I had rocker lockers, tires, and a new belt and sprocket installed on my 2007 Road King. Other than the tires, all work performed was substandard.When I first picked up, I rode 7 blocks and parked at work. Came out after work to notice oil beneath and all around front of engine. Bad batch of gaskets., was the excuse, sure. It was obvious they NEVER test rode after doing the work or the rocker locker oil leaks/spew would have been noticed. Brought it back, picked it up, still leaking (Ive never had even a minor weep on this bike). Got that taken care of (more bad batch of new gaskets) with another stay at shop. Picked it up, rode it a little more than 1,000 miles and the new sprocket came loose at 65MPH on the interstate...lucky it didnt lock up rear wheel. Though they did offer to come the 2.5 hrs to pick my bike up and to repair it for the cost of parts, at this point Id made the decision I was done with them and had JL do the repairs, meaning I paid twice plus for the work.I had discussed all this with Phil the owner, my displeasure with work performed, the repeat returns for simple work, and the fact I had to pay for same work over in 1,000 miles of riding. We came to an agreement, he stated he would refund me for the cost of the replacement sprocket plus part of the new wheel. The agreed amount was $500 which, when I went to pick up the money, he changed his mind on our agreement.Summation: I wouldnt bring a bicycle to this shop for them to work on for fear it would have an oil leak when I picked it up. They would not and will not stand behind the work performed or parts they sell. This was one very expensive lesson for me...dont make the same mistake, take your motorcycle work to a reputable shop, this one isnt it!Pops you should be ashamed for going back on your word! Guess Id mis-read you as a straight-shooter.THEY DONT STAND BY THEIR WORK AND DONT KEEP THEIR WORD. CAVEAT EMPTOR.

Thanks to Phill and his wife we were able to get home to River Falls WI. They went above and beyond for us and we are so appreciative. We werent able to get it fixed due to not having the part but he personally helped us get home! Thanks Phill!

We broke down on a Friday night north of Yankton. I had the bike towed to Pops and left if under the awning with a note I left a voicemail on his phone. He isnt scheduled to open until 10am on Saturdays but he called me at 830 and asked me how he could help. Thankfully my shift linkage issue is a fairly common malady and he had the parts and had me back on the road that morning. He specializes in Harley Davidson and Hondas but will work on anything. I brought my Ducati too Pops as it was a used bike. After talking to Pops we came to find out there were a lot of wrong parts put into it. Along with many other parts. He found.me everything at a good price and quality work. Being its an Italian bike most parts came from Italy OEM, so a lot of it was a waiting game. So 6 months later its done!!! The time was not Pops fault, most of it was waiting on parts. All in all very satisfied.

I broke down just outside of Yankton on Thursday on my way to Sturgis, we trailered into town and found Pop and one of his mechanics Cole still in the shop at 2000 hrs. He was willing to start working on it immediately. Do to the unavailability of necessary parts it took him until Saturday morning to get it finished up which was above and beyond, in my opinion. I would Highly recommend Pops Kustoms. Awesome, professional, courteous, service.
