Poor management. They have no employees for curbside pickup. Orders are always delayed and you wait for ever for someone to bring your order out. Items are always out of stock. Used to be convenient to stop after work and pick up groceries now I have wait around before I can even go home. Its worth to pay a little bit more and go somewhere else.

Always find something at Walmart.. love this Walmart because its all self check out, I dont like that one side of the store is cash only and the other side is card only... I dont understand the reasoning in this but maybe theres a plan lol

They had an amazing selection of Halloween candy, which was my sole purpose in going - I admit it, and it was clean, organized by price and sizes and easy to see and find what I needed. I do know they had more Halloween items and costumes but that is for another trip, one I am NOT dreading! The self check-out employee was actively cleaning the machines and was already cleaning ours before we had made it out the exit!

I like that they offer self check- outs. Very busy sometimes. Can get good or better prices on some stuff than elsewhere. Sometimes I cant find part of the items I want or need though. They definitely need a new or better manual wheelchair. Over all a good visit.

This location has recently adopted a nearly 100% self-checkout format. I personally prefer self-checkout, so it would be fine if the traffic flow planning was any good.Unfortunately, the choke-points in the now more compact checkout area make it difficult to exit during even the moderately heavy shopping times. I can’t imagine how bad it will be on the weekends with large families occupying the space. I really hope this is just a test market situation.The reorganization of the rest of the store is disorienting for now, but I don’t see it being a problem after readjusting.

Wish I could do no stars. I get it youre short staffed right now. Im sorry employees just want hand outs. But listen, yall could have went about the online order and pick up so much differently. Instead of making people wait in there cars for two to three hours why not just say hey sorry cant do orders right now and give them the money back.

Horrible Management. If you can not fulfill a service then I suggest stop offering said service. The online order pick-up/delivery option does not work at all. Pay and treat your teams fair and do better. Im embarrassed this is the Walmart in my town

I always shopped here because of the need of special diet foods and fair price of pet foods. They used to have a good variety. Now the shelves are always bare. If you find something you like you can be assured next time you go they wont have it. If your lucky enough to find an associate to ask theyll tell you its either discontinued or they are out of it. They dont know which. If you buy frozen food and do not want to go through self checkout your foods will be thawed, I was in line 43 minutes. I dont know about the self check outs there are people waiting to use them to. People dont know where to enter for the self checkouts. I hope another store comes in a hurry that has a good variety. I do not like this store and hoping to find a different place to shop.

I signed up for Walmart +. My trial period was great, but now my orders keep getting canceled. The store tells me it’s staffing issues, then they tell corporate that there were no DoorDash drivers available. What a waste of money. I don’t understand how they don’t have enough staff, because I don’t see any employment ads for them. And it’s not like everyone is on register, because they put in all the self serve registers.

Couldnt find ear drops after looking for 15 minutes, noticed two Walmart employees chit chatting, asked for their help. Was told they didnt know and go ask at the pharmacy, went and had to stand in line for 20 minutes before I was able to inquire where the location was for ear drops. Found 1 bottle of ear drops in with all of the Eye stuff!!

7/23/21 Great job Walmart its Friday 7PM! Pathetic store just asking for more competition! Management is the worst Ive ever seen. No class no customer comes 1st. Those days are gone, I try to limit my time here even if it means paying more at Beuhlers. We need that Meijers store built like now!

Pretty well stocked. Out of only a few things this week. But prices have really went up at Walmart. Im sure thats due to them deciding to raise wages way above what most factories are paying. Go figure. Everyone gets to capitalize on this covid pandemic. Pretty sad when you have to go where they havent raised prices so much. It was nice shopping there and getting everything in one place. But thats not the case anymore. I will go where I can find the deals!!

Its a Walmart where you can basically whatever you desire. From what Ive seen, all checkouts are digital and do it yourself. That isnt necessarily bad, but if you have a big cart, prepare yourself. Decent size staff that keep the place well managed.

I hate Walmart... But you gotta get things to eat and survive sometimes and they do have reasonable prices. I go early in the morning so there are less crowds.

Pick up is ridiculous, 11 oclock pick up and still not ready by 12. Got notice was ready and still continued to wait so far another 20 minutes. Employees ready to walk out because of management others just dont bother to come in. This place in general is poorly run. I could drive 30 minutes either direction to ashland or Millersburg and be better off.

