I was craving Lox and when I asked for recommendations literally everybody recommended Bagel Time. I called ahead & it was ready when i got there. They’re only allowing 4 people inside at a time right now due to COVID-19. The bagel was absolutely delicious, and the lox were perfect. We got three bagel sandwiches for $21, next time I definitely want to try one of their iced teas

Pretty good breakfast bagels - got the SEC on everything with tomato basil cream cheese on the side. The cream cheese was alright.

The bagels here are pretty great, not to mention the service is pretty fast and friendly too. They have a great selection and their prices are reasonable.

Bagel Time’s service is a DISGRACE. I don’t even know why I keep trying to give them my business. They have an amazing product but unfortunately their service makes me want to stop. I boycotted them for 2 years after having an awful customer experience and then returned in hopes that I would see a change. And I have not. They are rude. Their system for taking customers is SLOW and absolutely PAINFUL!!! There phone doesn’t work so you can’t even call in your order. Employees seem miserable and very very unfriendly. I’m back to boycotting this place. I have lived in Worcester for 7 years now and this is the worst service I have ever experienced time and time again! It is such a shame. Best Bagel in Worcester Award and Worst Customer Service Award. Congrats to you ladies at Bagel time!!! At least your consistent!

First time customer 10am Saturday, line was out the door down the sidewalk. Moved along quickly ! They are very organized and efficient. Bagels were warm and delicious. Nice experience !

Amazing bagels and sandwiches, fantastic staff. Great selection of food and beverages. This place is _busy_ because it is so good!!! Even when they are busy, the staff accommodates different spreads, topings and drink ingredients based on customer requests. Definitely coming back!!!

The plethora of plants made me feel very cozy inside the cafe, but the stressed out associates had the opposite effect. I visited on a holiday weekend when it was very busy, so I dont want the frenzy to taint my experience. The nova lox on a sea salt bagel was delicious! Everyone else enjoyed their bagels too. The iced coffee was okay. Ill have to come back when they have the nitro in stock.

Pretty great. In my mind bagels shouldnt have a top and a bottom (or at least the bottom should have the same amount of toppings as the top), and I suspect hard water makes better bagels (and Worcester tap water is pretty soft), but these are the only bagels Ive found in New England that Ill actually (and happily) pay for. Pretty sure they do boil their bagels before baking, which is the single most important thing.

Such an adorable little cafe! I always drive by here and finally decided to get a bagel since I was craving one! I didnt think they would have vegan options but they surprised me! They have vegan tofu cream cheese, vegan bagels, hummus sandwiches, and much more! I am very pleasantly surprised! The staff are great! The covid precautions are in place which is nice to see. The bagels are SOFT AND AMAZING! Definitely worth the stop! I will be back to try more flavors and bagels!!

Having grown up in NYC, I tried to keep my expectations for Bagel Time reasonable. I got an egg and cheese on a cheddar jalapeño bagel. The price was reasonable and I really enjoyed it! This place is definitely the spot for a quick grab and go breakfast.

Amazing bagels. I always have jalapeno cheddar and garlic cheddar gourmet bagels from here with variety cream cheese. Bagels are nice crunchy from out and soft from the inside. Never been disappointed after eating here. Their plain bagels are also really good and they sell fresh cream cheese. I definitely recommend this place.

I have been going here for the past four years of school, and I have to say I have never had a bagel sandwich that beats Bagel Time. Their bagels are top notch, sandwiches are delicious, and the family that runs it is so nice. They kept open through COVID, and did a great job handling the restrictions. I love Bagel Time!

** EDIT **I am editing my review. After several visits to Bagel Time I am probably not ever going back. The food is fantastic. Best Bagels in Worcester. BUT the customer service is awful! There is a young lady that works at the counter and takes orders. She has the worst attitude. She looks miserable to be there and she is rude. It just ruins the whole trip there. At first I thought maybe she was just having a bad day. No big deal, it happens. But no, every single time I stop in its the same negative attitude and rude customer service. I think I will find another bagel place that has a more pleasant atmosphere.I have been craving a good bagel and finally decided to wait in the line to get in here.... it was worth the wait. Delicious bagel. Fantastic cream cheese. Fabulous muffins.I highly recommend this place. Just be prepared to wait in line outside.

The bagels are great, a little expensive, but well worth your dollar. My only compliant is the line which even at opening time is out of the door.

We stopped here on our way home to NY, and we are so glad we did. Its a cozy friendly place. The lovely lady behind the counter was super polite and made us feel very at home. The bagels were warm out of the oven. What a treat! They were heavenly aaaand my husband wondered if we could make a 3 hr trip back just for a bagel. Well when she found out we were on our way back to NY the counter lady brought us a bag of fresh bagels for the ride. Who does that? It was very nice.

