My first time in the store, & I was completely blown away by the overall energy throughout the store. I recomend giving yourself some extra time for exploration because the selection is so extraordinary you may get lost in there.My new favorite hardware store hands down.

Has a unique mix of groceries and a home improvement store that is nice. I have bought everything from a ceiling fan to hardwood floor to outdoor fence to groceries and a fire pit and was very satisfied with the purchase. Highly recommended.

I like this location. Its well organized, staff is friendly and they always seem to have what I need.

Picking stuff up in the back takes to long.like everywhere they need more help.

Tina in pickup was very kind and helpful. Other than that our entire experience of ordering fencing online through Menards, to checking the order status, to picking up our items was a disaster. Menards online ordering system when ordering multiple items for a project is terrible, because if some of your items come in, but the others do not you still have to pick up in a 30 day time frame. We called ahead to ensure all of our items were available, shelved and in stock. The person on the phone confirmed they were. So we went to the store, rented one of their trucks and went to the pick up area, waited, then finally received part of our order. We were then told we had to pull some of our prepaid items ourselves, only to find out the vinyl fencing posts were actually not currently in store and were out of stock. We were told they had no idea when the fencing posts would be back in stock. We had to pay a restocking fee for the items that had been stored for us. We had to return the truck and get a refund for our items. Heads up if you order online from Menards that does not mean all of your items will be in stock and available when you pickup (especially if some of your items have to be shipped from the warehouse) and some are in store, which the online ordering process does not clearly explain. We also had to pay a $65 restocking fee for the item they had on the shelves for us. Although the in store can be very helpful and nice, Menards process is overall very hands off and unfriendly.

I always love a trip to Menards, who doesnt? I find things here for great prices and then save up my 11% for another day!

Lots of inventory. Very helpful staff. Usually has a more diverse selection than the other ones. Prices are a lot of the time cheaper.

Great place for home improvement projects. You need to be self reliant when entering this place. Has many options but not everything is found easily. Their website is not reliable when it comes to searching. You have to walk 1/2 mile to find help or ask a question.

I bought a vanity online. Them get a call that there are some paint chips in the bottom because its a display. So I drive to look at it and the manager says that they keep trying to sell it but whoever put it in glued the whole thing to the wall, even the drawers. She tried to get me something for a replacement but when we loaded it the box was upside down and open. Then is also had no hardware or holes. The box was beat up and the menards guy was like this is not good.

This was my 3rd trip in the past couple of weekends to Menards. I used them to help beautify our home with new landscaping pavers.Menards had better pricing than the other retailers for what I needed.The ease of use of store pick up was quick and well organized. On top of their great prices, I also received rebates which made the deals even sweeter.

Menards is an OK store overall. I think this one is better than others because they have a loading zone where you can pull your car up after checking out.

Service was beyond poor at the lumber desk. Asked to compare a bid that I got, instead, I got a well get back to you in a few days Menards bid is cheaper with their rebate but with that Service... Ill pay a little more for good service.

Some days are good with helpful workers - other visits have felt like a sinister Easter egg hunt followed by side check out.

This place has everything. My wife loves Menards. Wide aisles, huge selection, and knowledgeable sales staff.Plan large purchases to coincide with times when Menards offers an 11% rebate.

Frustrated cant go what I want when I need it. On top of that they keep pushing this mask mandate. A may say there trying to keep safe but theres no definitive proof of that otherwise we would have it. CDC provided either. I like the employees but Im ready to go elsewhere.

Huge! Lighting section largest Ive seen.Food is a big convenience while youre there for other items. If you dont find it there you probably dont need it.

Returned a tankless hot water heater, never opened in the box. Menards charged me a $330 ‘restocking fee’. I will never shop here again.

Menards is all right for odds and ends

Went in to get a non-ferrous miter saw blade, bevause they were one of the only places that had one in stock, other than a competitor in Lyon Township. They were also 20 dollars cheaper.

