Super fast, super friendly, and didn’t break the bank. Loved the convenience of being able to drop my car off the night before and also I think it’s kinda fun they they have a coffee shop vibe - I’ve never seen that in an auto shop before. 😁 Will definitely go back!
So.. here’s the thing with this place. The people seem pretty nice and that’s important. Unfortunately they don’t care if they fix your car. I took my car in for a diagnostic to fix a starting problem. I was told the diagnostic was done and only the battery needed fixing. I was elated as I thought it was a major issue. But was assure just the battery. I got there and pay, as my child and I are driving off the EXACT issue I was having popped up again. I went back to the office to let them know. After that the demeanor of the gentlemen completely changed. I asked if they did a diagnostic why was this issue not caught. He rudely turns to me and asks, “well what does a diagnostic do” sarcastically. I don’t know what a diagnostic does.. that’s why I bring my car to the shop. Anyways poor customer service and they don’t care if they actually fix your car. I would stay away from this place I know I will in the future. They just don’t care about actually taking care of people.
Been customers of Lake Ridge Auto since they first opened - they’ve always been fair - never pushy - always honest and respectful. They do their best to have your car ready as soon as possible. Highly recommend them to anyone!
Lake Ridge auto care is one of the best auto centers I have seen yet in my over 30 years of owning vehicles. They are professional, courteous, honest, knowledgeable, organized and experts in auto care.They installed new high performance tires with an alignment on my BMW X5 and completed a state inspection at the same time. The whole experience was very pleasant and the changes were more than reasonable.
I’m very careful where I take my custom 350Z so, I went to Lake Ridge Auto Care to have four new tires balanced/mounted on my Z. After all they have a good reputation with solid ratings. My appointment was for 8am, I was seen at 8:30am. My new tires were delivered by TireRack and my old tires were removed from my car….so far so good then the trouble began. The technician could not figure out why my new tires would not seal on my VolkRay R30 rims? I saw that the technician was having trouble and tried to assist him but was chased away by the shop manager for insurance reasons. I told him his technician didn’t know what he was doing and reluctantly complied with his demand to stay in the waiting area. The issue at hand was VolkRay rims require reverse mounting onto the tire. This means you must turn the rim face down on the mounting machine to mount the rim onto the tire. This requires the technician to be extra cautious when placing the finished side of the rim onto the mounting studs. Unfortunately, this did not happened due to the technicians lack of experience and carelessness requiring other technicians to assist him. When all was said and done….3 hours later!!! My $900 each VolkRay RE30 Racing custom rims were damaged beyond belief with gouges and scratches all around the lug nut and center cap area from the technician slapping my rims onto the machine with no regard for the finish. Additionally, he damaged one custom VolkRay center cap using a breaker bar to remove it! In fairness, management has acknowledged responsibility for the technicians actions and documented the damages. Now comes the difficult and time consuming part of finding new VolkRay RE30 Racing rims to replace the old ones. If you have a nice car with nice rims you can understand how this is a freaking nightmare!! The ball is in Lake Ridge Auto Care management’s court to resolve this situation that has left me totally blown away!!Update - 11 Sep: The Manager of Lake Ridge Auto Care, has kept true to his word and is working with me to replace my Volk Ray wheels via Special Order from the manufacturer in Japan. Very customer service oriented team. Although it was my first time visiting, Lakeridge auto treated me like i had been a long-term customer. They were very attentive, thorough and quick with addressing my vehicles needs. Mike was kind, professional and had my car in and out in a reasonable time. I will definitely be returning.
The customer service here is amazing! I went in to get two tires replaced and it was done in half a day. I was able to drop off my car right before they closed and it was done by 10 am the next day. The staff was friendly and very helpful. I would highly recommend them to anyone with auto issues.

First time going there, my visit was to get aVa state inspection, and Emissions done. I had to wait in line for my turn, but the line went a lot quicker than I thought it would (GREAT), the inspector took my car, I waited in the nice big lobby, (there was free coffee (NICE), I wish there was free water bottles too, I’m not a coffee drinker, plus it was a hot summer day! After about 20 minutes tops, the gentleman brought me my key and I was all set! Checkout was quick too! Overall, I’m really satisfied with my visit, it was smooth and quick! Thank you, I would do business there again!
We are fortunate to have Lake Ridge Auto Care so close to home. We just needed a Safety Inspection which was done very efficiently. Staff is always friendly & the waiting area is clean.

