First trip to the Woodland Costco, first stop was to gas up, ⛽ regular unleaded gas was $3.89 today. The store was a typical Costco, notably today was excellent produce and seafood, they had camping and outdoor gear on display, and they had a wonderful selection of wines and adult beverages. An awesome place, member for 3+ years. Mostly friendly staff, some minor issues here and there but all mostly helpful and cheerful in the process. As for the splendid samples-food tasting is slowly opening and many aisles have bars for tasting again. Mask policy is not strict and overly dramatic like other places. As for the choice in produce, many items are available. General produce and household items are available mostly all year round. As for specialty items, its good to wait when the already great prices fall even more down. Overall, nice place and selection is spectacular. Prices are affordable and reasonable as well.

I dont understand how Costco brag about their unbeatable pricing, yet their meet price is higher than co-op? ( $21 per pound ribeye steak in co-op which I concider it pretty high, compared it to $25 per pound Costco)

I live in Dixon and could easily go to the Costco in Vacaville or Woodland. I choose to go to the one in Woodland because it is typically less congested than the other. Its just as big and carries all the same items. If you have to go to the returns lane/customer service counter, you will spend less time in line here as well. The store is clean and the checkout lines are fast. Theres even several self checkout lanes as well.

Very poor selection, no books, magazines, spices very few! Also no eggs or milk! Living 90 minutes away Ill try my luck with one in Sacramento. The staff though was very polite and helpful!

This Costco is the best one that I have been to, so far.

The big difference is that the customers are local people who are polite, kind and friendly. Otherwise just a normal Costco but decent people who will offer to help my handicapped mother get some products of the shelf. Folks will just start a conversation with you for no reason other than to be cordial.

No toilet paper today only paper towels. Samples are back. Pumpkin bread is really good but I took off the cream cheese and shaved chocolate.

I am their favorite type of shopper-IMPULSIVE.Many products are brilliantly priced.My budget cant endure the impulsive purchases that arent as reasonably priced and i am solitary so bulk does not make sense, savings or not!My dog requires the pharmaceutical savings for his expensive adrenal failure medicines.Thanks costco,!!!!

Costco has much better deals, and what would take multiple trips to pick up only takes one trip. Easy to shop even during COVID-19 with handy online ordering and to-your-doorstep delivery. Store is easy navigate and very friendly staff.

I love shopping here but this is disappointing honestly they need to check the products that they let be returned i got shorth handed 15 dippers one of the packets was opened at the bottom and placed back the right way but it is clearly noticeable that some are missing

Really like shopping here. The layout feels different than in other Costcos, but if youve shopped in any Costco then it should still feel familiar. Staff are very friendly and overall experience was enjoyable

Anyways a good time going here. I do wish they offered a bigger variety of coffee companies.

This is the best Costco in a 100 mile radius. They are not as insanely busy as the other stores in the Sacramento area and most of the employees seem a bit more personable than elsewhere. They resolve issues swiftly and fairly. I enjoy shopping here frequently.

Find Tony the elderly man that works offering samples and say hello what a joy he is.. and dont forget to ask him about OZZY OZBOURN!

They have it all! Indoor, outdoor its all great! The CS was excellent. Everyone seemed genuinely happy to be there, everyone.

Always a busy place especially on the weekends! Welcoming staff and very polite and eager to help. I used to dread checkouts there because of the long wait times in line with just a few items. Now they have self checkouts and that helped out a lot with the pain! LOL

This particular Costco was a bit annoying. I could only find about half of the things I wanted, even though I know that some Costcos, at least, carry them. Also, I am not crazy about produce being kept in giant refrigerated rooms that you have to walk around in and be very cold. Overall, its just another Costco. Nothing to get excited about.

The stars apply for today due to the over abundance of employees...but the customer base was extremely low today. The cashier and his assistant (Troy) were very careful with my two packages if eggs. Lines were non-existant, most everything was in stock, and except for the slightly mentally challenged cashier, it was a great shopping experience. My first one without a mask!

Loved shopping here good parking and even the gas station was easy not like other places where its so crowded and the lines are crazy long this place was a very pleasant experience.

