Central Auto Body Collision is absolutely brilliant. My car was making a horrid grinding noise that needed to be fixed. I had taken my car to one shop, and it was a nightmare they told me I needed several things replaced. They quoted an insane price, I really felt they were trying to take advantage of me, and didn’t trust them and left.I wanted another opinion to confirm & did some research and found central auto body collision and made the trip from the Bronx to Yonkers to see what they thought the issue was. The owner and his staff were extremely friendly, professional, helpful, and informative. They explained what was going on with my car and told me that I needed new pads & rotors. The price quoted was an affordable price. Not only that, but they did the repairs to my car without an appointment and allowed me to wait.I am beyond pleased and highly recommend Central Auto Body Collision if you’re looking for an amazing trustworthy mechanic. Al at Central Auto Body is the best. I’ve been taking my 25-year-old Jeep (with 185k miles) to him for over 12 years and he is the sole reason it still runs. (He knows how much I love that old Jeep.) He is honest, reasonably priced, and always explains exactly what needs to be done, which I appreciate more than I can say. Plus he will always fit me in whenever I call, not like most other auto repair places who make you wait days (or longer). Everyone needs a mechanic they can trust and Al is most certainly your man!

Could be wrong but Im pretty sure I just dropped 30 dollars for nothing. Guy s were supposed to rotate tires but my rear right tire which is missing a hub cap is in the same spot. Didnt notice till I left. Not worth going back to confront. Shame. Owners seem nice but, I guess Ill just do it myself from now on. Lesson learned

The staff members are extremely professional; I don’t normally trust auto shops to do work on my car; but the first time I used their service I went for something small so I could get a vibe; I was so impressed and so completely satisfied. I can trust that the service is done professionally and on time. Most of the time when you put your car in the shop.... you have to keep calling them to see how things are going or if your car is ready and all that kind of stuff..,.... here.... you don’t have to do that...... they call you and keep you updated on the status and all....This shop is is all bout business; you wont get the run around; you won’t get the....chop shop side job work done on your car ..you just simply get what is needed to perfection....this shop is excellent..... the prices are great; the work is factory style; the location is great; the customer service is extremely professional and all together that just makes perfection. I can’t say anything negative about the shop because there’s nothing negative about it. I’m sure if you use their service once you will definitely become a regular at this shop. Al and Steve are very professional and nice. Their staff did such a great job replacing my rear bumper! I went in on a Friday, they ordered the parts that came in on Monday and they replaced it within a day. My car was brand new all over again including how clean it was on the inside! 10/10 recommend Central auto body collision shop. After having my exhaust system ripped out by a local car wash company, I took my car here immediately. Al is the gentleman who helped me out big time. My car was there for about three weeks due to my busy schedule and being out of town. He understood and accommodated. After my new exhaust system shipped to the shop, two days later it was ready for pick up! Not only did they install the new system, they washed my car SUPER clean right before I picked it up. After this experience I’m only taking my car here.

Ive been taking my car here for all of its general maintenance since I moved to the area about 3 years ago and these guys treat me and my car so well! They provide excellent service and I trust them 100%. I dont know much about cars, but on multiple occasions Ive asked them to take a look at my car and they have suggested to do nothing or said its fine. I feel like other mechanics in the past have just done something and charged me in these scenarios. Its also always been very easy to arrange times to get work done, usually i just call when im on my way and they are able to accommodate me and provide quick service. I’ve been coming here for service for over 10 years. I got into an accident and was taken to Central Auto body for repair. I was treated so well that my family and I haven’t thought about going anywhere else for any kind of service.