Id give it five stars because the whole experience at Walmart is exactly the same. You know exactly what youre getting.Ive given it four stars because on Saturday, just after lunch many shelves in the food section were empty. Anyone looking for weekend food would be unlucky

Walmart online order and pickup are the worst! Waited 45 minutes PAST time they texted and said it was ready for pick up. There are 24 bays for pick up. There were 24 cars waiting. The manager of online pickup was extremely rude and difficult. She yelled at me. No management skills whatsoever. She swore at me. Other employees also had no problem throwing her under the bus . 3 employees all said she’s horrible. Another employee said he doesn’t think she ever does anything. They offered up their own complaints. Because of her I will never order online for pick up again.

The staff and workers were very friendly and help me find what I needed fast. Main thing is it was in stock.. Clean store, plenty of parking.

Been sitting here waiting for my online order for 50 minutes so far. Checked in through the app. The phone number listed to call and check-in has a vm that is full. If you are able, go to Ashland or Wadsworth.

Compared to other Walmarts this has very clean restrooms, and the in general is very clean. The clerks are always helpful, and mostly friendly. Walter a clerk that works in sporting goods know pretty much everything about the whole store.

Groceries were ordered online to be picked up at 5pm, its almost 7. Still waiting. Walmart should offer up an incentive for us to buy here again

If I could give this Walmart negative stars I would. I placed an online order for a Rug this morning for curbside pick up. An email was sent they would let me know when ready to pick up. We live 1/2 hour away and was doing other shopping in town. 6 hours later they sent an email that my order was cancelled due to out of stock. We went to the store and there were 5 rugs there. I asked to speak to a person in charge. A young guy name shay said oh they must have just came back in stock. Really not even an hour after you cancelled my order. No apology or anything. Just turned around and left. They already took the money out of my bank. I asked front desk if they could just change my order to being picked up. Nope. I had to pay for it again. They said if you don’t have your money back by Wednesday then call us. The shelves are bare. Workers not helpful. And every line is self check out. Thank god I do the majority of my shopping on Amazon. Never any issues. I will not be back. Can not wait till meihiers opens. Till then it will be Anywhere but Walmart

Wooster Walmart almost always has stock issues, even before the disruption in the supply chain. I typically use the pickup feature because its easy. Today, my pickup time was 4-5pm. I didnt receive the email that it was ready until 5:33pm. It is now 7:34pm and I am still sitting here waiting. While I am understanding that everyone is short staffed, this is beyond ridiculous. Time to shop elsewhere.

Order online and pick up at this location is horrible! Waited for an hour after checking in, finally called and was told oh we’ll pull your order right now and bring it out. Watched them bring out 3 more cars orders and 30 minutes later I call and canceled my order. No “I’m sorry for the wait” or anything, she seemed very eager to cancel the order. Will never order for pick up from this location again

They are low on nearly every item in the store and you have to check yourself out and bag your own purchade.

Love the newly remodeled store! Unlike most people it seems, I love the new self-checkout stations as theyve virtually eliminated all waiting in lines! The newly renovated check out area was well thought out & is really efficient in my opinion. I just wish there were more options for those who are disabled or otherswise may struggle with this option as i am so blessed not to have to worry about but have noticed others who are very intimidated by this new system & cash registers. I actually enjoy ringing up my own merchandise & doing it all my way, but i can understand how it could be all bad for others though. But if Ive needed help in the past, the employees here, have always went out of there way to assist me! Above & beyond any other Walmart in a 50 mile radius tbh!☺️Thank you so much for ur kindness Wooster Walmart employees! U are much appreciated! 😉

I usually hate shopping at Walmart. Two reasons 1) the pricing is never right 2) the overcrowding and low cashier to cash register ratio 1:17 drives me insane. However, I really like that they put in those self checkout terminals 😁. And I have surprisingly find that they stock some rare food items that I can only fine online...like my Oatsome milk!!!

I try not going to this Walmart. There are always out of things. Its dome that they have all of them self checkout. I thought the point of having a supercenter Walmart was to bring jobs that take them away.

One of the more decently kept stores. Decently clean and clutter is dealt with very well.

The ABSOLUTE WORST to visit!!!! Highly recommend going to another location. This particular location seems to bring in some very unique characters. Skip this one at all costs!!!!

