! Needless to say, I left saying I would not pay the amount that the seller cannot even justify and I will go somewhere else, bye. The people working at this place are a bunch of crooks. Do not have any businesses with this place. They would trick you with their distorted system for their pricing to overcharge you. Or they are just plain idiots who cannot read the insurance terms.

Just as stated by another reviewer, I am (or was) a returning customer. I went there after a year because I scratched my glasses and needed new ones. I had a new eye exam and I was told they were going to call me to tell me how much I was supposed to pay because they couldnt figure it out at the moment. They never called, I already scheduled an appointment elsewhere. The first pair of glasses I got from them a year ago was great though, service was way better, something happened along the way I guess.