Today I went to this store because the online inventory said that there were 50 of the fence post I needed in stock. When I found where they were I found only one on the rack. I asked a vestry pleasant employee for help finding them, she went off and looked it up and verified there were that many in stock and said she would get someone to help me find them. After waiting 20 minutes for help I went to find them myself in the lumberyard. I did find them but they were buried and hard to get to. So I went to the material desk where I was Informed that those were not in fact in stock but rather they had been sold. I asked the man at the desk to help me find them at another store. He begrudgingly helped to find that they also say in stock at Livonia. I asked if there was any way he could confirm before I drove all of the way over there. Seemingly as an inconvenience to him he gave me a phone number and said that I could call them myself. While I was at the desk a customer called for a quote on something and Nick’s response was he was too busy and there were too many customers for him to help. He advised the customer to look it up themselves online. (I was the only customer at the desk, there were not too many customers) he seemed frustrated when the customer hung up on him for not being helpful. This very negative interaction lead me to put all items the I had already gathered back as I was not willing to spend money at a store that not only had wildly wrong inventory, but also horrible customer facing employee Interactions.

Ill never shop here, again. After the mask mandate was cancelled on Saturday, we walked into your store, past many smiling employees who said NOTHING about our maskless faces. Until one employee told us we had to put a mask on. When I told her I didnt have one, she said I could purchase one at the desk. We were way in the back by paint and still had a lot of shopping to do. She followed us until we started heading toward the front (she ignored customers who tried to ask her questions because she was too busy escorting us). We felt harassed. Other custoers were freely walking around unmasked. She said the cashiers would NOT check us out unless masked. Well, guess what? One did. She smiled and asked about the pool toys we purchased. The sale would have been a lot larger had the other employee allowed us to just finish our shopping, in peace. That was our last sale at Menards. Your employees either know your policy or they dont.

Used to be a great location always had a good prices but since the pandemic they have been price gouging worse than Home Depot and Lowes the price on items such as copper wire is 20 to 30% more than Home Depot and they close early and their wood products are inferior to lowes home depot and lumber yards. Its not worth saving $0.03 on your Lumber to shop here so with the recent price gouging terrible customer service and lack of helping attitude youre better off going somewhere else

Great place to by socks. I often have difficulty buying socks. But they have them here. Its very nice. Kind of expensive but socks are nice. I usually wear them daily.

I ordered a runner online. When I received it, the rug was a completely different color from what was advertised online. No big deal, just return it, right? Nope. First, you have to email their customer service, no phone calls. They emailed me back the next day, asked for a picture of the rug and determined that it matches the picture online and since it is considered a special order (it is not sold in stores) it would be subject to the 25% restocking fee. For an $85 rug I would only be getting $68 back. Not happy. I will not be shopping here in the future. If you order anything that is considered a special order make sure you are absolutely happy with it.

I moved out here from the Southwest where we didnt have Menards. I was floored when I walked in. The variety they have, and the organized layout. I mean, you can still get lost, its huge, but Im not sad about it.

Better lumber and just generally better selection of everything than Home Despot.

Menards is my favorite Home improvement store, they have great products and great prices.

Friendly, helpful staff with the knowledge to help you out when required. The store is huge and stocks way more than you would expect. Other than being located on a very busy road, this place is great to waste a few hours in. Avoid any rush hour trips as traffic will be very heavy.

Clean store. Specifically went there for drinks and a few groceries.DO NOT go there if you plan to pay with your EBT card. There are not any signs posted and after 2 attempts declined the cashier said, Oh, we dont take EBT fortunately my friend was able to pay for them.I have NEVER been anywhere for food that didnt take my card. Even the Dollar Store does!

Great store for good lumber and building materials. Pricing is the same as all the big box stores. May run into a deal if youre lucky. Dont like there 11% discounts, have to use in the store, and have to send in to corporate to get the discounts. No military discounts, Lowes and Home Depot give it to you.

Going to this store has been a nightmare. We have ordered our Dakota Closets both from this location. It always says in stock, and every single time I have driven back up there after taking to customer service ensuring that it was indeed there, it wasn’t. Even since we were already so financially invested due to the sporadic accumulation of parts for said close we still decided to finish it through Menards. We finally ordered the remaining pieces online, got our email saying it was ready, indeed it was, but only after waiting in our car for over 35 minutes. They said in the email that this was the fastest and more productive way to go, lies. The staff moved super slow, and seemed to have no regard for people’s time. Super disappointed. For anyone looking to go to Menards, I would say just use Home Depot way less headache.

I wanted to replace all of the door knobs and hinges in the house and get rid of the yellow brass ones we have. I searches on 4 different websites and Menards was the least by $60. After ordering for in store pick up I was worried before I was not given a ready by date. I was afraid there w were items on backorder. Nope! Turns out the order was ready in less than an hour. I picked them up an hour later. They are now all installed without a hitch. Great service and products.