A 5 star rating would only be if Im absolutely floored.But it is go to bagel place in Worcester.BAKING DONE ON PREMISES, which is important if the bagels to be fresh.No second guessing on what would work for customers in the area. The owners have made a commitment and have done it right for over 20years

Good bagels and friendly service. The bagels and eggs are always fresh and warm which is a nice bonus. However, they call out your order when it’s ready instead of giving out a number. This leads to a bit of confusion, especially when two people have the same order. They also write your order down a white board after being told it by the cashier, so there is the occasional slip-up which along with the low physical capacity can really slow things down. Sometimes it can take upwards of 40 minutes to get your order. The prices are also never listed before you actually order. Although they still have some really good bagels if you look past all of that, and it’s definitely worth it.

Great food and service but quite a wait

I have to call ahead to get it in time for break while at work. I have called 7 times. Can’t even get anyone on the phone. 3 days in a row. Big bagel fan. Terrible service. They need a second location or express order ahead only branch attached to the business and a mobile app. That’s money left on the table. 30 minute wait in line outside. 10 minutes inside. 10-15 to have order ready. Be prepared to dedicate an hour of your day to getting a bagel if you want to come here. Hands down best bagel in worcester though and polite staff. Need order ahead feature.

Really liked their everything bagel, I ordered the nova lox sandwich. They were heavy on the cream cheese which is great, really feel like I got my moneys worth. Wait wasnt too long. There was a rush that came in right after me and I arrived at 8am!Bought some bagels to go to try out at home as well as their garlic and herb cream cheese.

I visit this place whenever I am in the Worcester area. They have really great fresh house made bagels and a lot more. They have desserts, sandwiches, soups as well as coffee and a good healthy beverage selection. The staff is always courteous and helpful and you can tell they enjoy it. I Highly recommend making time for bagel time.

Ive been coming here 2-3 times a week for 3 weeks now (not too good for my waist line).The bagels are spot on and are toasted to perfection . The jalapeno cheddar is my favorite. The coffee is strong (albeit it can be hit or miss on some days).Great place.

I went to Bagel Time today at 10:40am, I had placed my order prior to going. I almost had to curse out one of your employees today. The girl that work there was rude towards me and I didn’t like the tone of her voice. There were two girls working today 10/04/2020 the shift was 8-1pm. When I arrived the entire parking lot was pretty much filled with people all over the place, so I stood in what looked like a line. The lady ahead of me stated that she had already called ahead and she was there waiting to pick up her food so I could go ahead of her so I told her I had did the same. she stated she didn’t know how she was supposed to get her food because there was no line I said me too. The girl comes out she gets the person in from the lady and I order and go back in without asking if anybody was there for a order pickup. More customers started to come but everybody looked confused because there were no clear place that even looked like a line. After a while of standing and calling bagel time to see what we are supposed to do when we get there nobody answered I called 7x. I realized there was no organization at this point because customers were coming in and just cutting each other off (once again nobody could tell if there was a line) it got to a point where I had been waiting for a while so I waited until one of the girls were done taking another customer order and I said to her I’m here to pick up my food and she rudely said to me “you have to wait in line” in which I reply “I’ve been waiting in line for a while now” she takes my card goes back in comes back out and another customer says to her I’m here to order my food she tells him to “wait in line” he looked at her confuse and I reply to her while she was rushing to close the door “there’s no line people are all over the parking lot standing around” and I walked away. I say all that to say this bagel time need to have a better organized way for their customers to pick up their food have three lines if possible one for order pickup, one for ordering, and one for already ordered it will help with the confusion also have your staff check their attitude before talking to customers because I almost went off on that girl today. As for my food it literally fell apart when I picked up my bagel it had too much cream cheese on it.

Its probably just because Im a NY person (who loves bagels), but Bagel Time was 90% worse than what I would usually have in NY (flavor wise: vegetable cream cheese tasted completely different and was missing that garlicky background flavor, and the bagel dough tasted very, very odd).No offense or anything since Im not a person from Mass, but if these women went to NY to try some real, fresh hand-made bagels, theyd probably be able to recraft their recipe and reach perfection! And that perfection is something that I want to happen for this place since bagels (in general) are so dang amazing!Wish I had known about the lox in the past, since I probably wouldve tried a cream cheese and lox bagel if I had known!I cant even imagine how much MORE business Bagel Time would get if they mastered their bagel recipe! THAT would get me to come back to Woo! I miss that city :(.Good luck moving forward!

Their bagels and cream cheese is great!! Recommend coming for breakfast.Coming for lunch, I would say there are better options around. The wrap I received was ok.I visited durning lunch time with a group of people. We all received our food at a different time. I feel they couldn’t handle the lunch rush.The atmosphere was ok. The trash was overflowing. The table we sat at was dirty.

The sad thing is that there is always a line no matter what time you go, but there’s a reason for the line! I had a salmon bagel with cream cheese, capers, tomato, and red onion. So delicious! I had the Indian harvest bagel and it was fantastic! A little dense but chewy and tasty.

