When I wasnt sure if the brochure shows the true color, he was nice enough to stop by again with a sample. Had a door that just wasnt right - didnt seal against the weather, vibrated just short of jamming, wasnt centered etc, etc. Couldnt find a name that could be trusted. My auto mechanic said he was very satisfied with the people that did his shop door. Called and met Marco .. He responded quickly, was clear in his recommendations and fully explained what he suggested - and delivered 100% on what he proposed. I cant be happier with the quality of the work done. I called for an estimate and a woman named Pam gave me some information. I said I had to call back to talk to my family about it first. I called back a day or so later and she wasnt available, so I left a message. After a day or two she hadnt called back, so I called again and left another message. Still no return call. I went to their office and spoke to her in person. She gave me the card of the salesman Marco and said he would call me. He never did. I found somebody else who did the job promptly and efficiently. As somebody else wrote, it seems like they dont care whether they get your business or not. Dont waste your time with this company.

Called for service and the tech/ mechanic Marco came next day.Marco was very knowledgeable and friendly. He worked very neatly. He changed my springs and pulleys. The price was great. It is always nice to see someone who enjoys and knows his job. Clearly the company understands customer service. I will use them again as well as recommend them to my friends and family.

Excellent! First, my door was hit. United Overhead Doors sent a serviceman to quickly repair door temporarily for our safety and security. The serviceman was professional in placing my damaged door and checking to make sure it was secure and safe from any harm to us during our waiting period for a new door. From start of calling in for a repair, Maria (then dispatcher) on a Saturday had called back from an emergency call I had left. She informed me when I could expect the serviceman and answered all of my many questions. The serviceman repaired and cleaned up afterwards.Today, we had the installation. Beautiful job. Professionally done.From the start of the estimate my many questions regarding how this would all pan out, were answered. And as I was clearly made aware of the time frame, what to expect, and the great communication, all went as planned.I want to thank the staff, Lou, Tommy, Maria, Mark, Dick and finally Victory for the peace of mind you have all provided my family with.

STAY AWAY. The customer service is terrible. Its like they dont want your business!I originally made an appointment with a sales rep for a Saturday morning. I went all the way up to Yonkers and sat and waited for 15 minutes before being told by the woman at the front desk that the sales rep was out meeting with a client on Long Island and would not be in until the afternoon. So I left. About 30 minutes after my appointment was scheduled to begin, I received a call from the sales rep asking where I was. When I explained what happened, he said he did not have an appointment on Long Island and rudely accused me of being wrong, when in fact the woman at the front desk had screwed up.I really needed a garage door so a couple of weeks later, I called and asked if a sales rep could contact me to give me a quote. I gave the woman who answered all of my information, including the town my home is in. She said someone would call me back. I never received a call back so I called to follow up again. The woman who answered asked what town my home is in and when I told her, she rudely said we dont take clients that far out on Long Island and tried to hang up. I said I think you are thinking of a different town because Im just outside of Queens, and anyway Ive already spoken to a sales rep and someone else and they both knew my town and didnt say it was an issue. She rudely said she didnt make the rules and tried to hang up. When I mentioned the sales reps name, she back tracked and rudely said call his cell phone -- even though I started the call asking if someone could help me because I cant seem to reach anyone. She was literally the rudest person I have ever dealt with in my life.Its very strange. Its like they dont want your business even though I really need a garage door and have jumped through hoops to try to use them. I also think the woman who screwed up my initial appointment was the person I spoke to on the phone. So United Door, if you are reading this, shes really hurting your business...

Called them late afternoon on a Friday afternoon and was told that they couldnt get anyone to come fox my broken office garage door until Monday. That weekend service had a surcharge. Whats the point of contacting a gate service company if they cant service/fix your broken garage door when you need it most?

We checked out a few companies for garage door repair service and ultimately decided to go with United Doors who was the only one willing to give a free estimate. Their technician came right on time.