So friendly and understanding! Came to them because it was a Sunday and I NEEDED an inspection and they had 2 inspectors on the clock, though not in my immediate area I was sooo happy to go to them! Was in line a while (understandably) but once in was finished and out really quickly!
I brought my Altima in to have three things done. An oil change, have the brakes checked. They were recently replaced and were not braking smoothly. The last thing was to replace the fog light bulbs for brighter lights. They did the oil change. They told me the brakes were good because they measured the thickness of the pads. I did not question that as they were recently done. I questioned that the brakes were grabbing and not allowing for smooth braking. As far as the lights. I was told their supplier did not have them. And I should go on Amazon and order them myself and replace them. If I wanted to do that I would have. But obviously if I brought it to the shop and was willing to pay almost $200 I did not want to do it. I have been a long time customer since before the fire. But it will not be any time soon that I walk through the doors of Lakeridge auto care.
I have been going to Lake Ridge Auto for seven years. I only trust them when they inspect your car. They are very thorough and will honestly tell you what your car needs. They have never try to rip you off like other mechanics. Lake Ridge Auto Care is a Class AAAA+ organization

I like this business. They make it very easy for me to get my inspection and emissions. They have a place for the cars to line up. You get in and out and the waiting areas (inside and outside) are neat and nice. The staff is great, friendly and answer all my questions.
Finding an auto repair place open on a Sunday at 4pm blew my mind! Best of all after only about an hour wait, I was able to get my State Safety Inspection done. Fast, Courteous, Professional!
Knowledgeable team, explains everything clearly so you can make informed decisions on vehicle repairs. They do not try to sell you on making every repair immediately which is a relief. Friendly and reasonably priced.
Great shop. I went in for an oil change and tire rotation. It took them a while but that’s fine. I will take my car there again. My only small complaint is that I had to clean handprints from the mechanic and the stealing wheel was sticky also. I am very meticulous about my car so I hope that in the future, this small detail does not happen again. Once again, I will take my car there again because it seems to me that the staff and mechanics are true professional and will take excellent care of my vehicle.
I was totally freaking out…my check engine light was on!!! I performed my own diagnostics and found a crack in my coolant reservoir. I called and scheduled a time to bring in my car. Their diagnostic test was the same, but I also needed a tuneup (absolutely agreed)! My car was repaired and inspected, as promised, and by the time I needed it! A huge thank you to Lexus, Tristan, Kevin, and the mechanics at Lake Ridge Auto Care (and, Christopher the shuttle driver)! You are amazing! This is not my first experience at LRAC…every time I have walked into this establishment I have felt truly valued and welcomed! They have turned several anxiety-laiden experiences into little bumps in the road with their professionalism!
Elijah was nice to me. My appointment was at 7:30am, 08/04/21. I asked for the hood release lever to be fixed along with checking my struts and shocks amongst other things. I received a call close to 5pm that my car was ready with an oil change and a list of things needing to be done to it. I said thank you. I got my car key and found my car with a partial flat on the front passenger side with my check engine light. Regards, James
Awesome service and staff!!! Have been coming here for years and they have never tried to upsell me or my wife. Appointments are must as they are super busy and walk ins take a long time. They do VA inspections for emissions and safety and there is always a line...but it moves pretty fast. Highly recommend.
What a rip off! I brought my car for diagnostics and computer gave no error codes (car was still running, just in need of fluids), they charged me $150 for literally doing nothing and insisted I get new transmission for $5,200. I regret going there and paying $150. They see a woman and take advantage, very dishonest. Of course, I didn’t do any transmission replacement and took my car for service for a fraction of the price.stay away! They force unnecessary expenses onto you.

After waiting in line for a little over an hour an a half, the mechanic came out and took my car into the bay for a state inspection. The inspection was complete in less than 15 minutes, I settled up with the cashier and I was on my way. The mechanic and cashier were very polite, professional and courteous.While I understand inspections are not much of a money maker for LRAC, a little extra customer service (like adding another mechanic when the line of cars waiting on inspections is 4 or more) would go a long way.
Other than the wait (2.5 hrs ) the inspection and emissions tech was very polite and efficient. I highly recommend going during the week and mid month. Not the day after your inspection expires like I did!

