The absolute worst purchase experience I have ever had in my life.-3/4 of my sectional delivered a month after promised the 4th piece due a month after that-I paid “white glove” delivery and the delivery guys installed the feet wrong and left a stain on the couch, ripped the batting out of the bottom along the edge, and left packing material stapled to the bottom.When I pointed out the stain, the tech sprayed something on it wiped it and left before it dried. Tech didn’t speak English so I couldn’t communicate my concerns. The stain of course was still there when the spray dried.-They took a week to send a guy to fix this, who showed up late for a 2 hour appointment window and couldn’t fix the legs and didn’t have the tool/juice to fix the stain-The follow up appointment, the tech was a no show! The driver got in an accident in the morning but I wasn’t told that no one was coming until AFTER my service window.-third fix-it appointment window was 815-1030 am and is currently showing 130-2pm estimated arrival. Since I stayed home from work for this… again…I thought I’d take the time to write this review.Customer service is terrible at communicating. Getting someone on the phone is near impossible. The “chat “ feature on their site closes and switches to a new CSR if your screen locks or you need to look at another screen! Spent a fruitless hour of my time doing that last week.The sofa itself is great so far and the price was good. But it is absolutely not worth the hassle. DO NOT BUY HERE! If you do DO NOT pay for white glove delivery.All the damage in the photos attached to this review was damage or poor install by the “white glove” service I paid $200 for. You can see the 3 separate missed service appointments as well Unreal.

This place was honestly a great experience. Large selection of furniture, great prices and sales peers on was very helpful, attentive but not on us. She gave us space and came in when needed. Never rushed us.

BUYER BEWARE!! My story. I went to Bobs Discount Furniture in Fresno during Memorial Day weekend. I was shopping for a T.V. cabinet/dresser and accent chair. I found the dresser, but the chair I purchased was my 3rd choice because my 1st & 2nd choices wouldnt be available until NOVEMBER 2021. I was told many store items wouldnt be available until November because Bobs Discount Furniture is a huge discount furniture store with stores across the U.S. Delivery: the white dresser was delivered intact but had black smudge fingerprints on it (so much for white glove delivery promises). The chair, however, was MISSING LEGS. A few days later the replacement chair arrived with legs, but it looked darker and dingy, like I owned it for a couple of years. I said exactly that to the delivery person and he commented oh, it looks brighter outside. This kept bugging me, then I remembered I had taken a picture of the chair while in the store. When I compared them, I was right. I had received a dingy looking version of the chair I had purchased. Now let me backtrack a little here. I had spoken to their customer care (located in Canada they told me) and Id spoken to the store manager in person who promised my chair would be delivered correctly and hed instruct the delivery people to wipe away the black smudges from the dresser; which they didnt. Once again I called their customer care and was given a partial refund on the purchase price of the chair I now own. Hallelujah!! NORMALLY THEY DONT GIVE REFUNDS, BUT STORE CREDITS INSTEAD is what was told to me. Every time I look at this chair it pisses me off. Two things to consider 1) why buy from a store where stock is limited and wait times are MONTHS long (not weeks) and 2) why are shoppers being told theyll be refunded their money when their policy is to give store credits instead? This was my experience, so count me out! Bobs Discount Furniture is NOT for me! Lesson learned; I wont buy from a national chain, but a local company instead.

Would you like to enter an empty store with 15 unoccupied salesman just waiting to greet you and try to sell you things? Well this place is great for you...but it also feels like any other furniturw store with mediocre prices and sales people who wont leave you be. They were pleasent enough and professional, but not the experience Im looking for. Without being a complete jerk there was no way for me to peacefully browse the merchandise.

Greg was great. Very helpful and patient. Jordan was also very professional.I think the customer service at this bobs has been the best I have ever dealt with at this company.I was about to lose my faith in the company but these guys really care about their job.Thanks guys!

Very easy to use the app and shop online if you’ve been into a store prior. Just like all other furniture shops, most items are back ordered. But there are quite a few item in stock. Bob’s is the best; excellent quality at exceptional pricing.

The reclining sectional we bought a year ago is already tearing at the seams and the seats worn out. I spoke with the salesman extensively about the protection program and what it covers. I feel he lied. Nothing is covered. Even a torn seam. I wasted my money on both the sectional and the protection plan. People spend a lot of their hard earned money on furniture and it should last a lot longer than this. Shady. I will not return to this retailer and I will spread the word to bypass shopping with them.

We went to Bobs Discount Furniture and Ericka helped us out. She let us have space to browse, but was there when we needed her. She was dressed for success and was personable, knowledgeable and presented us with useful options as she answered all of our questions. We liked her and the furniture so we purchased a few items for our new apartment. I recommend visiting Bobs and their team members. Theyre fun and nice people. Five stars! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

My husband and I and just what we wanted at Bobs. Our salesman Steve was delightful. He welcomed us to the store then gave us time to look around. The store is bright and clean and well organized. Once we chose a few options Steve gave us all the information we needed to make the best choice. I had been shopping at other stores and the options that Bobs gave us for warranty and care were the best I found. I will recommend the store and Steve to anyone who asks.

