Rkckwellian at its best. A true hometown diner experience. A friendly staff and excellent service. The food is tasty and classic, just like the feeling of the place. Some of the best pancakes outside of my grandmas kitchen, and that is no exaggeration.

Great atmosphere, extremely fun and polite staff. Made you feel very comfortable and welcome. Food was only so-so though. I ordered the grilled chicken sandwich and it tasted ok but it was very small. The bun was larger than the actual piece of chicken. Im going to guess this may have been a one time deal and will give them another try the next time Im in town.

Heading to Amish country for the day and googled restaurants near me, we went off our path to this place and it was simply “basic”. Once our food came no one checked on us, eggs were runny, bacon barely cooked, hasbbrowns also undercooked, greasy and they didn’t bring creamers for coffee. Could be a good place, felt maybe it was just very understaffed today. Leaving you with this finale thought, the water in the women’s restroom only runs cold, that is scary when you think about how staff washes hands...

Good food, busy place. Waitresses and waiters are on point. Everyone works really hard. The owner is hilarious and really nice, always talks to all the customers.

Had a great breakfast. Lauren was very friendly and polite. The menu has great options and the prices are excellent. Nice old fashioned restaurant. Brings back awesome memories of growing in Wooster. I will be back soon.

Classic style diner. The food is always made quick and delicious, prices are modest, plenty of versatile seating for any size group, personally have never had to wait for a table. The owner has always been there acknowledging and thanking everyone he can. Its a Wooster staple! My only wish is that they add more forms of payment. Cash only!!

Best breakfast in town! Step back in time when you walk through the doors of The Parlor. We visit every Tues. And are welcomed warmly by the staff and owner, who cooks your breakfast !

This restaurant was quick, fairly priced but is cash only! I missed the sign when I walked in but luckily there is an ATM next door.The food is good, the servers were friendly and charismatic and the whole environment felt like 50s but new, not like an amusement park or old diner where everything is sticky. Very neat and certainly worth a visit!

Took us a long time to drop in but when we did we were happy with our meal and (over-the-top) waiter. Its not a 5-star dining experience, but its about as high as a 4 star can go! Super prices too.

This is the best family restaurant in town! My grandparents would go at least once a week and now my dad and I take my daughter. They people are super friendly, and fun!! The food is absolutely amazing, talk about home cooking! Heads up, its cash only but its so worth it! Good luck finding a parking space, its that great! Even the prices are great!! And hands down the best coffee around!!

Absolutely recommend The Parlor Restaurant for breakfast or lunch. I was blown away by the welcoming feel i incurred while having my lunch. Upon entering i was greeted very politely and was talking with who i felt was the owner. The atmosphere was like that down-home diner where everyone comes to get their morning coffee and speaks to one another like family; certainly a feeling that is hard to come across these days. Recommended!

A good mom and pops breakfast spot. The staff are nice and the food is good for the price. Be prepared that they tend to be very busy in the morning and they only accept cash for payments. Not a place that stands out but would return to again if in the area.

We were in Wooster & ate breakfast 3-4 times almost 6 years ago & we had great breakfast meals each & every time. We were visiting family in Orrville but visited family in Wooster too. We found meals to be good, reasonable & the Parlor was clean, the staff each time was courteous & great. Would recommend The Parlor to anyone visiting & living in the area. Only thing that we found inconvenient was the fact that the didnt accept debit or credit cards. Yea, The Parlor.

The food was great and brought out in a timely manner and my coffee was refilled. I guess it depends whose working but I was asked if I needed something twice while eating. The price is amazing for the amount of food you get. Will definitely be going back.

This is by far my favorite place to eat breakfast everyone is so friendly and the food is cheap and delicious. The owner also works there on a regular basis and is a funny guy and cares about his customers

Good value, friendly servers. All the servers come by and keep your coffee full, no matter who your actual server is. Food is good and reasonably priced. They do not accept credit cards, so make sure you have cash (there are two ATMs within a block or two, should you forget)

This restaurant makes food the way my mom does and I love my moms cooking. Its also the only place that makes biskets and gravy right. Wish I could go here more often but my work schedule wont let me lol

The food was very good but the sign that said no credit cards should have been on the door so people could see it on entering rather than see it at the registrar. I had to go to a A.T.M. and withdraw cash which was a huge inconvenience plus I have to pay out of network fees.

Food is good, no question. We were a little put off by some of the language - had to cover our kids ears a few times... Not likely to return until theyre older. However, we really appreciated the service and the other aspects of the atmosphere. Its just the case of a couple people making the difference with a few unsavory comments that were overly loud.

Too crispy of hashbrowns sometimes. Bacon {deep fried is how they fix it}, and its not very good bacon 😕. Need to serve fried potatoe slices instead of hashed type too.

CASH ONLY. After moving to Wooster 7 years ago, we tried every place for breakfast that we could find in the area. We even treked to Mrs. Js in Orrville. After getting a recommendation from one of the cooks at Farmer Boy for this place in the Starbucks Drive-Thru, we can typically be found her Saturday mornings. This place is well priced, quick, and has a good cup of coffee that the staff keeps full. We prefer their breakfasts to their lunches but both are fine. I like the omelettes and pancakes while my husband prefers the biscuits and gravy. Whatever you get, settle in with a book or friends while Mike the owner gives you a hard time or helps run the line. We love this place.