I didn’t pass inspection bc of one tire, but they didn’t try to talk me into anything, which I always appreciate. They were honest about my emission test --I passed, but in 2 years, it likely would not, yet still didn’t try to sell me a repair of some kind. I like that—honesty without pressure. I’m getting another car very soon, so I will pick up a used (?) tire, but making a repair for emissions? Meh! 😉

Made an online appointment last week for this weekend using their online website. I picked a primary and a secondary date and received a confirmation email. We went on vacation and when I got home the day before the first scheduled appointment I called to make sure everything was ready for me to bring the car tomorrow. I was told there’s an issue with the website and no appointment was booked but I could drop it off in the morning and maybe we’ll get to it? Nope sorry, lost customer if you have a known issue with your online booking site you should make that clear to your customers.

I have been here a couple of times and the experience has been great. My recent visit was for a check engine light issue. Marcella called me and informed me of what the issue was and provided a breakdown of the cost. She was able to get my car done the next morning and left me a voice mail informing me it was ready for pickup. I had an issue with my payment for some reason the initial charge didnt go through so I had my card swiped again. I notice my bank had 2 pending charges and called Lake Ridge Auto back. Kendel was polite and followed up with my concern. He left me a voice mail informing me to check my statement and if it does double charge to let them know. I am happy to say I did not get double charged. I appreciate all the communication and time the staff provided as well as getting my car back in a timely manner.

They were very communicative about the whole process, from the ladies at the front desk, to phone calls regarding what my car needed, and a prompt call that my car was ready. I was thrilled that they could take my car and get it fixed on Memorial Day. It was a huge lifesaver! They are also reasonably priced.
I made an appointment online, but was told their computers arent on the same system. That meant I didnt have an appointment and had to wait almost 2 hours for the service I thought I had booked. The work that was done was excellent, though. The company needs to update their appointment booking site.
Outstanding customer service! After finding this place I don’t go anywhere else for my car’s services. My last appointment was just for a routine oil change but by the end of that appointment Adam and his team also replaced my key fob battery and patched up a tire for me.

We have been going to LRA for almost twenty years. They have always been great to us and charge very reasonable rates. They worked with our AutoMx program too. We did not have to do anythijng except tell them. Highly recommend.
Awesome experience with this shop. The work was fast and price was appropriate for the work performed. The guarantee is 3 years or 36K miles which is some of the best in the area. If there is one thing that would need improvement is there availability. I was told to come back the next day due to them being super busy. Annoying but the work was worth the inconvenience. I will be coming back if I need more work done, that is saying a lot from a guy who prides himself in doing all his own car repairs. Keep up the good work guys!

Everyone here was extremely nice from the moment I pulled up to get my emissions test. Khalid even bolted my new license plates on and popped some new wiper blades on free of charge. At the front desk everyone was equally as nice from Elijah and another girl whos name I didnt get, but whom Id also like to recognize for giving outstanding service. Im actually going to bring my car back to have lake ridge do repairs. I was also completely impressed by all their covid safety measures. Its refreshing because Ive worked in customer service for years. Everyone here really cares about the customer and it shows!!! 5 stars and 10/10. I couldnt be happier with their service!!!

This team has been super nice, professional, and understanding every time weve gone in for something, consistently over the last couple years weve visited, even just for state work. And when we had a ton of big issues with our truck Doug was upfront, honest, and clear about what they thought we should do about it. This is officially our go-to place for vehicular care from now on.
I moved to the Woodbridge area in January 2020 and needed a Virginia Auto Inspection, I found the Lake Ridge Auto Care online to do the Inspection. The Inspection line moved quickly and the personnel were ever so pleasant. So today I returned to get my car Inspection again since I had overlooked that my Inspection was overdue. Again same great service at the Lake Ridge Auto Care Center!
Came here for inspection on a sunday midafternoon and I was greeted by Mike whom was very courteous and helpful! The front desk took care of me quickly and wasnt pushy about extra services. The waiting room was pristine with ample amounts of coffee, snacks, water, and toys. Parking was packed but there is a line sign for inspection so it was quick. Overall an excellent experience for a random shop I picked for the weekend needed trip.
The personnel was outstanding, particularly a young at the counter yesterday who help me carry my wheels into the lobby and help bring them as well. Thank you for your great customer service. I apologize to the young woman for not remembering her name, she really left an impression on me.