The first Costco I’ve seen with self checkout lanes (6 small kiosks). It was a backwards layout design from what I’m normally used to, but I still found everything easily. It’s a plus for its cleanliness and organization.

For someone who doesnt like going to the store every day is great, i always come out with more items for dinner that what i thought and the prepackaged food items it is usually 2 packages so i can prepare 1 meal today and save the other for later, so is convinient

Recommended to shop in this Costco! It was bright and clean, and all items I needed were in stock. There were not many people shopping during the weekday, and checkout speed was really fast. After ordering a whole pizza at food court kiosk, I only waited for less than 10 mins to get it.

Its a unique costco 30 minAway from Sacramento. Huge parking lot. Early morning on Sunday is the best time to avoid crowd.

Always a terrific experience at the Woodland Costco. The CalExpo location is far closer, but the lines are far longer. Less people and a tad slower pace. You dont spend 20 minutes driving around looking for a parking spot here. The same awesome Costco customer service.

The stores layout was pretty different. Trying to find the dairy cooler was a bit difficult.

This is a really clean Costco location with lots of staff on hand for the weekend. The parking lot was really crowded but I was able to check out without barely waiting in line. Staff here is friendly and helpful. If you live anywhere west of the Arden location its worth the drive to Woodland.

Cant even begin to tell you all that is wrong with the costcos.

Wide variety of items whether you need for your home food or outside. bathroom available. Wheelchair accessible. Also found out they accept EBT for food items.

Worth the drive from Sacramento. Clean store, friendly staff, never crowded like Cal Expo.

If you’re getting tires best to plan to drop your car off and go home. Then pick it up when they call to tell you it’s done. They only have 1 counter guy and he’s very slow. Had an appointment at 10 am. Waited in line for 20 mins to write up my car and give him the keys. Then 2 hours later got a call car is ready. Now waiting in line for another 30 mins to pick up my car. Think I’ll go somewhere else next time.

This Costco Wholesale location has a workforce that causes an atrocious shopping experience. The customers must endure a combination of ill-mannered, sluggish, and negligent staff. Additionally, the employees are unscrupulous and disreputable when interacting with customers. Best Costco in the Yolo County area. I drive from West Sac to Woodland because it isnt crowded and I can always find parking. The lines arent to bad when checking out. I used to go to the Costco at Exposition in Sacramento, but it is just to crowded all the time.

I live between two Costcos and I greatly prefer this one over the other. The layout is just better and the parking lot is way more user friendly

Stopped for gas en route home. Best prices in the area and Ive never gotten bad gas at any Costco.

I have request my cash back for last year three times, once in store and twice on phone. Its been three months since the first time, which is far longer than the 6 weeks that their staff told me. I called again but the staff told me that they dont allow request on phone. So, i wonder what were they doing before? Promised have done sending the mail but actually doing nothing? Or hang up the phone then pretend nothing happened? This time the staff was like “i will do it so you don’t have to tell your situation to another person.” HELLO?? Living in South Natomas, the Woodland Costco is farther from our home than the Sacramento Costco, but it is SO MUCH LESS CROWDED. The drive is totally worth it. Plus, it’s a pretty drive most of the year.

It was so so I noticed the cost of certain items Im used to in my area were a tad higher then usual, also it was a few employees that sounded and acted like they hated their job, oh well I hope they feel better but it was neither here nor there not my most pleasant Costco visit...

I mean its costco. Youll go in for 2 items and leave with 2 carts and a $750 bill. Not much for customer service, its hard to find someone to help when you need it. There was a time when an associate was trying to clean a little an area that I needed something from and she wouldnt even move a little so I can get my item. I said Im sorry is it okay if I get this one thing and she looked pretty upset. She moved for like 5 seconds and rushed me away. But overall I usually find what I need.

Clean and adequate but compared to Costco Roseville, CA, the Woodland Costco is lacking in variety, freshness of salads and gas price is higher.

Love this Costco store. It is enormous and has a very big and nice parking lot. The store is clean and the food court is inside. Bought a pizza from the food court and it was amazing for only $10. Overall it is an amazing place to shop, the staff works hard and is very helpful. No negatives at this store.
