Love that place. Forgot the exact shrub we needed. Showed them a picture. Then they nailed it. Went home and planted it in the rain.

We had the most wonderful experience repotting a baby tree that my daughter grew from a seed. Bruce the Spruce is very happy in his new soil and pot. Thank you Mary for all your help today!

I purchased two very expensive Alocasia from here and they both had Root Rot. I was waiting to see if I could save them to write out this review but I just had to throw away the last of the two because of it rotting both plants completely. I was excited about this being a new stop for my houseplants but after this experience I can definitely say I will never shop here again. Houseplant Moms and Dads beware of this place, especially if you are paying 180$ for two plants.

This place has everything for your outdoor gardening needs, but I was there for the houseplants/tropicals. Let me tell you, Flowerland did not disappoint. The selection was fantastic and the prices were reasonable. It’s almost a 3 hour drive, but I will definitely go back when I’m near Grand Rapids. Who am you I kidding? I’d probably make the trip just to go to Flowerland. 🤣

Love getting my vegetable plants here. Employees are so helpful. Answers for all my questions. Excellent selection. They helped me save my tomatoes last year. Nailed in infestation and showed me how to use products. All cured in days.

I had a issue with my bushes in the front yard and needed some advice on what to do so I stopped in at the fruit basket and got top notch service right away. Everyone I spoke with was very helpful and I was impressed with the knowledge.

They have a wide range of houseplants, succulents and exotic plants year round. Their vegetable, flower and garden plants are just as varied and always good quality. Huge selection of seeds, and bulbs. Outdoor furniture, wind chimes, kinetic wind sculptures, garden accessories. You name it. Everything to feed, weed and repel. Good prices on plants but hardware can be a bit pricey. Helpful and friendly staff. One of my favorite go-tos for my needs.

I came here in search of a birdbath. When I arrived at 10 to 7:00, I was rudely told that they were closing very soon. Lights were being turned off as we walked through the store and doors were being locked. It wasnt 7 yet. I wasnt really even given the opportunity to look around for what I wanted, which was close to a $200 bird bath. We were told where we could find the bird baths, and then basically told that we need to hurry up or the employee was going to lock us in the garden center. Seriously?I think next time I will just go somewhere else. Probably the highest prices in the city as well.

Certain employees(see photo) think they are too cute to work. I tried to ask for help and this employee just laid there napping on the bags of soil. 🐈

It is shameful that this company would turn away paying customers who choose to not wear a mask or cannot wear a mask due to health reasons. Especially a garden center of all places. You should understand the importance of fresh air. Not everyone is made the same. This company should give their customers the choice instead of forcing their will onto them. I now feel like a second-class citizen. This is no different than turning me away because I dont have the right skin color. Instead of supporting a local business I had to take my money to a big box store that wouldnt turn me away. This horrible policy will ultimately hurt the business more than it hurts me.

Finally found a bird bath that we like. Weve been looking for a few years!

Descent selection of flowers over priced but busy at times. My last resort if I need something well stocked during prime season.

Bird feeders, seeds, grills, lawn furniture...you can find it all at Flowerland. Entrance is around the side, so be mindful of that. Helpful staff but not annoying, cant ask for much more. Nice store.

I placed an order ahead of time, when I arrived I located my cart, order was correct but when I tried to check out the cashier refused to sell to me when I refused to cover my face. Horrible business practice to discriminate agaisnt people based on their disabilities and religious beliefs but I guess that seems to be the New Normal. I wont be recommending this place to anyone anymore.

I called ahead of time to make sure they still had house plants in stock before I drove an hour because I’m not from the area! I was pleasantly surprised with how much they had as well as the general health of all their plants; they were thriving! I will be back for sure! Overall one of my favorite places to shop for plants!

Horrible customer service. I was denied service for not covering my face and insulted by the owner and employees. This is unlawful discrimination and I will never shop there again. Employees engaged in insulting and intimidating behavior, calling the police on me even as I was leaving.

I have always loved Fruit Basket Flowerland. The Wyoming location is smaller than the other two but they still have everything I need. The staff is always friendly and helpful and Snickers the cat is fun to see roaming the store 🙂

The best service!! I dont remember the girls name who helped me (Lin maybe?), but she was so sweet! She gave me such good advice on how to care for the plants I was buying and seemed so excited to answer all my questions about the plants I already own :) 10/10 employee give that girl a RAISE!!

Beautiful selection of flowers but they can be slightly more expensive than other suppliers in the area. However, I like that it is smaller and makes finding what you want/need so much easier. Friendly staff. Good service. Bought a Xmas tree. Only after we put it up at home did we realize it was serpentine shaped. This tree never should have been put out for sale.

For being in an urban location, Flowerland has a good variety of plants and other garden necessities. Their staff are able to easily answer most gardening questions.Their prices do tend to be a little higher than most places, so I always check out their bargain bin for landscape plants.

I always appreciate the selection and quality of plants / merchandise that Flowerland has. Yes, I pay more than I would at the Home Improvement store but I get much better seeds / plants / merchandise. The plants / trees always grow in great and are never a disappointment. I also can find the unique variety there so my yard does not look just like the neighbors. The staff is also very knowledgeable and helpful. I know that I am getting the best when I shop at Flowerland.

Avoid and bring your business elsewhere.

I go there mostly to buy pre potted flowers. They always have a good selection, and a good stock of healthy flowers, plants, shrubs, and trees. The staff is always very friendly and helpfu. That being said theyre a bit on the pricey side so prepare to open up your wallet.

Flowerland is a local gem. Beautiful flowers and great design arrangements all year round. A great place to go for everything I need when planting my garden in May. I am a gardener that needs a bit of guidance. They are gardening experts that enable me to avoid gardening mistakes. My garden was so gorgeous last year I hated to go inside. Thanks Flowerland!

Doesnt support Veterans. We were having a Military Show and asked to put up a sign. We got permission from a manager AND part owner that the sign would be fine.. The main owner called the sign company saying we didnt have permission. I called Rick the owner to explain that we came in person to get permission for the sign. He was incredibly rude and hung up. I can only assume from his rudeness that he doesnt support Veterans causes and events. I have never in my life met a business owner so offensive.

I was disappointed to realize that the sign out front of the Wyoming store advertising all holiday decorations 40-50% off was not true. I was told that the little decorated tabletop decoration wasnt discounted as advertised. But....they said ALL. Bah humbug.

I bought over $100 worth of periannual plants. Had yo tjrough them all away after 3 weeks. White flys little ones killed all of them. Never had this problem before . Never will i nuy from them again
