What a pleasant surprise. It is a hole in the wall but a gem. Lots of good stuff. Even better: no cheap thrills. It is not as if the owner specializes in expensive goods - he isnt. Its just a well-chosen selection.The owner runs the shop more as if it is a hobby than a business. He doesnt have the funds to make this a destination but it certainly is the best-stocked liquor store in the neighborhood.Part of the problem with this place is that it is invisible. It deserves better than me having to wait five years until I became aware of its existence (I live 5 minutes walk away). Now that I finally found it, it is my go-to place for most of my regular liquor purchases.

Found this place at the height of covid lock down. Craving for bourbon and this is the closest to my hotel Hampton Inns. Owner is always on sure and knows everything he carries. That’s why it doesn’t have a huge selection. But there’s one bottle for every taste. I found a great bourbon and new Ukrainian vodka that satisfied my craving. And the prices are competitive to Total Wine that you know he is not raking in money. I’m a loyal patron now.

My favorite little wine and liquor store around. Great service and selection and very competitive prices. Open later than anyone around and caries F.good wine at best price anywhere. Worth checking out. Ask about the new liquor he brings in, my new favorite place.

Owner is definitely knowledgeable and experience in wine and liquor. Good prices and has just about everything or something better. Owner take price in craft and has surprised me with different brands that taste great.

Where do I start from. This liquor store is amazing, always have great selection on wines, and the store owner I call him Mr. Robert is a Spectacular host. He will go out of his way to help you fine what fits the best for you. And this is the cleanest store I have been to. If you are looking for a great service and good wine this is the place to be.

I placed an order on grubhub and it was canceled with no contact. Grubhub claims that they were out of one item — but it was an $85 order, I would have been fine with a substitution if anyone had just called me. No one called. Eventually GH called and claimed they were out of a different item. Long story short, I think the store closed early, didn’t update GH, and they tried to save face. Covid is hard for everyone, I get that. But just update your hours, update your inventory. By the time my order was canceled, it was too late for me to order from someone else. So, you lost an $85 order and you took that opportunity for business from someone else as well. I have never been to your store in person, so this is my only experience. I’ll stick with the places I know. Don’t bother ordering from this place, it’s a waste of time.

Absolutely a wonderful experience! The owner is a gentleman who was and is always very accommodating considering my lack of knowledge regarding wine. He took the time to explain and offer different options that might be suitable to my palette. This is my second visit to this excellent establishment with many more in the foreseeable future. Well worth the time this is a true hidden gem.

Very welcoming and knowledgeable owner! You go for a bottle and end up getting educated on wines and other liquors without feeling pressured to hurry or to go above your budget if you cant or simply dont want to. Very different experience from what we all encounter when we enter most other liquor shops.

Good prices, lots of selection but not the place if you dont know anything about spirits. You will be lost. Staff tries to be helpful but they dont know all their products.

Went in not even sure what I was looking for but came out with some really good selections. The man who I assumed to be the owner simply asked what I like my wine to taste like and was able to suggest a few bottles that may appeal to me, which they did. Great prices as well. I was shopping at Whole Foods on Sunday & needed wine for a food recipe. Alcove came up in my google search. It was close & still open! The owner, Robert, helped me select a few bottles of great wine. Great Customer Service! I’ll be back!

Love This Liquor store. The gentleman who owns this store is a very hard working man and has a lot of knowledge on liquor/wine. He is open until 10PM which is also a plus. Highly recommended!

Nice selection of Wine and Liquor. But the owner is very cheap if you are short 5 cents. In addition, he may have liquor salesmen there. And you have to wait to be served. He needs some better customer service skills.