They always get me in and out in a timely manner, provide a wide variety of services, and the prices are reasonable.
For 10 years now; the most consistently fair place to get my vehicles inspected. I am a mechanic, therefore do my own work, and stay away from shops that do not behave professionally. With over 40 years of mechanical experience myself, I know when I am taken advantage of, and these guys have never given me a reason to question their professionalism.

Great service. Quick turnaround. Service reps are very polite and personable, both on the phone and in person. No drama or back and forth about what needed to be done. They listened to my experience of the issues, suggested the appropriate diagnostics and went to work. Their service staff was prompt, kept their word and gave several updates thoroughout regarding my daughters car, informing me of process and cost along the way. All of this was within 6 hours from dropping the car off and my service was engine related. Oh and they were busy. They were just generally on point.The feel of the car after the repair is night and day.
Professional service, quality work. Prices seem a little steep at times. Paid $650 for a transmission flush on a 2017 Chrysler Pacifica. Explanation. “The fluid is expensive” 🤔
The main hose attached to my coolant reservoir sprung a leak and I need a quick fix. I was glad that LRAC was able to get my vehicle in same day and dropped off my car at around 0730 Wed. However I was very surprised to see that an additional request for a diagnosis on my engines idle speed would have been ANOTHER ~70 dollars on top of the ~$70 for diagnosing my coolant problem.I was called same day and told that the reservoir also had a crack near the hose and would need to be replaced. I was told that the parts would be there next day (Thursday) and available for pick up either Thursday or 1st thing Fri morning.I didnt hear anything from the shop all day Thursday and after calling first thing Friday morning was told that, surprise, the parts had not come in. My vehicle was not ready until approx noon on Friday. I asked to see the reservoir and the staff were not able to show me any cracks in the area where I was told there would be.Long story short, if I would have known this would have taken me out of pocket the rest of the work week at the prices I was charged (excessive in my opinion), I would have done the repairs myself or gone elsewhere.
I had my Honda CR-V two front tires replaced the other day for emergency because of the snow. This place seems always have the right tires in stock at their warehouse for every vehicle. The front staff are friendly and welcoming specially the manager who patiently took his time explaining to me in details concerning alignment. Also, they have a big clean waiting room unlike other places are mostly clustery. I will definitely come back here again. And I highly recommend this place!
You forgot to add air to my tires which was part of the reason I made the appointment. It was listed on the ticket.
The front desk staff are Wonderful; Respectful, Friendly and Knowledgeable. The Technicians are Top Notch~!! Both times I have had my vehicle in for much needed repairs, everything was done perfectly the first time, to include a complete explanation and understanding of price. They worked on my vehicle yesterday the 15 Feb 2021, and another Awesome Experience. Prices are great, right on point. Ill be back in a week for more attention to my SUV. Say what you want about these guys but they do a good job! All the mechanics are helpful and friendly! You come in for an oil change and they will give you a run down on the immediate things you need to fix. Theyll give you a quote and everything! Some my say its pricey but I rather take my car here than Jiffy Lube who destroyed 2 of my vehicles! Keep it up
Called three different times for a quote on installing brake lines. Each time the receptionist said they will get back to me after they talk to a mechanic and never called me. Took my business elsewhere to another shop who immediately gave me a quote and install same day.
Went to get an emissions test. Service was incredibly fast and every staff member I talked to was friendly. Will definitely be coming back for future services.

Best place in town to go for an expensive emissions lecture from a mechanic who lives in Fauquier County about how I should move out there to save money. Why stop there? Why dont I just move to Mars? And then they held my car so I had to pay the late fee. Save your time and go ANYWHERE else!!

I’ve found my forever service shop. I used to hate having to get service work done but not anymore. Adam, Edward and Ricky are the best. They were friendly and knowledgeable. The service is high quality and affordable. I’ve used them before for brakes and had the same excellent experience so it wasn’t a flute. This is the way they do business. I highly recommend them.

This place is wonderful! Service is above and beyond and the interior is so clean(covid-free) and kid friendly! They have a complimentary coffee bar and the aesthetic is almost akin to a coffee shop! I absolutely love this place and will be going here from now on for inspections! They even have sanitizing stations equipped with sanitizing wipes!
