Kathy has horrible customer service. She shouldnt be authorized to answer the phone if shes going to have a horrible tone and a condescending attitude. When I visited a few weeks prior, as I waited for my appointment all I heard was the assistants (all young women) gossip about their love life. No one wants to hear about it and no one cares. You should care more about your job than your current fling. You have an easy job, the least you could do is be more professional & kind. (:
I have been going to this vision center since I was a kid. The Dr and Staff have always been super nice to me and very helpful.
I have been going here almost every year since I was 16. The doctor in my experience is GREAT. However that’s where the “great” stops. The assistants are very slow and at times can be borderline rude-only once did I have a VERY rude woman help me and eventually I got mad and called her out on it-I’m 6’1” and a decently built guy and few people even dare to be rude to someone like me but I never give people a reason to be rude. Give respect get respect. She didn’t last long. I have had experiences going in for contacts and only being there 5 minutes but normally wait 15 minutes or more before even getting service or acknowledged for that matter. The prices for frames/contacts are very reasonable but prices for lenses are about the same as other optometrists. The doctor and prices are the reasons I go back but with all the other issues I don’t believe I could ever rate this more than a 3 star.
Usually pretty quick visit in and out when I have an appointment. Although now with COVID-19, nobody helps you when you wait for them at the front or even Greets you or acknowledges you whatsoever. I’ve tried to get contacts three separate times now when I’ve been at Walmart with no success. Anyone working now just Doesn’t look up from what they’re doing no matter how long you stand there and no matter how many customers are waiting. Need to at least say- hi, well help you in a bit.
Excellent service, again. My wife and I go there every year for our eye exams and glasses. They remember us when we come in, and the Doctor is very thorough. Also, the staff is super friendly.
Doctor is great, but the techs take terrible customer service to a different level.
When I walked in, I was immediately greeted and helped. I told the guy (I believe his name was Jim) that I needed contacts within the week before I left on vacation. He was extremely helpful and understanding. They shipped right to my house and right before vacation! I was so happy!
My kids and myself have been going here for years! Absolutely love the service. Fast easy and knowledgeable.
I went there and got my eyes tested. They only did and exam and it had been about two years since my last exam and first time getting my eyes checked from there. So I was a little surprised they didnt do all the other exams. I got my glasses and had to take them back in because there was something wrong. I was getting migraines when wearing them. They fixed the problem so I tried again. I ended up having to return the glasses. I went somewhere else and have no problem with my new glasses or contacts. I would not recommend going to the eye center in Walmart. I was beyond annoyed with all the hassle with the glasses and will NOT return to any Walmart eye center ever.
I dont get why all these people are lying. They almost always answer their phone, nobody is rude or ignores you. Annoying people that get paid to write a bad review is rude and selfish.
Friendly, helpful, and easy to make an appointment without having to wait weeks. Dr. Kacere is very nice.
I know people have a lot of issues these days but if you cant deal with really nice people who are kind and understanding without flipping out you need to be working behind the scenes! I went in and waited and waited to pick up my glasses, other people who came in long after I did were getting waited on. When I politely explained the situation the woman got very nasty with me. I said if that came out in an impolite way I am sorry! She once again told me in a very rude way you will have to wait your turn. When I explained that I had been there now for 35 minutes and that 2 other people who walked in had already been waited on she went over to another employee, pointed at me and started whispering about me, when i fixed my gaze on her in disbelief she walked over to the desk with this other person and squatted down behind it like I couldnt see them and continued to talk about me including describing me as that fat lady over there! Unbelievable!!! Unfortunately I believe this kind of experience can happen anywhere now with so much mental illness, but the lack of professional care at this Wal Mart is just too much! The doctor seemed very nice, I hope he can keep to himself as long as he has to work there, without having to deal with the front line!!! My glasses are terrible quality and scratched and peeled so badly even after i purchased everything they recommended. Ive been wearing glasses for 51 years and can honestly say these are garbage!!!! Maybe that too is the way it is everywhere, but I will take my chances elsewhere.
Called for my order after a week and they never bothered telling me they never ordered them. Then the tech hung up on me. Good job Walmart vision center
My daughter lost her glasses. Lucky was able to replace them.. i was told that they wont be in till October 6th or after. Well I got a phone call telling me her glasses are I and ready to be picked up. Came In just in time for Monday for school
They never answer the phone my daughter and i been calling for days they never answer and it says they are open i meann we called 20 times in one day!!
Quick appointment date, very thorough eye exam, really nice staff on the phone and in office, and glasses arrived extremely fast!
Last time I will use Wooster Walmart Vision Center. I called before going to make sure they were open on Sunday. Was told yes at noon they opened. We were there by 11 am did our shopping checked out and waited for the vision center to open. At 12:15 there still was no one there to open the store. I asked a C.S.M. if they were open on Sunday she yes and had to find the person that was there to open the store. I was not upset at this point but that soon changed. I explained to the employee that I simply wanted to replace my frame because I had bent the frame. He said we can do that. Then he starts asking me if I want bifocals or what I had on file. I told him neither I just want to replace the frames. He says ok.. then precedes to ask me again do you want bifocals? Again for the 3rd time now I remarked I just want to replace the frame. He looked at me like.. what the heck lady, so I had to pick up my old glasses point to the lens and explain I want to remove my lenses and put them in a new frame. I should have done that in the first place because he finally understood what I was saying. And once he exchanged the lenses into the new frame he brings them out to me and asks me to see how they felt. I told him they werent right and he says ...I adjusted them to your old frames. Why would you adjust my new frame to my old bent up frame?? By this time I was about to get peturbe so I said Ill take them the way they are. Just let me get out of here. I should have known better than to go back since the time before they used high pressure sales tactics to get me to buy everything I didnt need including bifocals. Which I returned because I could not see as well out of the new pair with all the fancy bells and whistles they pressured me into buying ..as the 10 year old glasses I walked in with.
They ordered wrong vision for daughter. She needed Hi vocals they ordered single plus I called in insurance to get pre approval and they did it there day of them entered the info wrong. So waiting on reorder of her glasses . and I had to make another trip in to get her eyes measured again.
They are the rudest Doctors office I have EVER encountered. They pick and choose who to serve first and skip right over you no matter how long you have been there.
Rude customer service when answering the phone.