Must read this if you are very detail oriented like me. You want a place that is trustworthy, reliable and professional please do yourself a favor and go with these guys. Al and Steve are amazing and still amaze me until this day. My German car was rear ended twice and on the first occasion I had taken it to the dealer who had a body shop. The second time I was rear ended (I know my luck!) I took it to Central Auto Body Collision since they are so close to my home. I must tell you it is the best decision I made, and I would never take my cars to any other place. They found things that were not fixed correctly before and they even took care of for me. I got to see all of it with my own eyes the day I went there. My family and I know cars and I can tell you these guys are the real deal. I would not trust any work done to my cars that is not them. My car came back looking AMAZING. I feel safe and in peace knowing things are being done correctly. A year later I came in to install new front brake pads on a new-used car I bought, and Al and Steve did not charge me. They are truly great people who I would not think twice to recommend.

Al has to be the nicest guy in the business. I brought him a preowned car I recently purchased with some concerns that it might have been in an accident (it was not though). Al never met me before but told me to come in. When I got in he put the car on the lift and did a very thorough inspection and said I had nothing to worry about. He then educated me on the issue. Overall he spent a lot of time with me and didnt even charge me. When I insisted me take money, he refused. He is a class act. Theres a reason for the great reviews this shop receives.

My new truck was recently in a hit and run and I didnt hesitate to take it to central auto body, my family has been going to this location for some years now and no one has ever had an issue at all what so ever. We’ve received advice a few times from them and besides the last experience which took 3 weeks for a bumper fix on a Mazda CX-5 2017 they look out for your best interest to make sure the car is getting fixed to its best. Would recommend.

Steve and Al run a first class auto body and repair shop. I went to them for a cracked windshield replacement, they went out of their way to help me get my insurance to cover the job using OEM glass under the full glass coverage. This involved a lot of hassle and back and forth over 6 weeks, but we did finally get it done right. On the day of repair, they also gave me a free ride to/from train station. Their prices are reasonable (fully reimbursed by the insurer in my case), their shop clean and respectful, and they also do inspections. Definitely recommend you stop by with your issue and see the difference of using them for yourself!

I have been going to this place for years and by far the most trustworthy guy you could ask for. I moved away at one point for a couple years and upon my return he recognized my voice and remember my cars. We have turned to Central Auto Body several times, most recently for major collision related work on our new 2019 Volvo XC90 T6 and cosmetic work on our 2006 Ford Mustang. Al, Steve and their crew take pride in doing the job right and dont cut corners. Both cars looked brand new, like they just rolled off the dealers lot. There is one thing that is undervalued in business (and society) and that is courtesy. And thats exactly what I got from Al and his team yesterday when I was looking for a place to help me install my front license plate and also change the NY registration sticker to the correct side (female, first time car owner... I thought it does not matter what side of the windshield its one - lol :-) Trust me, its really hard to remove that sticker without breaking it but he did in no time. A very professional experience and I am happy I found a place to come back to when my car will need some TLC. Thank you so much!!!

This time my vehicle was vandalized once again by perpetrators in Yonkers, NY. The staff at Central Auto Body is very courteous and professional. As a woman, I feel very intimidated by most auto repair shops, including the car dealerships. I was so impressed by their work and results the first time I went to them after a van hit my Mercedes ML 350 with 4 other vehicles as it was parked unoccupied. My vehicle was practically totaled. I never thought that my vehicle would look the same or that it could possibly be repaired from all the damage that was caused. To my astonishment, not only did Central Auto Body repair my vehicle, but it looked like a new vehicle, and ran just as well as before the accident. They took care of everything including dealing with my insurance company and the rental car company. I am so pleased with their attention to detail and caring about me as a customer, that I use them as my regular mechanic shop. I no longer have to travel to the Mercedes dealer that was charging me thousands more than Central Auto Body, and were not completing the repairs and routine maintenance as well as Central Auto Body. Now, its so much easier and cheaper for me to keep my Mercedes in excellent driving condition. They even picked me up and dropped me off to my residence when I didnt have a ride at no extra cost. I really appreciated this, since trying to get a cab in Yonkers is very annoying and they usually pick up additional passengers (almost like taking a bus or public transportation). Extremely excellent And honest auto body. Literally has done work on 4 different cars for over the past 15 years. I been to him more then 8 times in 15 years. Even for the smallest things. He doesn’t only do collision work. However I’ve mostly used him for collision work due to accidents.