They have no cashiers working in the evening the place is I dont know where to begin buellers child buellers giant eagle they have cashiers at night I dont know how the place is staying open or what they are thinking

Everyone I know used to enjoy shopping here but after all the major unnecessary changes its no longer enjoyable. I do enjoy self check outs but not when it takes away from the regular check out lines. This is not alright because many customers tend to buy in bulk for their families. Some people have to look after their young children and now they have to worry about scanning every single individual item without accidentally forgetting something which is inevitable. Being treated like a criminal is ridiculous and I suggest you give shop somewhere else.

Unless youre going in for pharmacy dont bother. Clean but lacking in stock like were back in 2020. I have a bigger family so already sick of the self checkout. Put a little extra in the gas tank and go to the Millersburg store. I do!

My delivery order has been taken by the driver multiple times… it took me almost an hour to get someone on the phone, just for them to tell me oh they will look into it and NEVER call me back. Disappointed…

I had been looking for a new laptop for weeks and even though they didnt have the exact laptop, I was happy with my second pick. They didnt have my laptop in stock so we ordered it through the Walmart app and in about 4 hours while shopping there, the laptop came and we were able to pick it up! Been going here for groceries ever since April of this year!!

They are now mainly self-checkout a good thing you can try is the Walmart + pro subscription its pretty awesome and has already saved me money and time!

I’m not a fan of Walmart because they rip off their vendors, but I was extremely unhappy that they removed almost all the registers for self checkout. I will only be shopping here when I’m desperate.

Employee attitudes are awful. They were rude and tried to tell me how I should bag my own groceries. Shelves were bare.

This walmart has a good selection of mexican laundry soaps, like pinol,ensueño,blanca nieves and arcoiris.

Its WalMart...they are good for saving money, but their produce is sub-par. Workers are generally polite, but good luck finding one for electronics. I think anyone who uses the self checkout should be able to get their items tax free😉

Never any help. Shelves are often empty. The Isles are too close!!! Almost all self check out..... dont miss any item, you will be accused of shop lifting. One of the worst Walmarts I have been in.

First time of getting my store list on automatic pickup. GREAT!

Out of a lot of stock in groceries, found all other items I was l looking for. Only one register open all others were self check out which took forever. People with no cashier experience should not use self checkout.

I use to love this place.But i dont like the new setup.Employees are AMAZING though. One time i was with my sister and a guy almost ran over us and the walmart employee the worker then got his manager and the problem was solved very quickly.

The worst! If there were review stars for negative, I would give negative stars. Store not as clean as expected, with melted icecream on the floor, no employee around to find, one register open with an associate checking people out and she was so very slow and not friendly in the least. The place was packed! (Her name is Linda, very long gray hair and glasses. She needs to work in the jewelry dept.) If I wanted to work for Walmart, I would do the self check out. Sam Walton must be rolling in his grave for what his stores have become!! Going back to mom and pop stores. If they do not have what I need, I will do without!!

Self Checkouts.What a bad idea. Loved the store,but now hate it. If you are a fan of Working all day and want to Work some more shop here. You now have to do everything. Employees stand around and watch you work some more.

They are replacing handicap parking for instacart spots. Put those in the back of the lot and let the healthy employees push the garden to the back.

All baby formula is locked up and they will give you a hard time if you are not ready to check out. Most registers are all self but they do offer a lot of help if you have any issues.

This Walmart Is frequently out of stock on many items. The store manager of this store chooses the brands she likes and refuses to sell others as you will notice there are no Snyder brands. product available in that store If you are able go to another Walmart The Ashland Walmart is 20 minutes from this Walmart has better selection carries all brand names.

Busy night and only one cashier working. With the competition offering full service with comparable prices please help me understand why I spend over $1000 a month here? Walmart used to be all about customer service. Now it all about every but customer survive. Not what you used to be. So sad!

It was nice to see that they widened the isles in the grocery sections. It would be nice if they would use the floor to mark directions around the checkouts.

Very little employee presence. The few employees who were in the tool department had no clue, pricing tags located in wrong places for products they dont seem to have.Only offered a 10% discount because of employees incompetence. This location has gone down hill and lost touch with proper customer service. Extremely disappointed and this store should be ashamed of itself.

Walmart moves stuff around too much. I understand the marketing behind that but I can never find what I want quickly. The dish soap is right close to the pet food.. really??

Went to the store early, was already a little crowded but not bad. Dont mind the new self check out isles they have now I feel it makes checking out go faster then only a few cashiers open but may impact some people.

