My emblem fell off the car from the mechanic slamming the hood of car, I had to pay for what was the fault of the mechanic, the car was supposed to be washed before returning it to me, had to bring it to the attention of CS that it had not been washed so I had to wait a little longer for their CS to return it to me.(courtesy)Once I received the vehicle back, 2days later I returned the vehicle because the emblem was not put on the vehicle correctly I was about to loose it again for it wasnt properly fixed.Now when I called for it to be repaired, I was told that they had to order it, but when I called for it to be replaced the emblem was in stock with plenty of them a at the location,This should of been at the expense of the mechanic who originally broke it from slamming the hood of the car, but I paid for it anyway.Good CS vs Responsible CS vs who should the Responsible party be.

Sweeney has always had a good service dept and now they have these awesome videos of the service they do to your car so you can see what they are doing, they are wonderful.

Excellent service. After getting my oil changed, they sent me a video of the car inspection they performed. I was able to pay for the service electronically on my smartphone. I really appreciate the covid-19 safety measures they took.

Worst service ever!! I will NEVER bring my vehicle back (nor would I ever purchase a vehicle) from Sweeney Chevrolet. Got a basic oil change, tire rotation, brake and battery check. Not even 24 hours later Im stuck in my driveway because my battery went dead. But according to Sweeney....it was fine the day before. DO NOT go here for service!!!!! Visit Kevin Carzoo at Stadium Chevrolet in Salem, OH. Those guys are GREAT and will work and find out what is wrong with your vehicle before you leave!! Not leave you stranded in your driveway like SWEENEY!!! Terrible, terrible service. Id rather go to Flynns to get my oil changed!!!

Called Monday appointment. S Steve set up 9:30 Thursday. Took truck in as scheduled,got ride home which I thought I would get right in . Gave phone number. No call all day 4:40 Rolls around couldnt get vehicle in. Will call next day at noon. Than told that I didnt have appointment,that was just a drop off time. Doesnt make sense. Long story short,wont be back. Was thinking about New vehicle,but will look elsewhere.

Shady experience. From the start, of only showing me 3 of the most expensive tires and saying the tire site is down and that I don’t have access to see tires online on my own. As I found similar tires for $250 cheaper on my phone, ON THEIR SITE. To waiting 5.5 hours for oil change, tires, and alignment. To the end where there was an extra $150 snuck into my bill over what was agreed upon. They blamed the computer system acting up that day, so even the computer system is shady if it defaults to “up charge people $150 whenever it’s not working”. Make sure you check your bill and do your due diligence on EVERYTHING as they obviously will not. You must ask to see final bill before paying as they do not show you. They just tell you what you owe, and hope you will pay with no questions. I wonder how many people overpay. No wonder Sweeney is so huge, they are no better than thieves. The previous 2 times before this I was told 1 hour for oil change. 2.5-3 hours later was actual time. Don’t lie to me, tell me from the start it may be that long. 1 customer lost forever. 1 event would have been acceptable and I would have believed it was a mistake or error, but several events in one day. Lies.

Overall this was a poor experience. We purchased a $30,000 vehicle from Sweeney and the check engine light came on for 3 unrelated problems within the first month. The service department insisted that we owed a deductible even though the first problem occurred within 5 days of the purchase of the vehicle. Only after multiple phone calls to management and after nearly a week had passed did we finally get the deductible waived. The second time we took the vehicle in for service, 2 additional repairs were done but we were only told about one of them. The only way we knew about the 2nd repair is we were given a printout when we picked up the car that listed that it had be done and I asked the service department about it. I feel that it is unethical to make repairs without disclosing it to the owner. This situation was not handled well throughout the entire process, which is why we are giving Sweeney a negative review.
