They were such a great help with our outboard motor. We had a broken water pump. They rebuilt it in one afternoon &we picked it up the next. Labor was reasonable, they also answered all of our questions and we never felt rushed

Always good to me great service you do have to wait your turn but they do stay busy and they know what theyre doing

Where do I start. In Sacramento no where sales Evinrude Johnson parts! After finding this place I started first by buying a water pump kit and spark plug. All of sudden my cheap starter I bought from Ebay gave out (After 10 months of use). I call Pat today and he was very helpful. He said he have the starter in stock. I told him what happen to my starter. I also told him that my kill switch was bad and it came apart. He try to look for a new one but I guess my kill switch is too old. They didnt have it in stock but wait Sutter Marine went above and beyond. They had a old kill switch laying around there shop and they just gave it to me. What more can you said, to me they care for there CUSTOMERS! I will continue buy from Sutter Marine. Keep up the great works!

Just walked into an empty store thinking Id get great service from a profession and knowledgeable representative but i was greatly mistaken....the older, lazy, grey bearded man couldnt even come from behind the counter to show me the part that i was looking for...then they wonder why customers go online to order parts

We had a horrible experience with Sutter Marine.We asked for a complete service and inspection, because we had a new (to us) boat that we wanted to be sure was safe for us and our three small children to use for the summer. Of primary concern, we smelled gas when we dropped it off, which we asked them to pay special attention to. When we picked up the boat and paid the $500 bill, we were told the full service and inspection had been done, and that we were ready to go. We took the boat out with our three kids...the steering did not work and it still smelled of gas. Concerned, we brought it back in. We were told, very dismissively, that they did not work on older boat steering and that we had to take it somewhere else. They were unconcerned that wed been given the green light to take the boat out with three kids on a boat apparently still leaking gas and with malfunctioning steering.We took our boat to Marine Service Center in Sacramento, we were informed immediately that the steering was not working because the outdrive had been reinstalled incorrectly after having it worked on at Sutter Marine. We were also told that there was a very obvious hole in the gas tank, that any mechanic should have found, and that Sutter Marine let us take a time bomb onto the water with our kids.These are just two of the critical oversights by Sutter Marine that could have ended in disaster on the water. Unfortunately, the list of services they claimed to have completed that were not goes on.Our new service center fixed the steering free of charge, and provided a straightforward answer and repair solution for the gas tank.Sutter Marine had zero regard for our, or our childrens safety on the water. They promised a service and did not deliver.Thankfully the biggest cost is the $500 spent for a boat returned inoperable and dangerous. Our kids are safe. I dont know how these guys sleep at night.

My nephew is on a sailboat in Malaysia their mercury outboard is on the fritz I called these guys he spent 10 minutes on the phone gave me great advice I bought nothing its a long time since I had service like that thanks

I am not at all happy with the fact that Brian would not help resolve a payment issue. The check was damaged and his bank called him on behalf of me to resolve the issue. Unfortunately, Brian would not assist his bank, or me, in correcting this matter. I will never go back for any service nor will I visit this store. Fortunately for me, his bank found a way around Sutter Marine, and Brian, to honor that cashiers check.Brian, the issue was customer service in ensuring that payment was received by your customer, but you failed miserably at that in my case.

Spent 30k on a boat with options and had a horrible experience. There is absolutely no knowledge of any kind when it comes to the product they are selling and their installation of the items I did purchase was half assed. The only person there that had any sort of care or ethic was the kid at the front counter stalking shelves. Brian was willing to listen, but the end result was no knowledge of his product. I had to remount my transducer after they tried a second time and I took it upon myself to remount my fish finder due to lack of faith that they would be able to get it right. The lack of knowledge and pride is unfortunate. I won’t be revisiting, I’ll be taking my business somewhere else and so should anyone else. Hope you guys pick up the slack!

Kind of dirty and expensive. Seems most people there hate thier job. Iv $850 of work done on my boat and it still ran poorly. They are the only shop in town so i am greatful they are there because boats always need something
