Favorite grocery store in Yakima. They have hands down the best meat dept in town. Wide aisles, and very pleasant and helpful staff.

The help and personal service is excellent. We are an older couple and when the checker said he would get someone to help, we said we could just carry the bags. Oh no, he had a young woman walk out to our car with us and drive the electric cart back to the store! So much appreciated by this old lady who has a difficult time walking!

These folks are do it right. Been shopping here for years but only reviewing for months. They will not disappoint in their quality of product all while ensuring your trip does not go amiss with friendly and helpful staff. They arent Walmart cheap but you will literally feel better while shopping.A few highlights from my experiences there. Their meat department is something I visit even if meat isnt on the menu. Good meat, great butcher(meat cutter ?) - chatting with any of them will leave you smiling. Their produce has held up and looks sharo, though I rarely see them tended too, the produce employees seem to be the unseen heroes. Lastly Id like to mention the pharmacy. They get it right but have the typical wait (I have never had a no wait pharmacy, so no points off for that).Come shop, feel good and live well.

Rosauers is my favorite store. However, its a lot further from my house when I make a run to Lowes or Costco and sometimes I find myself at WinCo. I dont like to beg my own groceries. I told my daughter when you get older youre willing to pay a little bit more to have somebody beg your groceries and at least asked you if youd like help to the car. There are no screaming yelling children in Rosauers, crowded Isles. I know where everything is in Rosauers. Checkers are always friendly

I love this store. Its a little spendy but carries the specialty items I need. Its always clean and well stocked. Probably my favorite supermarket in town.

Clean facility, knowledgeable staff and a wide selection of food and high end or organic products. Good liquor selection and their butcher has some high class meats! I always go here when I am in the area.

My visit was at about 8 pm, and I immediately wondered if this was a new Rosauers...I live in Spokane, and am well familiar with Rosauers. I used to ride my bike to the 5-mile location to get a nickel cup of coke from the vending machine inside, about 50+ years ago.Anyway, entering the Yakima site, I was greeted immediately by a house made camping scene, perfect for the season, and remarkably detailed. It took my breath away.Just a few steps further in, there was another very springy display.Aside from that, the store was well lit, well stocked, very clean, and set up nicely.I mentioned all this to the smart woman in the courtesy booth, and she gave credit for the displays to the receiving department and I think, the person who checks pricing through the store daily. I thought that even more remarkable, that those people take that much ownership.My visit made me want to come back to THIS Rosauers, and soon!

Rosauers used to be the best place in town to buy a dozen donuts but not anymore. You get less for more money nowadays.The donuts are overcooked, smaller & have less frosting but yet they charge like $2.00 more than they use to.

I used to like this store but the last two times I was in, they treated me like I was suspicious, I was minding my own business and not acting sketchy in any way so this was completely unacceptable treatment. A female attendant stood right next and watched me which made me feel more nervous and violated my privacy. Also we’re in a pandemic, having personal space is my human right. I wanted privacy and wanted to be in and out quick, I didn’t want a bunch of people crowding me I just want to get my thing and go. Then the other attendant rudely told me I had to go to another counter for the Coinstar, I pointed out to her that I didn’t go there because no one was there when they should have been. Then when I got there the woman at the counter was not friendly did not make eye contact and was very rude again. Honestly it’s NOT okay to treat loyal customers who have come there for years with suspicion like they are a criminal for literally no reason at all. The business model is supposed to be friendly and treat people with respect. It’s not alright to treat a customer like they are guilty and make them feel bad for no reason at all when they’ve done nothing wrong.

This platform should not be used as an outlet for airing ones grievances, in my opinion, but this is an actual account of my experience(s) whenever I visit Rosauers on 72nd Avenue in Yakima. I am of Mexican descent and perhaps I carry a certain aura or look that makes others view me in a particular light. I dont know. What I guess bothers me is the uncomfortable feeling I get when just about everyone else in the store appears to be at the very least, wary of my presence. On occasion I encounter an individual that seems to be perplexed or even outright frightened when our paths cross but certainly not to this degree. I could be more descriptive but I am just attempting to share my most recent experience when visiting this grocery store. In this day and age, we as human beings shouldnt judge others in any particular way. How else does one rid themselves of something that destroys cohesiveness than to attack it, not promote it

I really appreciate Rosauers. They have a good selection of groceries, produce, and bakery items and the staff are always friendly and attentive. I like to use my own reusable bags for groceries and produce, and I bring reusable containers for bulk items. They are totally chill and accommodating about it and even tare the weight of my bulk containers and give me a bag credit for using my own bags! Prices are reasonable, too. You have won me over!

