Good place to get new tools at a reasonable price. Some of the shelves were not stocked well. Not sure why inventory was low. But i found what i needed for a good value. Wish it was larger like the one in Fredericksburg with more selection

Their items are at an affordable rate. Not over priced. Always has the items I want, except for a short time there when I wanted latex gloves. It wasnt that they were out of stock, Harbor Freight donated the entire shipment to the first responders during the early onset of COVID-19. I was very grateful and thankful for that.

Asked if they carried an item and they told me to look it up.Asked if they could, as I was driving and they have both the database and website in front of them. They said no. Very opposite of helpful

Harbor Freight is a convenient option for DIY cheap tools (NOT good tools). This location is not the place to receive decent help from staff, if you can even find them on the floor. They might as well have robots present, just to cash out customers. I spend a lot of $$ in HF, weekly. The female manager seems to have a very low quality of character. Stores like such usually dont provide their staff with adequate living wages while increasing their work demand, so dont expect a smile out of anyone other than the armed security guard.

The Manager Ed here is so rude. Received a 10% off coupon for an any air compressor. Drove all the way to the shop to purchase the item. For some reason the system would not accept coupon. And the manager made sure he did nothing about it and told me call customer service.

Excellent place. Tools are great priced for weekend warriors or for anybody that needs them. Customer service at the Woodbridge store is always great.

Absolutely 100% unhelpful staff asked one associate for help and he said he (Erik) knows nothing and to ask someone upfront and then went on to help someone else. Staff is chatting in the back and not helping customers, recommend to go to another location where staff is not rude and want to help customers!

Courtesy and efficiency. Even though there was a line due to restrictions from COVID-19 it didnt take long to get through the line.

I purchased a car battery charger from here 4 days ago. Straight out of the box, the charger didnt work . I took it back and exchanged it yesterday and asked if I could plug the new one in to ensure it worked before I left the store. I was informed that the companys policy stated they cannot allow items to be tested before purchase. I brought it home and low and behold, the new one didnt work either. I returned back to the store today for a complete refund. The cashier asked me if I would accept a gift card and I informed her that I just want the money put back on the credit card I used for the payment. After trying over and over again and getting assistance from the manager, he informed me that they had to put the refund on a gift card or give me half cash and half gift card. I didnt want that, I just wanted the refund put back on my original charge card. He said that because their system flagged this as a second return, they couldnt put it back on my card. This makes no sense! I could see if I was asking for cash but I wasnt, I just wanted it returned back to my card. Lesson learned: if youre going to exchange an item, get your money back and buy it again if you feel lucky.

Make sure you keep your receipts, they want help you at all without one. Kind of rude as well.

This place is awesome with everything you didnt know you need and then some. Topping that is the fact the staff is upbeat friendly and super helpful. I will definitely be back next time I need that special tool for that one off job, Low prices for the win

Going into Harbor Freight Tools was like going into a hardware department at Lowes on steroids. I wasnt prepared for the depth and breadth and variety of things that they had there and its probably a good thing that I didnt go in there with a credit card that had more of an open credit line than I did! I can see that Im going to have to work on avoiding the temptation of going back there too frequently...

Off Brand Name tools, but theyre less expensive, and usually no long lines.

Cheap prices, great tools. I use their tools professionally and they hold up every bit as good as my tool truck tools, and in some cases better!

This place is awesome. Just a bit difficult to navigate and find stuff. The staff is limited and diffficult to find to help. The checkout lines are huge ( says a lot os positive things about the place) but they cam open more counters to get people checked out faster. Overall a great place to buy tools

Cheap tools from china. I dont really buy tools there unless I need a specialty tool that I expect to last one time. Prices have gone up. For tools, you are better off buying the lower end stuff at HD or Lowes. I do buy rags, cheap tarps, disposable stuff like that at HF. I get tons of cheap batteries for my kids toys. That way Im not going through my name brand batteries for toys that are fun for a week and then go in a box for years.

The tools are good for what you need and for the price, but you do NOT need the poor customer service they provide, very rude, do not help or answers questions, have to go to the manager for simple questions to be answered. Some employees make you feel not welcome at the store, if you have an accent or look foreign, some employees treat you different, i have witnessed others been mis treated and i have been treated unfairly at this Woodbridge location. It’s like a more cost effective home depot but doesn’t have everything, but the things it has are way cheaper even when you buy a two year warranty with it. Make sure you keep your receipt since they couldn’t find some of my purchases when they looked it up through my phone number for warranty exchanges

If you need to return an item make sure you just return it on its own transaction. Because if you buy something else and need to return it they’ll give you a gift cardI bought a come along it was broken New out of the box. Ended up being able to squeeze my truck into the location so ended up not needed it so I returned it, and bought a set of snap ring pliers on the same transaction. Got home and the snap ring pliers weren’t able to do the job they needed to do should have bought the ICON kit or Snap one’s like I ended up using at my buddies. Again I returned them and bought some hose clamps. The lady gives me the left over balance on a gift card.

Found what I needed but very small store. Clean and friendly nonetheless.

What a great place for real tools for real applications! We were in need of a chain hoist which few big box stores carry anymore. They are available online but when you need a tool, you need a tool! While in the store, we saw hydraulic lift tables that not only better for the job, but were on sale as well! Zack the salesman and Sam the security guard were most helpful and allowed us to test the one they use in the store for their needs. We will definitely be back! Thank you both very much!!!

