Purchased a mattress from the Davis location right before it closed.m in Dec. 2019. Annoyed that my mom bought the exact same mattress at the Woodland location a few weeks later but she was able to bargain $400 less than what I paid. Well we both ended up hating our mattresses. My mom exchanged hers but then also hated the new one she got. I didn’t realized they were still open during SIP and their 3 month exchange policy expired for me. My mom was again able to negotiate something with them but I’m SOL because they told me they’d do nothing for me. I have been sleeping on the floor since 3 months after buying this mattress. My back hurts like no other if I do sleep on it, to the point where I feel I have breathing problems. Matthews could care less telling me they will lose money. Do not feel bad for the little mattress stores and feel the need to buy local. This is the worst company I’ve ever dealt with and I will only be purchasing from reliable companies going forward.

There was no pressure to consider a bed other than what I was looking for. The price was not inflated; i.e., no extra charges for delivery or a mattress protector.

This was the easiest and most relaxed purchase. Justus our salesman is great and explained all the different features and costs. We ordered the bed and had it delivered the next day! We are amazed at the great service. The delivery men were prompt, and knowledgeable to explain everything Great experience.

My experience at Matthew’s Mattress was a good one; the stress of making a large purchase was mitigated by the expertise and trustworthiness of David Wood that helped me throughout the process of choosing a bed. I am extremely happy with my bed, it is the bed that was comfortable for me and the knowledge David had during the process expedited my finding the exact bed I wanted. I would 100% recommend these stores and the staff.

Chris was very helpful by asking the right questions to make sure we were looking at the right products for our needs. A very large selection to choose from and same day delivery. Felt very confident with our mattress choice but Chris assured us if we didnt like it after 30 days it can be swapped out for a different firmness. Price was very good compared to similar product of national chain. Locally owned and operated.

I went to a few spots to compare prices but decided not to look farther after checking here. The prices are very reasonable and it was the first place that didnt try to push me into a sale. Although I live in woodland, I enjoyed working with David so much that I drove to him in the Davis store when I wanted to buy my parents a mattress for their birthdays. Amazing customer service. Went it just browsing the mattress selection but the sales staff went out of their way and really helped making purchasing easy. I would definitely recommend and they also were able to provide same day delivery which was awesome!

David went to exceptional lengths to assist me, first sending a team out to see if I needed a new base for my mattress or just a new remote, and second rescheduling the mattress delivery for later the same day as originally planned when my schedule changed that morning. My husband and I went into Matthews Mattress last week and were treated really well. The salesman at the Woodland location was not pushy at all - he showed us all possible ones in our price range, informed us about coils and gauges and what those terms mean.We ended up coming back because the mattress was more comfortable than others we tested out in the area (Tahoe - Matthews Mattress) and the delivered product was exactly like the one at the store (not harder, which Im happy about) and delivered same day! Expectations fully met.

We had the best experience ever!! The manager Ronnie was down to earth and really helpful without being pushy at all! All in all 10/10 and we will definitely be doing all our shopping with him.

This location is new and not completely set up but it is operating in a very professional way. Justus was in charge and was very helpful and really knows the products! We were very plaesed.

Great prices, customer service, and warranty. We had a box spring that started to fall apart. We called them up, set up an inspection, and got a new box spring in less than a week. Our mattress is still going strong and it’s just as comfortable as the day we got it.

Nice staff and amazingly wonderful bed. I purchased a Cashmere model bed here as part of the Chateau Collection by Stress-o-Pedic. Never heard of the maker before but it definitely has been one of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept on. 20 year warranty when I bought it. Matthews Mattress is one of the only dealers around for the company that I know of.

What a wonderful experience we had at Matthews Mattress.Came about 30 minutes before the store was supposed to close, our salesperson JUSTUS was amazing. He took his time and explained everything to help my 11 yrs old son pick the best mattress for his sleeping style .Once we narrowed down the selection of mattress to just two, he never pushed us to buy the more expensive bed, he explained what is the difference in style, and what each bed was made of and special features they had....Told us I can have your bed delivered by tomorrow, ( for free ) they have both in stock.Once we selected our matress, the paper work was a breeze.He even gave all of us otter pops, as a special treat, on a hot dad....I had the best experience at Matthews Mattress, I will definitely be back when Im looking for a mattress in the future, and will be telling all my friends to ask for JUSTUS when you go in he is great.P.S. Awesome store, staff and beds!There aren’t many businesses these days that value customer service or customer satisfaction like this store does. Ronnie gave us a great deal on a mattress we purchased in March. He even threw in a free bed frame. I chose a bed that my husband thought would be too soft for us. It was extremely comfortable, but he was right, it was a little too plush. I felt bad exchanging the bed, but Ronnie made the exchange effortless and guilt-free and reminded us that’s why they had a comfort exchange policy. He took the time and effort to make sure we got a bed we would be really happy with. And boy, are we happy with it! This time around he even threw in some free Tempur-Pedic pillows with our new bed. Last time I went into Matthews Mattress in Davis, I was immensely delighted by the customer service given to me by Dave. Dave was thoroughly helpful. He sat down with me and asked me what it was I was looking for exactly, and gave me great tips and what would be most beneficial for me. Very friendly & LOCALLY owned (& operated with dreams of expanding!) They delivered the next day and set up the bed for us about an hour north of woodland! Very comfy bed too!!

My boyfriend and I recently came in just to look at mattresses, as Ive been using the same mattress for nearly 10 years. Its a very old, very used, very uncomfortable mattress and for the past month or so, I had been thinking of looking into getting a new mattress. I was in the area and decided to go in and check some beds out, not actually thinking I was going to purchase anything; HOWEVER, Ronnie was so incredibly helpful!! He listened to our concerns, was attentive to what we needed, and directed us to the Tempurpedic ProAdapt Medium Mattress, and as soon as we laid on it, we were in love!! We purchased it right then and there, along with some Tempurpedic pillows, and we are so beyond happy that we did. We purchased an amazing bed and pillows for an unbeatable price!! We did not come in with the intention of purchasing, but with how awesome Ronnie was, and how truly helpful and attentive he was, we were blown away to find our perfect mattress, and were so excited to buy it that same day!! We have been loving the sleep weve been getting on it, it truly is like nothing else. We are committed Tempur people now, and will never buy another mattress aside of Tempur in the future, and to add to that, we will be doing all of our mattress shopping at the Woodland Matthews Mattress location with Ronnie!! He had absolutely outstanding customer service, and made us feel confident and comfortable with our purchase.