The store is always clean and well stocked. The produce is fresh and so is the meat. But what makes this store unique is its staff. They are always extremely friendly, upbeat, and helpful. Every single experience I have had there has been an outstanding one. Their staff is happy to interact with customers, regarding them in a friendly and courteous manner. I appreciate that when I shop there that I feel treated with respect by the staff instead of with vague annoyance I usually feel at other grocery chains. This place is definitely a step above and beyond.

I have shopped here before and thought it was great. I went yesterday and it was a whole different story, I was very unhappy with my experience. The produce person didn’t even acknowledge I was right beside him nor move a bit so I could get what I wanted. I had to reach around him. The rest of the employees were too busy talking to each other to even approach with a question. The checker was rude and arrogant!! I brought his attention to something and instead of thanking me he said “ya, I saw”. I will never go back to this store again!!

Friendly and polite

The store is always clean inside. Everyone I have come in contact with has been very friendly and helpful. I hear grumbling from others about the prices, but I’d rather pay the extra for this place. It’s hard explain why the atmosphere is better than the other stores I’ve explored, but I do highly prefer this place.

My favorite store for shopping and for taking some stress away. Great deals on frozen departments and available bulk food in meat department and in your fresh nut, coffee, and bread departments. Offer special diet products that are not available in other stores. Take a break in their deli/coffee department its affordable and tasty.

I love this grocery store, but I mainly come for the bakery. Their baked goods rival any stand-alone bakeries in town. You can also find varieties of candy here that arent offered elsewhere. Regular grocery prices are somewhat higher than bigger chains, but their 12 hour sales are fantastic deals and their quality produce is fabulous.

We have been shopping at Rosaurs in Yakima, WA, for many years. They have fresh produce from the USA. which we really enjoy.Their meat is always fresh and high quality. You can buy wrapped meat, a good variety of luncheon meats, hot dogs, hams and other processed meats. They also have a fresh meat counter where you can choose from a variety of meat, poultry and fish.Their in-store deli offers lots of good food ready to eat...from chicken to cheeses to salads, and other things.Their in-store bakery offers cakes, cookies, breads, rolls, donuts...and so much more.They have an awesome frozen foods section, and milk, juice, cheeses, eggs, snack foods and so much more.They have a great health foods section. (Huckleberries) There you can purchase from a good selection of health foods -frozen organic foods, many vegetarian items, and other items.They also have a variety of non-grocery items such as hardware, magazines, health care, and a full service pharmacy.I am sure I missed some items and departments.Their prices are competitive and the best thing about Rosaurs is that theiremployees are customer service oriented and friendly and we enjoy shopping there.

Rosauers is a very friendly market, with a large selection of groceries, well labelled aisles, and a great bulk section. They do not have a membership card, so all of their sale items are available at the lower price to anyone who comes into the store.Also, I have never had to wait very long at all for check out.

Okay so this the place to shop for produce and deli! UNFORTUNATELY THE DELI MANAGER OR WORKERS JUST SEEM like they dont want to do the job... poor customer service by far in deli department just seems like they lack passion for what they do ....just there to collect a paycheck if you dont want to make a sandwich then dont have them on menu..... Wheres the passion for what your paid to do?

Rosauers has been my main store of groceries for almost a year now. I have been pregnant for half the time I have been shopping there, and the people that work there have been so thoughtful to me. Insisting I get help out to my car, and just positive attitudes all around.Today they made me tear up with their thoughtfulness and customer service. I shopped there for food items with the intention to have a class party at the high school I work at. I could not afford all the items on the list, so i took off a few things. I apologized for the inconvenience as it was a lot of work for them to ring everything up and then take items off. They were so patient with me. Then they gave me one of the most kind gestures I have ever received. One of the workers came out as I was walking to my car and put all the items I could not afford on my cart. He said tell your kids happy birthday as it was going to be a birthday themed party. He gave me a big hug as I said thank you so much in complete shock at this gesture. I am still in shock of such a kind gesture.Thank you rosauers for being so generous and kind.
