Robert took pieces of a beloved honey locust that had to be removed from our yard due to construction in 2016. He said drying would take two years. Two years passed and we did not hear from him. We began asking in 2018 about our slabs and each time hes had some excuse about why they are not available, why he cant find them for us right now and now, that they are inaccessible due to his failure to pay rent to his former landlord. We trusted Robert and he has hurt us. I cannot recommend him or his company.

The most amazing lumber yard I’ve ever seen. After much research and visiting tons of lumber yards in NJ & NY., I found this gem. Not only does it house stunning slabs of wood the owner, Mr Rising is such a great guy and really knows his craft. Love this place!!!!

Great service and knowledgable. Husband and wife team are truly wonderful to work with. I got a few pieces of dark walnut and maple that are truly gorgeous for end tables/ coffee tables and couldnt be happier. Will definitely revisit.

Over priced, low quality and terribly rude service. Thats what I got. I guess getting this from tree butchers is the consequence of the easy money in the live edge trend.(Edited bellow to respond to the owners response)Are you paranoid man? Do you think I rented a car, drove from Long Island, wasted my Saturday because I was not serious? Have you ever run a business? People are not coming to engage in some drama or play games with you. Learn some basic respect. If you can’t handle the pressure of your job, you don’t get to throw a fit for strangers. And understand, not everyone is a noob coming to you with a fat wallet looking blindly to buy some cute rotten cracked “live-edge” for a grand. Yes - nothing you offered in the 20 minutes you were there were nearly good enough for their price and frankly, even though I tried hard to ignore your disrespectful attitude just to make something out of my day and the time and money wasted, at the end I decided I am not buying nothing from this guy, even if these mediocre slabs were gold.I don’t recommend this place. In my experience, this is not a professional or honest place of business. You’ll be burned either way.
