Yakima has a great information center! I moved from Spokane a while ago, but had never stopped by until this week. Needed a local map, but got a lot more! Great gift shop, free apples from the area, and wine tasting of local vineyards. Fantastic!

Ive lived here for two years, but it wasnt until an out-of-town visitor took me with him to the Visitor Center that I discovered all its wonders. They have wine and beer tour maps, hiking trail guides, local event calendars, gifts, cards, local crafts (including jewelry), locally made food baskets and much more. And the people who work there are so friendly and knowledgeable!