The Woodbridge Store has the worst customer service ever. The management do not care about the customer shopping experience in the least bit. I’d rather spend a little more money going to Home Depot. At least I know I’ll get my question answered and not feel like I’m bothering them.

A cool place should one ever need tools inexpensive. They carry virtually everything from batteries to rolling toolboxes and more. One can get lost for hours in there.

They offer the highest quality tools that money can buy, (for 25 cents on the dollar). If you need a tool for a job this is the place to buy it, but not if you use those same tools to make a living. They have saved my behind more than a few times with affordable tools when they comparable would be three or four times more expensive, especially if I didnt need it cuz I was only doing one short job with it. I try not to buy Chinese whenever I can but harbor freight makes it very difficult to do

I can not state my dissatisfaction with this coorperation strongly enough. On multiple occasions I have looked on the website, and planned a purchase of an item that has a listed quanity of two or more, only to findout once I arrived at the location [Wodbridge] that they only have the floor model in stock. The first two times this occured I spoke to the store manager, explained the issue, and requested that they provide the floor model in place of the erroneously listed in-stock item on thier website. The manager stated that company pollicy profibited the practice of selling the floor model. When asked about the website error the manager at the Woodbridge, VA location stated that the companys website had been experiencing stock issues for years, and it just wasnt something that they could control, or frankly cared about at thier level.Conclussion:1. Harbor Frieghts automated inventory is intentionally rigged to lead customers to belive that an item is in stock when it isnt.2. The local store managers treat customers apathetically.3. Harbor Frieght does not go the extra mile to satisfy the customer whe they are in the wrong.

I came here today and was purchasing a few items. I bought a glue which was on sale for $1.99, but it got rung up as $2.99. I told the cashier and she goes no its not, so I told her that I can go take a picture for her so she can change the price and she goes no I dont need a picture, let me call the manager. Her attitude was extremely rude. Next the manager says no Im SURE its $2.99 and Im like no I read it myself its $1.99. So the manager makes a face and spoke so rudely. He then sees the price is $1.99 and goes ugh we need to change it. Basically its not the dollar that matters, but the fact that they were so disrespectful and did not care at all about customer satisfaction. It was their mistake the price was wrong and they didnt want to admit to it. Just ruined the whole experience for me. Ive gone before and had to deal with a simple attitude, but coming from the manager was very unprofessional.

Always good prices on China made tools. Shelves are always stocked and the employees are normally pretty helpful. A good place to buy tools that are seldom used, I would not buy a tool there if it was going to get daily use.make sure to sign up for their email sale ads so you always have a 20% off coupon.

The only good thing about HFT was that they were cheap. Now they are pricing things more than the big home stores, but the big home store stuff is higher quality. I will continue to buy stuff from HFT, but not like before.

The place to go for tools. Theyre inexpensive, not cheap. May not be Snap-On, Craftsman, or Husky but theyre good tools @ 1/3 the price. I always check Harbor Freight before I go to Lowes or Home Depot

They stock most of the stuff on their sales ads. The people are nice and will go out of their way to get the correct items that are actually on sale - some items look the same and you might grab the ones that are not on sale. Will keep coming back here to get my HF goodies..

I have always had a good experience with harbor freight, but today when I went I look at the open times infront of the store and it says after the 18th, they will close at 5 on sunday, when theyre regular closing time is 6 and today is the 17th so they should still have regular hours according to the signs they have out in the front. I arrived at 540 and they were already closed

Called the store and spoke to them to make sure they had a floor press in stock. They told me they had 7 in stock. Drove 45 minutes to purchase one and they dont have any available to purchase. Supposedly they are missing parts so they cant sell any of the 7 they have.

Great place, my go-to for tools. Staff is friendly and helpful. Youre sure to find whatever tool you need here, and many of them come with lifetime guarantees, so if your tool breaks down from use, just bring it back and theyll replace with a new one. They also have great sales on their already great prices from time to time, giving you even more bang for your buck.

Great deals on some awesome products. The only downside is that you really have to know what you need because there is zero customer service. I have a ton of gear from them and will continue to shop for tools and supplies here first for years to come!

We love tools so the place is fun. There are regular sales and frequent freebies of surprisingly high value. Not the highest quality merchandise, though. But they work.

Wasnt that impressed. Always wanted to check one out after getting the flyers in the mail all the time. Maybe it was this particular location but it was small and not well stocked. Staff was friendly and helpful enough but, again, I was a bit disappointed. I think Walmart or the larger Auto Parts stores have as much interesting stuff and probably just as inexpensive and as good, if not better, quality.

I go to HF because of the prices and this is the closest store. But I dont like this place because the staff and associates are very unhelpful. They are always busy (or just pretend to be busy) and reluctant to show customers where to find things they need. You have to look for them by yourself and sometimes give up because you cannot find them, waste a lot of time. The store manager should be aware and fix this otherwise customer will go away.

As a former Harbor Freight employee, I was appalled at the level of chaos and disarray the store was in. A lot of items out of stock, carts in the aisles, tools on the floor, display tools haphazardly strewn about their displays. The employees were just standing at the registers talking amongst themselves. It was not a good experience. I quickly made a beeline to what I went there to purchase, didnt look any further I went right to the register, made my purchase and left.

Bought a welder & got a flashlight .who could ask for a better deal than that.
