This is one of those places where handyman (and handywomen!!) will think they have died and gone to Heaven. Pretty much any tool, material, or supply you need for your house, apartment, whatever domicile, and your yard is here. And, the employee staff is very knowledgeable about what you would need and how to do it to get more done.
Employee at customer service named Sandy had given an attitude and was a bit rude when renting out truck, hadn’t told me I had to fill the gas and scolded me to go fill it up upon return. Had me running around back and forth. Bad experience
Home Depot usually has what I want/need, but Im done shopping there. I realize that in todays environment people are lazy and would rather stay home and have the government take care of them, but the company needs to either pay their workers more or offer incentives for new hires. This location, as well as the Darien store have ONE person working the register. The self checkout lanes are crowded and always need a customer service representatives assistance. They do not have enough people o assist consumers. My time is valuable too.
Do not purchase the 2 years replacement plan. I did that back in November of 2020 and they dont want to replace my mini fridge that broke. They are telling me that I have to go through manufacturers waranty. That is crazy. I need this stuff replace, that is why Ive purchased the plan in the in the first place, to not mess with manufacturer warranty.Please explain people that youre not replacing there stuff. They have to deal with manufacturer. Do not misinform them. So I had to buy a new one. At the cashier, ofcourse there was poping up the message if I want to purchase the 2 year replacement plan so I asked the cashier what that means if my fridge broke in a couple of monts?. Guess what, she said that my fridge will be replaced. So either they dont know what the plan is or they misinform customers, like they misinformed me when I did purchase it.The store in question is Home Depot in Woodrige,IL.Good luck

I was ignored and not acknowledged while another customer ahead of me got preferential treatment.I ordered an item via Home Depots app for pickup. There was one customer ahead of me who was being helped by 3 different employees.When that customer left, these same 3 employees proceeded to completely ignore me. They wouldnt even look up from their computers to acknowledge my presence. I waited several minutes for one of them to notice my presence until it became apparent that I wouldnt get to pick up my item if I didnt say anything. When I asked if I could please pick up my item, one of these three snapped Were all busy with customers! This was of course a total lie. I was the only one in that line at that time.I was standing right in front of the line for item pick up! Would it kill them to look up to see if there is anyone waiting to pick up an item? Is my money somehow not as good as that of that other customers?I received no apologies for being ignored or for having to wait several minutes despite being the only one in line for pick up. No one asked me if Im being help or if I needed to pick up an item.I have been trying to support local businesses instead of ordering everything from Amazon. However, after this experience, I will have to drop the Woodridge Home Depot from the stores I patronize and maybe the other Home Depot locations as well. Experiences like these are among the reasons why one day only Walmart and Amazon will be the only ones left still standing.
Lousy customer service skills. A very bright skinned black girl handed me her messering tape and sat down on her lazy behind and did not assist in no way. I left the store and hopefully I will never return. 0 stars

I went in for a replacement hose for my portable airconditioner and was guided to something that did not fit. So I went to their online website found my part, paid for it and picked it up in their lock box with the code to pickup your item(s). I was impressed
I buy all of my flowers and plants from Home Depot every spring. They have a wonderful selection of annuals and perennials. Customer Service is always wonderful and willing toer carts, but nope help with all our needs. Just beware of those long-bed garden carts. They can rip your leg wide open. I was praying they would buy new safer carts to replace them, but it has been a few years and nope.

Well... this is a home depot. It is clean, prices are always higher than other places and I cant say quality is any better. But it is convenient and local.
This is a super Home Depot!! Location is great, right off 355 and 75th in Woodridge, Illinois. Selection is good, service is extraordinarily. I used twice in last week for curbside pickup. I was o happy because they were heavy and cumbersome items. They came out with a smile and loaded right in my jeep. Its very organized and clean. The managers must be the greatest! I recommend this Home Depot! Its my favorite!

So this was my go to location until... I went to exchange a set of HUSKY brand impact sockets, I went ahead and grabbed the new item and proceeded to the customer service desk. The lady asked me what I would like to do, I said exchange these, the adapter broke. She then asked for a proof of purchase receipt. I then stated Husky claims no receipt necessary for exchange, that I would have to go back to my car to look through my phone for old receipt. She said thats fine. Well lady, not for me, extremely inconvenient please learn the HUSKY brand policy seeing as how it is home depots house brand and the product is CLEARLY marked on every piece.

I was trying to find a particular grill, and this was the third Home Depot location Id visited that day chasing one. At first it looked like I was going to leave this one empty handed as well. Then Tina at customer service flagged down David. David tracked down the one I wanted in receiving. It was buried, and while it took them a while, they dug it out and even gave me a discount for the delay. I really appreciate how hard they worked to get me what I was looking for. I wish this location was closer to my house.
One of the rare good experiences at the Home Depot. I rented some equipment so unfortunately the normal high and low searching for items stocked in incorrect places was not part of this trip. Instead I had the pleasure of quickly and easily renting a hydraulic auger at a great price. The 5 day wait for the $150 deposit to return is slightly irritating but manageable. All in all, Home depot isnt too bad when you dont have to shop for anything :)
Was looking around the lumber area for an associate to assist me for the better part of 10 minutes, no one was in the are, I went to the kitchen section and found another associate who tried to reach out to the lumber team, all their phones were off. Neither of us could find an associate in lumber. The people I did interact with were nice, but its ridiculous that neither a customer or an associate could find someone in lumber. I wont be coming back to this location.
We were helped in the rug dept. by Francisco today. What a nice, friendly young man. (He should go to the Darien store and teach those punks some manners.)The Home Depot needs to give this employee some recognition for going above and beyond the scope of his job.
Tina,in the appliance department, was very helpful when we were, just looking that we made sure she was there when we came back to buy. The day we bought, another customer came in and said that Tina was the one she came to when she was replacing appliances that had been damaged in a flood.
I can find most things that I need for most of my home improvement and yardwork projects at Home Depot. There are some specialty items that I must buy elsewhere.Dont waste your time buying the cheapest Fire.Alarms offered there; NONE of them seemed to work. Nobody sells working Fire Alarms for the price of a cheap Paperweight!

