If you need a guitar or bass set up Russ is great! I had him set up multiple guitars and basses for me, hes really knowledgeable, and is a super nice dude. Also, Veronica is really helpful in pro audio, she is another one who is really knowledgeable and very down to earth. Truthfully, I hate all corporate stores, but the people at this location are really nice, no rock star wanna be tude at all! I highly recommend this location!

Ive been shopping at this location for about 4 years now. It has improved alot. Pro audio has a gentleman named Gabriel who is very knowledgeable and an excellent salesperson. The guitar repair station is a plus, the 2 gentlemen in this dept work hard and take pride in their work. I have been to this location several times to purchase an instrument (once a digital keyboard, twice for guitars). They never have a unit in stock despite either the person on the phone or the website saying so. I went to pick up an electric guitar today that the GC site said was in stock but they literally had one left, the floor sample. Thats not having it in stock. When I asked one of the employees his response was, yeah, no chance we have that. Ha! Why have it on the site for being in stock at your store then?? This is the closest location to me but never again.

The service was excellent. Dan, in particular, was knowledgeable, attentive, and on point. I would highly recommend them.

First, I went online to check if they had the product I wanted. The website said that they did. When I got there, I found myself waiting for 20 minutes while one of the staff moved from register to register to register trying to help the person in front of me. When it was my turn, I was told they did not have the product I wanted, but they could ship it to my house. I said ok. It took another 25 minutes for the young man helping me to do that because the registers were having internet problems. He was very apologetic. If you know what you want, dont go to this store. Buy it online.

This review is hard for me to write, but this place should be called Scam Center. I like music and I like folks who are passionate about music, but upon reflecting on my visits here I realize Ive been scammed and played with like a six string fender. The staff sold me a banjo without a bridge on it, they sold me strings that dont actually work with a banjo, and today I was sold a gunk riddled mic interface for 60 more dollars than the interface I wanted and they had on them, but wouldnt sell because of a police hold.(Upon returning home I found out that I could have bought a newer and better version of the interface for 70 dollars cheaper). Just buy stuff online. It is both cheaper, and with half the items in this store having holds on them, probably quicker too.

Parking is on the mall plentiful but will cost you. The lessons are good, instructors are knowledgeable and friendly. Pricing is about standard and ask kinds of lessons from guitar to find and piano after available. They have just about any instrument and accessory for them in stock or online. In the Ridge Hill Mall so you can shop before or after the lessons or during of your bringing your child.

The customer service was very horrible, I traveled very far to purchase a guitar and the staff pretty much ignored me and did not make an effort to help me out. I was very disappointed, I ended up driving up to Sam Ash in White plains where the customer service was a lot more exceptional.

My Taylor 314ce needed a *VERY last minute* restring (and some TLC) for a studio session this Saturday that I only found out about tonight (Thursday). I called kind of frantic knowing I couldn’t come in tomorrow, and Jeremiah immediately offered to help me out. I was there working with him an hour later! Jeremiah was super generous with his time, even while conscientiously juggling other customers, and is extremely knowledgeable. He knew exactly which strings to recommend for my particular guitar, confidently answered my laundry list of questions, and even (super patiently) walked me through the restringing process. I was really impressed (and grateful). Honestly, if it weren’t for him, there’s absolutely no way my guitar would have been ready in time! THANK YOU JEREMIAH :)

This a great store, I love the ambience and the areas of the store. Youve got the electric guitars and the acoustic guitars within their respectful areas, and the drums and pianos with their own as well. The employees are super friendly and helpful. Only downside is the bathroom and the distance it is to get to them, but its not bad.

This store is great, only down fall is the parking. The employees are very knowledgeable and will help you find what you need in a flash. They have a bunch of instruments. The next guitar center is in White Plains and that could be a little bit of a hike, happy one was opened up closer to my residence.

Being left-handed can be frustrating when hunting for a decent lefty guitar, so after seeing a sweet deal on a lefty Godin Exit 22s I jumped in my car and drove an HR to Guitar Center in Yonkers, NY. Brandon not only helped me with testing this beauty, but even threw on a new set of strings free of charge! After a proper set up the Godin Exit 22s has quickly become my #1 axe. This is the best 300 bucks Ive spent in a long time! Thank you Brandon and the rest of the staff for being understanding and accommodating. This Guitar Center gets 5 stars across the board for top notch customer service!

Once again Im disappointed in guitar center. Come in guitar center, tune your guitars!!!!! I am looking for a Takamine and found one, but it was grossly out of tune. I started to tune it, only to have a gentleman start playing another guitar. Scrap that. Plus, the strings were terrible. Now, it was a used guitar (which is what Im looking for in a Takamine), but once tuned it didnt hold. They lost a potential sale, but they may have lost many potential sales because there guitars are out of tune - every guitar I picked up was out of tune (one was tuned to Drop D, but most would know that unless they were accomplished and they wouldnt have picked up a $400 guitar.)However, they had lots of stock. It was clean. They staff was helpful. I like guitar center. Ive purchased most of my musical instruments from them.Hopefully theyll read this review and tell their staff to tune guitars rather than stands around and talk.

They finally got a few quality guitars in stock but the employees leave something to be desired. If you arent buying a big item they just ignore you at the counter. Today I waljed up to counter. There were three employee’s at the counter. They looked at me and all walked away. I have spent thousands there and I will never go back.

I ask a Representatives from guitar center that I needed help getting cables to connect my pro audio equipment. But they send me to another rep, then the rep was going to help me and instead he stated he is going to ask customers if they needed help and he will come back to me. I said fine I will wait being that I will use a little of hes time. After 40 minute no rep and no one else ask for help. Worse services I ever encounter.

I found the sales people to be extremely helpful. Ive been in the music industry for well over 30 years. And let me tell you this. They really knew their s#$t. I dont impress easy, but they impressed me. What more can I say. I had a phenomenal experience at guitar center.

I’ve been patronizing this business since they were operating out of the Larchmont, Westchester area. I like the convenience and for the most part the customer service demeanor of its employees. However one must jump through ‘hoops’ to have their tax exemption honored. That process needs considerable work to improve. So much and so, that I’d rather pay the taxes than ensure the agitation of refilling and getting recertifications just to honor what has been honored for all these years at this establishment.

I find that they are always short staffed reason why the customer service level is not up there but when they help, they take their time to explain and help you choose the product that fits your needs. This place can get pretty busy. Make sure to validate your parking ticket that’s good for up too 45 minutes.

Im disappointed, because I was waiting for the seller for about 30 minutes and he was talking with a customer about personal things and he never took the time to take care of me.

I purchased a used, higher-end telecaster from Zack at Ridge Hill from out of State. Over the course of two days, Zack went above and beyond with providing excellent customer service. He answered all my questions and took measurements of the guitar and got all the answers I needed so I could make the right decision. Even though GC has a great return policy, I didnt want to purchase this tele and ship it all the way to Texas if it wasnt the right one. I cant say enough great things about Zack and the gang at the Yonkers Ridge Hill location. A big thanks from Austin, TX.

Ive been interested in buying a bass guitar for over a year now and finally figured I should go and see which one would appeal to me, John was very helpful on letting me try a few models out- 2 days later I ordered a Sterling by Musicman SUB Stingray, now I am going to take some lessons.

The staff is kind of all over the place. I really wish they would open up somewhere easier to get to as well. I really miss the Larchmont location. Having to lug your gear through a maze to get back to your car is not fun.
