Current customer or better say VICTIM of Norfolk Power Equipment. I cannot give zero stars so one it is.This place is an absolute CON with fast talkers and swindlers that will take your money and leave you with nothing.Brought in my equipment for maintenance and a few repairs. Dropped it off in July 2021. It is now October 19, 2021 and I still do not have it back. Not only that, but they keep adding things to repair on my equipment. The cost now is equal to buying a new one and I am stuck with a unit that according to Norfolk Power still needs more work.Run, dont walk away from this place. Take your equipment and money somewhere else where they will not try to rob you blind.Unprofessional, sleazy business!The good reviews in here must be family and friends padding the ratings because anyone who has real dealings with these people is left ripped off and angry.Report them to the BBB. I will.

80$ to tighten 2 bolts on a 201tc. The heating shield broke loose told me it was fixed. I picked it, in the same exact condition. 100$ an hour for labor and you cant fix a heat shield and then lied said it was fixed. Never again.

Parts department is incompetent. They Will not answer phone calls 90% of the time. And when they do they order the wrong parts. Kubota should find a new distributor. Sales isn’t any better either they will keep telling you your new piece of equipment you’ve paid for in full will be in in 2 weeks for months. Not worthy of one star but no other option to chose. They offer a wide range of equipment and stand behind it with their robust service organization.Nate in the service department has been especially excellent in finding pragmatic and practical solutions to the jams we sometimes find ourselves in. Always a pleasure to work with, and he has a deep level of domain expertise across a wide set of equipment.Norfolk Power is not my closet Kubota dealer, but they are worth traveling the extra miles to get great customer service. Great place! The Service Manager is so helpful, he walked me through how to get the right chain and repair my chain saw. Now it works great! He took the time to make sure I understood all the steps to safely clean unit and replace chain. Saw works great now. I really appreciate their excellent customer service and they care about their customers. FIVE STAR SERVICE, support this local business.

I have never had a problem with the quality of work with their service department. They always fix our broken equipment correctly and without issue. Occasionally there communication is a little slow with updates on timing, especially during the busy times of the year. In the end I would recommend the service and sales departments. Pricing is fair and the people who work here are nothing but friendly.

Two Thumbs down, I have a small Honda snow blower the cost to change less than 1 quart of oil and 1 spark plug is greater than an oil change on my 2014 BMW X3 at the dealer!. When you leave your machine there for service it is stored outdoors till they get to it. Grossly over priced.....

Bottom of the barrel. Called first thing in the morning to beat the rush. Spoke to a salesperson, chose a lawnmower, paid for it over the phone. Went to pick it up, they had sold my unit, no more to be had. Salesman laughs in my face and says Ha, there were four of these here this morning! Got way too big to do good business, go elsewhere.

I went for the service of my slow blower repair, so their service is terribly bad . Even that Unit is brand new and never been used, Unfortunately estimation cost higher than cost of the equipment . Even manufacture of that Unit it self surprised with it . SO I WILL NOT RECOMMEND SERVICE WITH THAT COMPANY .To my knowledge not even reliable of their service.

I was directed to Norfolk Power by the manufacturer of my leaf vacuum. I called the Wrentham location called to ask how long it would take to get my Billy Goat leaf vacuum repaired (new transmission) and was told minimum two and maximum three weeks. So I loaded up the machine same day and drove down there. When checking the machine in I confirmed the timeline only to be told minimum 4 weeks maximum 6 weeks. What a con.

Absolutely terrible. I’ve bought over 30,000$ in just lawn mowers here. My stander x needed a brand new Kawasaki engine last year because there Kawasaki engines where absolutely terrible the year I bought it. It was under warranty and then this year the same exact thing happens. Needs a new engine. We didn’t even put 250 hrs on the new engine and it has to be replaced and there saying I have to pay for a new engine. So what for your guys warranty you put a POS engine on it so in less the a year it blows up and the customer has to pay 2500$ for a new one?? Absolutely worst experience with these guys in service and we’ll never buy another thing from this place.

