We just had our new fence installed yesterday and its perfect. The installer Dan and his guys were so professional and helped design the curve in our fence to flow with the shape of our yard, we wouldnt have even thought to. We highly recommend Gem Fencing to anyone in need. Pricing was great and they were the most responsive and attentive. You get what you pay for!

I had Gem come and give me a quote for a fence, then I had them do the job.. They did a fantastic job and I would definitely recommend them they were dependable and when they started it it was done in no time. Guys were great 👍

I hired Gem Fencing to fix/adjust some damaged sections of my existing vinyl fence. The existing fence was not installed by Gem Fencing. They provided me a good price and an expected date for the project to start. Because of excessive rain days, my project start date was delayed about 6 weeks. The crew that came the first time left all areas of my fence that were worked on in a less than desirable condition. My gates were uneven with gaps and holes left open in the posts. I called to report the issues and sent in pictures of the work done as requested. A couple weeks later, a new crew came out. Bobby and Mark apologized for the work previously done by the other crew, explained that Gem Fencing work does not normally look like this and fixed all the areas. Both Bobby and Mark were friendly, professional and made sure I was able to see all work was done correctly prior to leaving my property that day. If Bobby and Mark were sent in the first place, I would be giving 5 stars.

Gem Fencing did an exceptional job installing our driveway fence. They removed the existing rusted chain link fence and installed the vinyl replacement quickly and without any hassle.Having used another fencing company previously for the fence around our backyard, there were some things that made working with Gem a better experience:1. Their quote was lower than competitors, didnt require haggling, and not inflated by my zip code. (Not like I live in a wealthy neighborhood, but Ive noticed that many contractors increase their price after I give a Riverside address).2. Scheduling was quick and simple, they were also able to schedule around my familys vacation plans.3. My driveway and my neighbors yard were left mess-free and the ground around the new fence was graded neatly.4. The vinyl fence was of better quality than the one that we had installed before. The material is thicker and feels more durable.5. There were no surprise costs. They were upfront about the old fence removal price and set the right expectations about any possible complications with the installation. There werent any, so my quote and bill were identical.Id highly recommend Gem to anyone looking for a great product installed by skilled professionals.

EDIT EDIT*** well a month as passed and once again I was promised someone would be by to take a look and get things resolved. Big surprise Im just still getting taken for a ride. I would not at all recommend gem fencing for your fencing needs. This has been the absolute worst experience I have ever had with a professional company.EDIT** I Have talked to Gem. Once issues are a resolved, I will update review to reflect what was done and fixed.Had a great experience setting up our quote for fence. Everything went down hill after that. On day on install they almost put our gate on the wrong way. Had I not been paying attention they would have installed them that way and I most likely would have been stuck with our gates swinging the way we didnt want. When I brought it up he got defensive with me even though I very much expressed in our qoute which way we wanted gates to open. He did install gate the right way but used whatever hardware he had in the truck so Instead on the nicer black hardware I was promised we ended up with galvanized run of the mill for one gate and the smallest weakest latch ever for the big double gate. Which now after one year is already warped.Thats not all. We were told we would get three braces for each pole because thats how our old fence was set up. After install there was only two an upper and a lower but not one in the middle. We called gem about this multiple times and was told we were on the books to have someone come out and put the extra brackets on. Big surprise that never happened.Now the reason Im finally writing my review with this company is I noticed a whole panel coming apart in my yard. With further investigation Im seeing it was only held in with screws and no brackets on one corner In my yard.At the end of the day. Im happy I have a fence around my yard for my dog to run around. Hindsight is 2020 I feel like had I just spend the extra 1k with any of the other companies I had come out for a quote I would have been happier. But the price and sales pitch from gem hit it home and now Im stuck with a fence that I will most likely need to spend more money on getting it fully finished right.

My experience with Gem was top notch! Shawn is awesome to work with.. I had to wait several months for my land to be surveyed, and Shawn came out a couple times to measure..each time he was precise, professional, and gave me great advice on where to put my fence, gates, etc. The whole team did an amazing job and the fence is beautiful! The office staff was responsive and incredibly accommodating with scheduling and working with me as I waited for my land survey. I would recommend Gem to anyone, especially those hesitant about pulling the trigger on such an investment..they made it seamless and I’m so glad I have a beautiful fenced in yard now. My puppy is happy too! Thanks Gem!

We cannot speak highly enough about GEM fencing! Not only was there we’re done quickly and professionally, but The receptionist and owner went above and beyond answering my ridiculous amount of questions whether it was phone call or email. We will only be using them for fence needs. Our dogs and toddlers are very happy with the new fenced in yard!Thank you GEM fencing!!!!