Al was super friendly and helpful- I needed a photo inspection done on two cars and was leaving town the following day. I called him and he was able to accommodate me the same day without any issue! Pleasant and thorough! Thanks Al!

Took my car to have my trunk repaired from a small collision i was involved in. Spoke to Steve who sold me on what on how they worked so I left the car with them to be repaired. The claims adjuster goes down to the shop to look at the car and eventually a price is agreed on between the insurance and the body shop. An email was sent to Steve shortly after the adjuster looked at the car so that the work could get started. I call a week later to see what the status of the car was and it was just sitting in the shop. The insurance had to call them and speak to them and the work was eventually started. It took another 2 weeks to get the car done. I asked Steve on 2 separate occasions if he could clean up some spots in the front of the car in which i would pay separately in which he said he would take care of it and when i showed up to get the car, he did not take care of anything and said he forgot. They charge the insurance company double of what they originally agreed on for a total of over $7000 for what seemed to be not so big of a dent in the trunk and in total they take close to a month to get it done. In fairness, he did offer to touch up what i asked him to do originally if i brought the car back and i was to leave it overnight but with what they put me through, I figured they might keep the car another 2 weeks and decided i would pass on that especially being that this is my only means of transportation. I should have known something could go wrong when i first walked into the shop and Steve tells a worker there that when this insurance company calls (Whomever he was dealing with at the time) to simply say that he was not available. Horrible experience....Not good business practice.

Recently had an issue with my car where every time I drove, I heard a clicking noise coming from the right side of the vehicle. The noise grew increasingly worse over the last two weeks, urging me to have it checked out. Having been burned with bad experiences at other shops in Yonkers, my husband encouraged me to come to Central Auto Body as he just recently discovered this local gem with an owner who has earned his trust and respect. I drove my car over right before the place was due to close, and rather than impatiently hearing me out while watching the clock, they took the time to take my car out for a test drive, locate the problem, and lo and behold, half an hour later, found two rocks which had been caught up under a plastic shield on the underbelly of my car! Rocks removed, they test drove it again with me (again, never showing any frustration or impatience with it now being past closing time), and the clicking sound was gone and my vehicle is back to new! What a praise! Also, how refreshing to see men treat me as a young lady with courtesy, integrity, and professional kindness. Customer service is TOP NOTCH. Rare to find. My husband and I will frequent this shop as long as we reside here!

Excellent service and quality of work. The guys help take care of everything necessary, from completing insurance paperwork to offering a ride to the car rental location and always with a friendly smile. They have helped me out with big and small jobs. I highly recommend this shop!

Central Auto Body Collision is the best auto body shop in Westchester. The staff is wonderful, helpful and efficient. Steve helped me and he was very helpful and willing to answer all of my inquiries.

Great Shop!!!I have dealt with many auto shops during my 40 years of car ownership, but I have rarely had as positive an experience as I have had at Central Auto Body. I use them for all basic repairs to my 2012 Honda Civic. Al and Steve are scrupulous in their honesty, very pleasant to deal with, and more than fair in their pricing. They are the only shop that has ever fixed a small issue for less than 20 dollars. I needed tires and they convinced me that I brand I would not have considered -- about 50 dollars cheaper than the ones I had on the car -- would be better. They were absolutely right. I would trust them with all and any repairs, either body or mechanical.

My experience at this body shop was nothing but amazing. The service was fast and prompt and they made sure I received excellent results. This shop is certified in several auto makers which means they replace your parts with factory manufactured parts. When I arrived I waited for an estimate, dropped off my keys and they dropped me off to the train station. In 2 days my car was finished and they picked me up from the train station and brought me to the shop. My car looked amazing! Im glad I decided to take my car here.

Great service. My car was side swiped by a mister Softee truck and they fixed my car better than I got it.
