Economy boat store USED to be a great boat store, until they got new ownership. They will only send you what THEY want to send you, and not what you ask for. Everytime I put in a deck order, more than 3/4 of the supplies are put on back order, and you never hear from them again. If you want a specific brand of groceries or supplies, they will get you the cheapest brand and charge you for the brand you wanted. I have been towboating for 10 years and used to look forward to coming to Economy boat store. Now I hate them with a passion. Most boat stores will run to Walmart, or somewhere in the vicinity to grab the supplies that you need, Economy just says they dont have it, or like I said they will say its on back order, but will never hear about it again. Economy has locations up and down the Mississippi, and they all are the same, worthless. So if you want groceries or supplies, and you want to get what you ask for, then stay away from Economy. If your in the wood river area, try Kamelot koaches..

This boat store is interested in serving the industry for what they can get from them. They could care less about the boat crews needing personal CODS that they entrusted them to pick up because we cant just go to town and shop for ourselves. Whenever we dont receive certain items because of them not being able to find them is one thing, but not getting any CODS at all goes to prove how much they care about the crews. Service is basically none existing for crew members personal items. I wouldve rated them no stars but I wasnt allowed to write a review. This has happened to me personally numerous times and I never had said anything but not anymore.