I absolutely love visiting Bagel Time. There is usually a bit of a wait when I go, but it is worth it! This place is a Worcester institution, earning the best bagels in the city award for more than a decade. I love the Everything and Spinach Garlic bagels here, and the turkey time is my favorite sandwich. The food is fresh and delicious. The people here are friendly and work with grace and elegance under a constant rush of customers. Love you guys!!

Bagel time has an amazing selection of freshly made, delicious bagels. They are sold at a reasonable price too. They also have a good choice of unique homemade cream cheeses. Their baked goods and sandwiches are pretty good as well. Coffee is also sold here, but it was only alright.

Literally the best bagels I’ve ever had, hands down. Made from scratch and it’s obvious. Family owned and run business who treat their guests like family. Jalepeno cheddar bagel with bacon scallion cream cheese or a blueberry bagel with honey apricot cream cheese to name a few of my favorites, but no choice is ever wrong. Must try - no regrets.

Bagel time is excellent probably the best place to grab bagels and sandwiches in Worcester. They always have a large variety of fresh bagels & specialty cream cheeses. the only thing you could say is lacking if they dont have specialty coffee beverages but as the name implies thats not really the product. They do have a nice selection of New England coffees, which pairs well with the food they offer.

They can take all the money in my bank account and I’ll be happy. The bagels are unreal. I can’t eat bagels from anywhere else they’re not even up to par. If you plan on going for breakfast sometimes they’re a little busy just make time for it because it’s totally worth it.

Please write down the orders. You made our 3 (simple) bagel sandwiches wrong after asking three times what we wanted. When you called them out, they were wrong. I again clarified and they still weren’t right when we got home. Easy fix.

Quick breakfast favorite. My go-to is the Nova lox on an everything bagel but they have such a large selection of bagels to choose from that I could easily switch it up and never get bored. Get there early before they star running out of flavors!

I love love love the bagels here! There is such a great variety and they are always delicious. The kale smoothies have become one of my favorite things, they are a hidden gem in my opinion.

Today was my first day at Bagel Time, I was very satisfied with my experience. They have a variety of bagels and cream cheese, the atmosphere felt good, the cashier was very friendly; she recommended the kale smoothie.... is my favorite now :)I will definitely visit again!

Amazing homemade bagels. There is a $10 min for credit/debit transactions so I had to add a few extra items. The employee suggested adding a cinnamon stick because they just came out of the oven. This cinnamon stick is not the sad excuse Honey Dew sells. Too fresh to even put in a bag.

Some of the tastiest bagels i have ever had plus they have a number of different types of cream cheese and many different bagel options.the prices are fairly reasonable if you get a more simple bagel with cream cheese. The only time It was expensive is when I got it with the the lox which is a thinly sliced piece of salmon.

Its a great family shop Im glad that I decided to go there one day and now I wouldnt go anywhere else

Typically love bagel time but this weekend we had friends in town and came two separate times (Friday and Sunday) with our friends. Experience was terrible both times. I see other people writing this review as well - YOU NEED TO WRITE ORDERS DOWN because they are getting messed up and you are also missing orders all together when it gets busy. Really not impressed. Today we were asked three times what our order was. The product is good but operationally you need to make some changes.

Even with the COVID restrictions they still turn out amazing food quickly! The lunch bagel sandwiches are to die for!

This cafe has been around a long time, I believe ownership changed once. Very nice people running the shop. The bagels, cream cheese, and sandwiches ate good. The coffee not do much, sand I dont think they have any specialty coffees. So for a quick bite, or some bagels its great, but if youre a coffee aficionado you should move on.

The bagels are very tasty and you can tell they are fresh. Its usually pretty busy in there, so expect a line. Go early if you want to be able to choose from all the flavors. My favorite (chocolate chip) is almost always sold out by the time I get there. But they have plenty of flavors to choose from so you wont be disappointed! They also have a good variety of cream cheese flavors, as well as butter, PB, & jelly.

Delicious food but there is one major issue. The staff is not very customer oriented. During my order today the server walked away as I was speaking and missed my request for a side of cream cheese instead of on the bagel. When the first of my bagels was finished and called out I informed the server of her error and was told it was too late. I should have caused a scene but alas. Good food, but I would recommend ordering with a megaphone or other assistance to ensure they get the right thing.

Lovely staff and amazing bagels. Everytime I go the pizza bagel is already sold out. Some day Ill get one.

Bagels are amazing, also a fan of their homemade orange juice. The food is worth the money. But the place is REALLY dirty and some updating wouldnt hurt. Also, they never write the orders down and they have gotten my order wrong a few times.

Let me start by saying that I love the bagels at bagel time despite the unfriendly customer service at times. The BIG issue I have is the cleanliness. Each time I go, I notice the employees never wear gloves nor do they wash their hands before preparing the food. Many times, the person working the register will take my cash, give me change, and then go right to making the bagel with their bare hands. I’m always grossed out by the fact that a place with such spectacular food wouldn’t pay more attention to their cleanliness. It should go without saying that employees need to wear gloves when handling food.
