Polish paper ad invited public for an evening of poetry. The ad did not mention a $20 per person entrance fee. Art Gallery Café is a small place with very limited seating space. On Saturday night, the place was hot and stuffy with many patrons seating on cheap restaurant style seats. I could find many places where I will gladly spend my $20. Unfortunately, Art Gallery Café is not one of them. This is not the first time I was ‘ambushed’ by their entry fees. Last time, a small blues band played at this place and the unadvertised entrance fee was $15. While many bars offer complimentary entertainment and rely on bar sales to cover their costs, it’s not the case with this place. I would not recommend AGC to anyone.

A very pleasant place. Mr. Wiesław with his wife makes sure that the guests are not bored. Cinema, concerts, workshops, poetry evenings etc. Worth seeing and maybe becoming a regular visitor.