I didn’t think walking in it was going to be easy to get what I was looking for. After talking to the sales associate, Antonio and letting him know what I wanted. He directed us to the right part of the store and answered all our questions about the furniture and materials we were looking for. It made the experience very enjoyable.

Jennifer was incredibly sweet and answered all of my questions. She wasnt in when I purchased the next day, but Frank made the process very quick and easy. Will be considering them again if I need a piece in the future!

First time visiting Bob’s discount Furniture, it was not what I expected at all. Such a nice selection and I was very happy with my purchases. Janet was so awesome and so helpful if you go there be sure to ask for her., as you will not be disappointed. Bob’s now has a customer for life. Great value great prices, and we had so many surprises when it came to services and warranties.

I have never had such an horrible experience with a furniture company. I ordered a house full of new furniture from multiple places and Bobs was by far the worse. I ordered online in November which I was warned there were shipping delays and thats fine. I went into the store to change my address and confirm my day to pick up at the store. Well the sales guy convinced me to upgrade to delivery because if I didnt I could get my stuff in peices at different times. Thought that was weird but ok. Doing this delayed the date I would receive my product by 18 days. My husband and I went in the next week to look around and confirm address change again. They said all is good. Now it was the day before delivery and I got a text saying they were delivering to my old address so I drove an hour into town to talk to the store in person to make sure they had CORRECT address... they did not so the lady changed it again and wrote a note to the driver and delivery team she ensured I would have my table the next day. Wouldnt you know it I got a call from the driver asking where I was because they were at my old address!!! They then has to reschedule my delivery a week later. It was delivered today and what I got was a cracked table that someone tried to cover up!!!!! This is ridiculous!! Now I have to wait until almost JUNE for a new table!! Worst service ever!! I will never recommend this company to anyone.

Very good customer service when they want to make a sale lol 😂 however when my sectional came in there was pieces to it missing. Took about 3 months after my purchase to receive some of them. Come to find out that one piece was missing still and when I called they tried giving me the run around. Notes were not noted in the account of previous calls so when I called them to check up on the part they had no idea what was going on. Now I was told to wait another month and a half to get one small part. We purchased mid March and and till this day my sectional isn’t complete.

This place was awsome the furniture is good quality at a good price... Marlene G was our sales associate and she was so helpful and nice and not to pushy or clinging... I have actually been to other furniture stores that we left running this week because the associates follow you like hawks and breathe down your neck and dont give you times to breathe or to think about what you want to purchase and why... Marlene was so helpful she gave us space when we needed it and wasnt too pushy and was just helpful in general i didnt feel pushed into a purchase that i would regret later .. i recommended this store and there furniture...

This one of the worst furniture places in Fresno. Everything was fine purchasing but first delivery stuff came dinged up so didnt take it. Next time things came in month by month for total of 4 months. And said interest starts after delivering last piece a year later. Well 10 months later Im getting interest and they claim they cant do anything. They lie to you and act as if they did nothing wrong. LEARN FROM ME STAY AWAY.

This was my first time at Bob’s and my husband and I needed our entire home furnished and my mother needed a few items including us needing a new bed and OMG did Bob’s deliver. Janet was our sales person who assisted us and I would give her 10 stars if I could!!! She went above and beyond to deliver an exceptional experience. She stayed past her shift to assist us and never made us feel rushed even though we were trying to speed up the process she insisted to answer any questions and really hunt for what we wanted. I can go on and on about Janet and how great she is but we were also impressed by the Amazon warranty and delivery/set up situation.

Nice sales people but this is not exactly Discounted furniture. Too much Vaneer furniture I prefer real solid wood which doesnt go with the word discount😅

We didnt feel rushed, being pushed to products, he just straight away explained how we can look at the prices and told us if we needed any help to let him know. We found the patio set we wanted (after visiting 5 other furniture stores) and I hailed him down. No gimmicks, just stated our options and we were able to finish transaction standing there and with a receipt we were on our way and expecting the delivery the same week. So excited! We will definitely be coming back because we need to replace our family room lounge set and we honestly loved how open the show room was. It was loaded with people, we could see pieces clearly. Bobs wasnt even on our agenda - we had been across the way visiting Ashleys when we saw Bobs and though to stop there since it was close. Glad we did! Love this furniture store

Went into the Fresno Bobs Discount Furniture two weekends ago to look for a Dinning set to go with a cabinet that I already had. I was met by a lovely young lady named Erica. She was awesome. Hands down the best service Ive ever had at a furniture store. She took the time to find me the perfect set for my needs. The best part was that it was in stock and I was able to pick it up soon after. I also met some of the managers when I was there(Dan The Man, Hector and Enrique) and all 3 of them were awesome. Dan helped me load up the set into my truck. Got it home and after a quick assembly it looks perfect. Thank you Bobs and especially a big thank you to Erica for all your help. Your the best :)

This review isnt necessarily for the product since I have not received anything just yet. Its mostly for the store and the sales person that took care of me during my visit. Greg, was such a patient man let me tell you! First, we ordered a set of couches and he ran my credit. Second, we ordered a bedroom set for my mother and finally one for myself. Throughout the entire process he was very present and informative. At one point we were spending a lot of cash and I asked if he could throw in a childs chair on them and he tried but his boss was a frugal man I didnt care for! His boss came over to check the transaction on his tablet and to introduce himself. Honestly, no wow factor for me since it was superficial and he did nothing for us! All the while I watched other sales persons walk clients out quickly without placing an order. I later saw those same clients walking across the lot to Ashleys. Greg remained vigilant and respectful. He gave us our space to discuss details and helped us each step of the way. He is awesome! If you go see him, tell him Pam sent you so he knows Ive written this positive review about him!