Had been trying to make a purchase from them since the 14th of March. Each day we went in we were told to come back the next day because they would DEFINITELY have it in then. Thankfully we live close because each day prior to showing up we’d try calling sales, and no one answered. After two weeks of this going on we finally called the front desk. The front desk immediately hears that you’ve been trying to get in touch with sales and transfers your call with out giving you a second to explain yourself. They finally got the product in and had to process the steel. Same situation was told it would be ready in a few hours. Finally got in touch with someone who was very rude on the phone and said it would be at least a few days. Couldn’t ever make the purchase. VERY disappointed

Purchased a Cub Cadet snowblower in Carver a few months ago. Had to approach someone at the parts department after walking the empty showroom floor for a few minutes because there apparently no salesperson on the floor. Not impressed, but still bought it.Went in today to the same store to purchase the same machine for my father-in-law.Had the exact same experience. No salesperson on the floor and finally went up to one of the two gentlemen at the parts counter and was told I had “go find a salesperson.”Walked down to where he pointed and stood in the doorway of an office with a gentleman sitting in it. Nothing. So, I walked. With my money.I ran a motorcycle dealership in Natick a million years ago with 3 lines of motorcycles and two lines of power products. All departments in the shop watched out for each other. If a parts person was approached about buying something off the floor the response was, “Hi, thanks for coming in. Let me bring you over to one of our salespeople and they can help you.”Simple but apparently a lost art. Lesson learned.

Called in to order accessories for my 2018 Kubota B2601. Picked them up two weeks ago and found they had clearly sold me a box blade and snowblower that had been stored outside for what looks like over a year. I checked the receipt and it was all 2017 equipment. Disappointing to pay full price for old stuff. Now they don’t call me back, huge surprise. Next time I’ll go to New Hampshire to avoid sales tax and probably get better service too. Seems like their problem is ownership, employees all seem nice and knowledgeable.

Bought my snowblower from them. Just called to have it serviced (Its Nov. 27th), and they said it would be 6 to 7 weeks before I could have it back. I thought buying locally would mean I would have someone to service my machine, but with turnaround being well into January, I am going to have to look at other options. They have a good selection, but dont buy from them expecting any sort of preferential service or care. Youre in line with everyone else.

Mid week the first week in April I dropped of a mini excavator for repairPrior to doing so I called to check on the lead time for diagnosing what needed to be repaired. I was told two days at the most. At the time of drop off a service person named joe confirmed two days. I waited nine then called to check. As of nine days machine had yet to make it in the shop.Eventually on the 16th of the month I rec a message not on the number left at the time of drop off.After some back and fourth I was told parts needed to be ordered and it would be another 9 days. Now totaling 21 days for a quoted 2-3 hours labor. Operationally something is wrong.On top of it all they quoted me 8800.00For the second part of the repair that I was quoted 1400.00 from a traveling repair service.I’ve know Glenn (owner) and family since the mid 90s. Recently it seems as though business is disorganized and out of control. The above experience along with last year dropping a 7k mower off to my shop without me actually buying it has me wondering.I would say be careful buy what’s in stock

Top notch service on older machine. We have a 20 year old Ariens snow blower that Norfolk Power has been servicing for the past 10 years or so. We call in July, they pick up the machine, they call with an estimate, they service the machine then deliver it back - simple as it gets. They showed their true colors however when we had a problem after the machine was delivered back to us this year. There was a fuel leak, when Wayne (their road service person) came to look at it, he located the problem, took it with him, and they returned it fully repaired in a few days time. When we used the machine in the first storm, it ran a bit rough. One phone call, and Wayne came right back and made the proper adjustments right in our driveway. We never hear any push to get a new machine, they really get it when it comes to service. True professionals, well never use anyone else, and when we need a new machine, were going to them.

Dale was extremely helpful with my recent snowblower issue. Based on the details he supplied to me about the repair he must have a good relationship with the mechanics. The cost to repair was reasonable (Ive been taken over the coals in the past by several other shops). I bought my Ariens snowblower and Husqvarna backpack blower for my residence here. Sale staff was knowledgeable and made sure I didnt buy something too big or small. Their prices are comparable to online. And by buying these here I get a certain priority, something those who buy from the big-box stores seem to forget.