Horrible pickup service placed an order yesterday for curbside pickup between 1-2. Get there at 1:02 just to receive a text saying order has been delayed called them and they can’t give me a time when it will be ready I am done with Walmart i have no patience with incompetent people

Does humans work here? I didnt see many of them .No clerks to check you out. The ones I did see throughout the store werent helpful . 1 actually had ear buds in and wasnt trying to deal with anyone.I left without being able to purchase the electronic equipment which would of been about $500 . Very disappointing

It was pretty painless for a friday before the fourth of July. Great shopping only problem was finding a parking spot close. Staff was great and surprisingly the shelfs were not that empty.

This Walmart has gone downhill fast ever since the pandemic started. They start announcing that they’re closing way earlier than needed and it feels as though they’re trying to kick you out before close. The pressure builds as they announce inaccurately how long until they’re closed (they will say half an hour until close and 10:15 or earlier- and then the next person that gets on the loudspeaker says the correct time so not only are you feeling pressured it’s also confusing). When you do get to the checkout area there are absolutely no cashier ran checkouts anymore, the employees stand there looking likeThey can’t wait for you to leave as masses of people are trying to check themselves out on too few actual open registers. It’s the most uncomfortable shopping experience ever and if there was absolutely ANYWHERE open after ten pm other than them… I wouldn’t be back. And this isn’t even mentioning the massive amounts of remodeling and restocking they’re doing making it impossible to hear yourself think let alone get to the things you need quickly and easily. It’s a joke and just all around I dread having to go in there any time of the day for any item(s). Walmart’s are Walmart’s and you expect a certain amount of… Walmart-ness but this is unreal.

Only self check-out was available...when I asked for assistant check-out as I was with a cart filled with a large amount of various desserts I was told that cashier had went home at 8, it was 8:30. I told her ok, I dont like when stores do this. I put everything back where I got it from in the bakery. I took empty cart outside after asking the door person what to do with it & I was told to take to parking lot. I went to another store who gave me customer service and chech-out service.

I think it is pretty pathetic to have to check your own self out instead of you touching your groceries now youre also touching the germs that are on every screen because youre checking your own self out much more likely to spread the germ then the fact that I work a job to be able to buy groceries and now I have to also check myself out wheres the discount were having to work to get your own groceries after you already work to make the money to buy them I really hope people are ripping them off and walking out with way more than they paid for

Great place to shop for one stop shopping ...most of the time the shelves are stocked ...sometimes its hard to find personnel to assist you when you need assistance in the store which can be very frustrating ...

If you used curbside pickup today (8-22-21) and it was your first time, dont judge the service by today. Typically orders are ready early and out to your car before you know it! Today we waited 2.5 hours after they said the order was ready and we had checked in. Poeple in near by cars reported problems all day. Hopefully Walmart is working to fix the issues.

Just like any other. Thou some arent the brightest. Lazy women wanted me to stand in the tobacco line behind 3 people loaded with groceries cause she couldnt get cigarettes from behind the counter. Then lie to me about it as if she alone actually know what the policy is. News Flash this isnt the only Wal-Mart in existence nor are the only one to be employed by them.

When we were ready to check out, there was only two registers open to accommodate shoppers. All the rest of the check out stations were self- checkouts. Everyone was confused and didnt know where to go and what to do. What happened to all the people who need jobs who could be running the checkout lines. Pay them a living wage and they will work. Thats my last time shopping at Walmart in Wooster, Ohio. What a disappointment.

I dont agree with the way corporate is doing all the self checkouts you lose the personal touch but I guess its all about the almighty dollar customer service sucks and there is no product on the shelves

Tired of online ordering and they say the items were unavailable, however, you go in after picking up order and there are 10-20 of the things they listed out of stock!

Restrooms are dirty and no paper towels. The employee at the self check out was helpful and offered to get me another cart. I didnt get mugged by the door watcher as I was leaving with my $600 dollars in groceries.

Barely any lines open. Clueless workers telling you to look in hardware for Barbecue Skewers. And lastly the worker with open wounds all over her arms constantly picking and scratching at them while checking you out. I shop Wal mart regularly. Very disappointed with only 1 or no actual person check outs. I dislike self checking it more of a hassle overall wait for a person to ok certain items and I am super slow bagging rather pay little more for the person to do it for me!
