Havent been here in a bit due to distance, but still a fantastic shop that with a solid selection. Shame to hear about losing the fantastic gunsmith they had.

I went to this place a few years ago. I found a shotgun there that I wanted to buy. It had a tag with the price on it. I told the owner that I wanted the shotgun. He told me that he couldnt sell it right now because his daughter had the ffl not him. I return three days in a row. On the third day he was set to sell but at the counter he increased the selling price by $50. When I questioned the price he said the tags where for tax purposes.

Very cool and friendly staff that was never annoyed by my daily calls to see if a specific handgun was in stock. Once it was in when I called, they held onto it for me until I showed up later that day. Their process was efficient and were never condescending or rude through my numerous question. If they werent located so far away from me, Id visit more often.

Really nice guys. Small shop so things are a bit pricy but if you have a little extra to spend see these guys not the big storesAnd a big selection of hand guns, way bigger than others in the state

I have now been to Gartman Arms dozens of times. I have purchased numerous things from them. The guys here are great. They aren’t intimidating, they are friendly, easy to talk too, funny and just the type of guys you want to stop in and chat with. They are welcoming which is a breath of fresh air in the firearm industry. They welcome anyone regardless of gender, race, age, etc. I’ve seen this first hand numerous times while in the shop.They are knowledgeable, no pressure, allow you to take your time and always willing to go the extra mile to ensure you understand what you are buying.I really encourage folks to stop by here and support this local small business. I pretty much go here for all my firearm needs. Yes I’ve done my fair share of visiting other shops around MA but I seem to always go back to Gartmans where I feel the most comfortable and welcomed. Even if they don’t have exactly what I want they will try to get it and hold for me. Or you stop in randomly and you’ll be surprised with what is in the case or on the shelves.I look forward to stopping by Gartmans for regular visits. I hope to continue supporting them through the crazy times in the firearm industry and in hopefully normal times again soon.Thanks again for being a great business!!********************* Update for 04/02/21: stopped in again today for an ammo run and once again the treatment from these folks is incredible. Welcomed me and showed me a firearm they knew I was highly interested in from prior visits. Ended up purchasing it along with some ammo. Chatted with them a bit and had some laughs. Gartmans is pretty much my only go to now.I also want to note while I was there a female customer came in alone to purchase her first gun. The level of respect they had for her was so nice and refreshing to see. They made her feel so comfortable and welcomed, answered all her questions and provided her great detail about the firearms she was interested in. No pressure at all, just incredible customer service and care.I can’t thank the Gartman Arms staff enough for the excellent service they have given me in all my times there and to all customers I’ve seen come in while I’ve been in the shop. Keep it up and look forward to my next visit. Your service goes a loooong way in keeping and gaining new customers!Update: Gartman just added two new staff members. Just wanted to mention how great they both have been. It goes to show the values of Gartman in hiring respectful, friendly, and customer service oriented staff.Was there on this past Wednesday. Found a really nice used firearm and ammo. I just want to say the team at Gartmans treated me so well once again. This place is awesome, Man central. If you like guns, rifles and such this is the place for you. Prices are good and staff is highly knowledgeable.

I had driven by this place like a million times and never stopped in until recently and I was pleasantly surprised with their inventory and friendly staff. Gartman Arms has some unique stuff to check out that other shops in the area dont. Stop and check them out!!!

Dealt with Dave over the phone on what I was Looking for, He had one in stock, Held it outback till I could get There. When I got There two Sales associate helped me Getting the paperwork out of the way, Answering the many questions I had on Holsters, different Ammo etc. Couldnt be any Nicer !!!! Called ahead to see what was in stock. Staff is EXTREMELY knowledgeable and know there firearms and local laws. The shop itself has some pretty cool war memorabilia all over the store. This store is amazing. All of the staff is extremely friendly and eager to help you with their knowledge and with any needs you have. They have competitive pricing and always have an outstanding stock of guns. They dont pressure you into buying something just to make the sale, they want to make sure youre comfortable with that you purchase. They are my go to gun shop.

My friend bought a .22 pistol from them and the experience was really good. They have a lot of cool old military arms as well as a wide array of new and used civilian firearms. One of the salesmen was willing to talk all day and answer any questions I had. There was no pressure at all to buy anything. They do have weird hours and it was the first time Ive been in there and I live literally 1 minute down the road so call to see if they are open first. I plan on going back soon to make my next gun purchase.

Excellent experience with Gartman Arms. I purchased a new Ruger 10-22 and a new Sig handgun there in the last 6 months. The staff is very friendly, the showroom looks awesome, and they were priced very competitively. They also stock lots of cool accessories. Both purchases I was able to walk out with cleaning supplies, mags, holsters, slings, ammo, etc to go with my new guns. The guys who work there are zero pressure, and make the states crazy gun laws a little easier to deal with. I will be a customer for life!

Great place. They answer any questions you may have and dont rush you into a purchase. Regular guys who give you their honest opinion even if it means not buying from them.

These guys are awesome, I needed a fire arm for work and while I did know what I wanted the staff were helpful and made the process painless and did not try to sell me a million different things. I will be back for anything else I need.