This location is good. Lots of workers walking around to help you if you need them. The paint department is extremely helpful and answered all of my question. The location is great right between two main roads. However the downside is that there is no parking for pro contractors like other locations. This is a hassle if you’re picking up large items. Other than that it is a good location for home improvement items.

We always come to this location as we are in lisle. We had an inconvenient issue with a gift my fiance had gotten me. We called just to mention our issue as it was the online process, not the workers. We spoke with an associate named Mike and he was very helpful, and went above and beyond. He did not have to but he went out of his way and we fully appreciated it. We will continue to shop at this location.

Very Good selection of products & prices. Went 2 Xs today. #1-2 bought 11 bags of mulch. Customer Service Excellent with cashier & young lady checking the Mulch bags along with putting in car along with a young man who arrived shortly there after. Very Personable, Friendly & a Great experience. What a Team. #2-2 Back to buy solar landscape lights & 6 more bags of cypress mixed Mulch. Both cashiers were wonderful, also. BUT, the man helping put bags in Car trunk was NOT Friendly or personable at ALL!! Drop your attitude!! The 2nd man who came by shortly to help was Much Better.

I really enjoy going to Home Depot especially during the month of November (AKA Black Friday month). During this period, Home Depot has some outstanding tool deals. All of the other big big box stores also have pretty good deal during Black Friday; however, HOme Depot seems to the ther most deals and the ones they have seems to be better.

Had a very poor experience with this home depot.I wanted to order blinds from this location. I stopped by and paid 50 dollars and got measurements done via home depot vendor then I received a call you need to stop by to complete your order. This whole time I was dealing with Murtaza, the guy was very professional and guided me correctly.The next time when I stopped by on 2nd January to complete order Murtaza was on leave and someone else was there. Dont remember the name of the guy I started talking to him to complete the order then not sure what happened to him he cut me off and started dealing with the next customer in the queue. I waited there patiently there for 25 to 30 minutes, he continue to deal with the other customer and no one else came to assist or complete the order. horrible experience specially when you and your time is not treated with respect.50 dollars wasted. Poor customer service.

I am a contractor and my customers rely on prompt service and expect my project due dates to be realized. I placed an order for 40 sheets of drywall from Home Depot with one full week lee time before delivery. An associate called me hours before the expected delivery date to say that the delivery, for some weird reason would be delayed by four days. This is unacceptably and now my clients will be disappointed in my delivery of their home improvement project. I cannot run my business with this inconsistency in the supply chain. Good Bye Home Depot.

I have shopped at different Home Depots and people at the Woodridge store are so nice and helpful. They also almost always have a scooter available and will bring it to the car for you. Just a wonderful place to shop.

Home Depot can be intimidating to the non-professional home builder. BUT, I needed a slab of wood to use as a low profile box spring for my bed and my sons bed. Here comes a young man by the name of Kevin. If I could define patience and professionalism, Kevin would be the example. He assisted me with the measurements, the type of wood and he cut them with precision. He was so helpful. Then comes Vladimir. He helped me with loading. He showed me the proper way to use hatches and he loaded my truck. He was courteous, patient & always had a smile. A smile from an employee can go a long way. I want to thank these 2 gentlemen for their help. I would have left the stool and ordered online had it not been for Kevin and Vladimir.Home Depot should be lucky to have them.

Ive had good experiences at this location until today. Younger girl working in the paint department 5/21 at 1130am was very rude. Ive never purchased paint before so I didnt know what exactly I needed to grab. . . . she made me feel incapable of doing anything right. I thought I needed to grab a can of base paint and the color in order to have it made. She said if I was going to grab the base myself I would need to first pass an interview and physical exam. I get it you may be busier right now with covid -- everyone doing more home projects but you dont have to be so rude.
Outdoor/Garden manager Peter gave my dad and I excellent service when we came to buy our last Colorado Spruce tree. he helped us with everything from loading the tree himself, to telling us exactly how to plant the tree for the best growth. I recommend him greatly as he has the knowledge for his department and is by far the best manager i have worked with. overall great service!

Horrible trouble with on line ordering lately. Ive been trying to stay out of the stores because of COVID so I will order online. Half of my order is ready one day and I only have 1 week to pick it up or they will put / send it back. So I do before that time so I dont have to order again. Then the next week the other half is ready BUT NOT ALL OF THE ITEMS! 1 order 3 pick ups. Would be better off just going in.UPDATE: Happened again less than a week later! Your order is ready via text. Send someone there to pick it up and they say it was returned. WHAT A JOKE!!!THANK YOU HD FOR WASTING MY TIME AND COSTING ME MONEY!
Pleasant experience, and you had what I needed. The price was greaest .And staff personnel was super. Especially TINA.THANKS TINA!.We picked up my 230 volt air conditioner today and its already installed. The Woodridge store is the best . I cant say that about the Broadview store. They said they didnt carry what I bought at your store.