Typical contractor: promises the moon but fails miserably to deliver, and typical horrible communication you experience when using a contractor. It felt like once they had my 50% deposit they didnt see any need to keep me updated. Delays due to weather and covid are completely understandable and acceptable. But Im not a mind reader, so when its weeks after my install date range and I dont hear from the contractor, its normal for the customer to become concerned and frustrated. My install was rescheduled twice with minimal notice-- I got an email, not even courtesy of a call--, and I waited for 5 hrs on a Saturday, my day off, and the installer Never Showed Up-- No Call, No Show. I called office twice and emailed and had to text their head installer Shawn, who finally got back to me with what turned out to be a lie of an excuse-- he said my installer was sick, but turns out he was just burnt out from working 7days a week for a month and needed a weekend off. Again totally understandable but you dont just leave a customer waiting for 5 hrs on a Saturday and not even contact them to let them know no one is showing up.I was also told delays were due to other stuff like on the job injuries and employees stealing, etc that Im not going into.2 stars vs zero stars only because end result is a nice looking fence that has withstood two storms so far-- minus the gap they left in the corner without telling me about it.

Had a privacy fence put in around my patio. Excellent job. They were great to work with. There was a delay in scheduling due to all the rain but kept me informed and responded same day to my calls.

Gem was the most professional company that responded to my request for a quote. They offered excellent advice on placement of my vinyl fencing. Installation was awesome. The single and double gates work flawlessly. The existing fence was installed by the previous owner and didn’t meet the expectations of Gem. They offered to fix the issues at a reasonable price, in order for us to be completely satisfied with the completed project. And we just had a storm come through that took down tree and power lines. The fence is untouched. As perfect as the day the installation was completed. Thank you Gem! I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Gem.

We went with Gem Fencing as Shawn explained the material, talked about their 5 star rating and they matched the price of a lower quote from another company.We had issues with the fact that they never contacted us to inform us that they were behind schedule due to COVID-19. We understand it was out of their control, but felt they had a responsibility to their contracted customers to keep them informed. We had to call three different times before we were given a timeline and date. We were also not a fan of how they emailed us the final payment amount without an explanation of why it was more than expected and contracted for. There should be a breakdown explaining the increase.The crew that installed the fence, came out and they were friendly and talked with us about the fence. They worked hard in the heat and it appeared they did a great job.We then had a tropical storm less than a week after install and a complete panel fell apart and a post no longer seemed secure.We contacted Gem with all of our concerns and they had a quick turn around. They sent Shawn out and he addressed and fixed all of our concerns. He stayed until we were satisfied with all the repairs. He really went out of his way to make sure we were happy with the end result. He also said if we have any other concerns to call and they will be happy to come out to address them.Other than the communication and the final bill. I feel they really did do a great job to stand by their rating.

Had a fence install scheduled early 2020. Covid delayed the install (backordered product) a few weeks but Gem worked hard to make sure it was still installed in a timely manner. They initially won by bid by their quick turnaround time own the quote as well as a few bucks cheaper than others around.*Update* About 3 weeks after the fence was installed we had a big wind storm that blow the panels off one section and tilted a pole in another. I called them and they came the next day at no charge to fix the fence. Happy with my experience with them.

Absolutely Amazing work from these guys! Not only were they on time but they are very accommodating. Communication between the installer and myself was great communication with me and the office was great. They did my front yard and they will do my back yard in the spring Absolutely Recommend these guys!

GEM installed a 6ft privacy fence in our backyard along with a 4ft. high picket fence to close it off, they did an outstanding job! I would highly recommend them to anyone considering a fence. Gem Fencing did a really good job installing our fence. They are very knowledgeable with respect to fencing installs and the different fencing materials. They provided excellent suggestions regarding the fence layout, keeping the fence looking level and consistent along the full span. Their installers were extremely prompt showing up for the installation and they worked on weekends, which is a bonus with contractors. They are very attentive and take pride in their work. Gem Fencing took interest in what we wanted where as the other fencing companies we spoke with didnt seem to care and were either difficult with scheduling or never showed up for estimates. Gem Fencings fence installation cost was very reasonable compared to the other fencing companies that actually provided estimates.In summary our fence looks awesome and working with Gem Fencing was a pleasure. I would highly recommend them.

Had an appointment with him to show up and never showed......no phone call either.....would not recommend. This is how small businesses fail. Would have given 0 stars but thats not an option.

My husband requested an estimate on Sunday, April 26th. We received a phone call on Monday, April 27th and were told that appointments could only be in the morning. We both work 6 days a week and would not be able to be here in the morning. Anytime after 3:30 would be fine. This was explained to the person on the phone. Thinking this must be a mistake, I also left a phone message on the 28th and never heard back from anyone.
