I prepaid and ordered a medicine ball rack. I called and the rep confirmed that my order had arrived to the store. I informed the rep that I would come pick it up the following day after the rep stated that he would mark the item for me and it would be waiting for my arrival.I traveled 45 minutes and upon arriving to the store, and without knowing who I was, the rep on duty informed me that only one item was there and it was awaiting pickup by another customer. I gave the rep my information and he stuck to his guns that the item was not for me.I was stunned and upset by the lack of customer service and company organization. I feel like I was the subject of ‘bait & switch’. I would advise anyone reading this article to not waste your time and money dealing with this company (Johnson Fitness & Wellness) located in Woodbridge Virginia.

Bought a 4k home gym in July 2020 and was told it would probably arrive in September. September came and nothing. I had to call and ask and complain every month to finally get part of the gym delivered just before Christmas. They told me the leg press would arrive in January. Guess what? No leg press. Now every time I call they use COVID as an excuse for not having the leg press. Now it has been 8 months and I still dont have the full gym. Not once have they reached out to me to give me a status update.

So with this review, i’m not only detailing how awesome the customer service was I am also going to detail how amazing the power rack is that they are now selling. I can’t remember their names to save the life of me but they both were awesome. The power rack however is holding up tremendously well. They now have in stock a full power rack a half rack, and a squat rack. Along with those they have tons of benches, amazing treadmills, and plenty of various sorts of training equipment. Those that are in the NOVA area, and you’re looking for a rack, head over there for amazingly priced equipment!

Possible Bait and switch. Right now thats how it looks, hopefully it changes. Ordered treadmill Jan 11th, estimate given over the phone was 4-6 weeks - early Feb. Called today (25Jan) now its 4-6weeks from today so thats end of Feb at best. Therefore recommend avoid until they get a better handle on supply issues. Hopefully they honor their pledge to make delivery and assembly free for the inconvenience. Theyre polite at least.

DO NOT SHOP HERE. These positive reviews are clearly fake bc my friend experienced the same things I have. And saying they are knowledgeable on fitness is a total joke. I am a trainer and a body guard to various rap artists. Im good at what I do and the guy at the store looked like he would get hurt just attempting to workout. customer service in the store is terrible we were ignored for about 30 mins. spent over 3k in August and were told mid October delivery. Now it is November 1st and we are already on our second payment with the financing. received no phone call with any update so I called them. Now they are saying early December and made zero attempt to make things right. Absolute garbage. AVOID WASTING YOUR TIME AND MONEY.

Great shopping experience at Johnson’s. Vinny helped me find a much needed 50 lb KB. Highly recommend this awesome store for anyone looking for fitness equipment. You won’t find a better associate who really wants to help you with your fitness goals.

Friendly staff, easy process, but never received the treadmill may I purchased that was on back order... ordered on Mother’s Day, it is now July...