Abby was great!! Everyone we encountered was friendly. When walking in, we were quickly greeted and then pointed in the direction of what we were looking for. At first I couldn’t recall Abbys name, but she found us and was able to assist us. She was very knowledgeable about her products and if she didn’t know; she quickly found out. She wasn’t pushy with her sales either! That’s one major thing I loved.

Such a great, simple experience! It was our first time being at Bobs Furniture. The store felt very safe and clean - they took our forehead temp and gave hand sanitizer at the door, which I appreciated. We knew what we were looking for but had fun wandering around looking at the options - great variety in styles, sizes and prices. When we were ready, Abby immediately came to assist and answered all our questions. She was helpful and really fun to work with; I highly recommend her! Loved the look and price of our sectional couch (under $1000 even with delivery and an optional protection plan). Overall it was a great experience and we will definitely be back.

We had very bad experience here. We ordered dining set and the table top the delivered was broken and then rescheduled a new on 5 times came cracked. Besides calling them and asked them to check before sending the table but nobody bothered.

They have very good quality of furniture at a price anyone can afford. Very nice customer service and the air conditioner was a very welcomed experience on a hot day. I will be shopping there again. Thanks Abby!

My Friend and I were looking for couches and The staff was very helpful. They have music playing and a lot of staff running around. The place wasn’t too busy and they had good prices. The sales people don’t hound you and stand over you like some other places. We liked that they respected our space and took our temperature at the door. Really enjoyed the place.

Absolute WORST experience with a furniture store and WORST customer service. I have never been lied to by so many people at one company. Words cannot even explain how disrespected I feel by this company. Now Im having to file a complaint with their corporate office. Id go into all the details but theres just TOO MUCH to explain. I suggest you spend your money elsewhere, I sure wish I did. Save yourself the heartache and hassle. This company is GARBAGE! I will never come back and I will never refer anyone to go there. I will go out of my way just to tell people how horrible of an experience this has been. Thats how angry I am! I hate liars.

I called with a few questions about delivery. My rep, John, was friendly, patient, and extremely helpful. I have a close move date, and he took the time out to check what was in stock what wasn’t. He also waited while I looked for an alternate piece of furniture because the one I selected wouldn’t be available for a month. The whole process was simple and quick, and John was a delight to deal with!

Erica was very friendly and helpful. She pointed me in the direction of what I was looking for, explained where I could find pricing info, and let me browse uninterrupted. She was nearby if I had any questions, but not in a creepy way. I liked the selection and how many pieces come in various colors etc. The furniture seems affordable for real furniture that you don’t have to put together yourself.

DO NOT!!! Purchase anything from Bobs Discount Furniture you will be promised a delivery date and never get your items as promised. We ordered and paid for items on 3/7/21 and were suppose to receive on 3/25/21 we were told our items didnt come on the truck and theyd be here on 4/8/21. I called on 4/8/21 and was advised once again they didnt come in and would be here for sure on 4/15/21. On 4/15/21 my husband called and was advised items were in and it was okay to pick up we had our son in law meet us there. When my husband got there to pick up the items they told him our items were NOT IN and there would be a delay because of a fire. The entire staff at the Fresno store have no idea what the heck there doing. Find somewhere else to buy you furniture. If I could theyd get Zero Stars but that option isnt available.

Cross was very attentive and knowledgeable about not only the products themselves but also the purchasing process. He was very clear in all communication in person and via text. There was no hassle, no desperate need for a sale and he was able to meet me where I was and make sure I was happy with my purchase. Cross went above and beyond and because of my fantastic experience I would recommend this store to everyone.

Nice furniture @ a good price. Furniture was delayed a bit but were in a Pandemic and I understand some things are out of their control. The sales men were professional and courteous.

When a furniture piece arrived with a manufacturing defect on delivery day, I was able to quickly get the issue resolved due to Leslie’s professionalism and accommodation. I have worked in retail before, and I can confidently say that she represents the essence of customer service, which speaks volumes of Leslie, as well as Bob’s Furniture and their sales/management staff. I am very satisfied with my experience here and will come back again if I have the opportunity!

Ordered and paid for furniture in May and delivery scheduled for end of June. Rescheduled to July, then August. 3 days before delivery received a call postponing to October. Canceled order. Guess we gave them an interest free loan for 3 months.
