I finally got to go here absolutely loved it Ben is amazing I cant believe all that he accomplishes by himself he really could use some help. I joined the wine club because even my husband was impressed and he doesnt drink wine.

Finally went here. Glad we did. Ben is awesome. Knows his beer and wine and has great suggestions. Fantastic selection of wine and hard to find craft beer. Took some friends and they loved it. Prices are reasonable. Give them a try, youll be glad you went.cheers

The uptown wine merchant is fantastic. The service is great. I always get great suggestions and delicious wine. The choices are awesome. And it makes for a great date night.

One of my favorite local spots. The ambiance is just lovely. Ben is so sweet & helpful. You won’t find a better tasting price anywhere else, and the really have some great selections of wine. They also have an extensive beer selection, which you can buy by the can or create your own pack. There’s really something for everyone here.

Ben is amazingly knowledgeable, hyper personable, and wildly ethical in his dealings and upfront with passion for wine. Come with an open mind and you will enjoy yourself with a new favorite wine.

Ben is a fantastic owner and proprietor. This is THE spot for the best wine and craft beer in all of Yucaipa. Uptown Wine has quickly become my favorite haunt in town. Be sure to check out the wine club membership and his excellent selection of craft IPAs from breweries like Fat Orange Cat, Decadent and more. 11/10 will continue to return.

Good wine, unique tasting model (3 2 oz pours per tasting, 6 wines available from the wine store stock). Wednesday and Thursday from 3-5 Happy hour -- $5 per tasting. 10% off if you buy a bottle of a wine you tasted. Ben is a friendly, knowledgeable owner. Always a great experience.

I had a wonderful glass of wine and enjoyed some great conversation. It was a quick visit but I loved the atmosphere, look and feel of this place. Ben was very helpful! Definitely going to visiting again!

Inattentive and rude mannerism by the apparent owner, a wine retailer. An insane $12 corking fee if you buy his resale wine and drink it there. And...no specials! Only waived if you join their wine club (and they are NOT a winery). An awesome wine/cigar establishment in Upland waives the corking fee if you buy a $20 bottle of wine. Thats smart and fair. Wine selection is not really unique. If youre looking for a barolo or a Santa Maria pinot or a vintage port or real champagne, forget it. Total wine, High Times, La Bodega, et al, and wineries, have better prices and wines that taste less jumbled and shocked. I have several friends that own wineries and am a 35 year oenophile wine veteran. Service was consistently great or terrible as the owner tended to hunker with his local buddies and ignore older veterans that a totally buy bottles. Blue collar crowd, quite often. Owner dresses sloppily. To me, wine bars should be a place for your date to feel comfortable dressing nice. Lots of people drinking beer there creates confusion. I frequent 4 wine tasting bars (Pasadena, Anaheim, downtown LA, Laguna Beach, Aliso Viejo, Palm Springs/Palm Desert). I felt like a museum piece because I dress stylish. Its a blue collar establishment for Millenials, not for oenophile, but they create an atmosphere of intimidation and cliqueishness, mostly beer drinkers (they serve beer). If you rate them low, with complete honesty, you will be refused service. Check out State Street Winery, Pacific Wine Merchants, Filippi Winery or Galleano Winery (great friends and knowledgeable folks). I gave this place a few shots. Not! Tons of over-rated reviews by groupies who really do not have a full spectrum experience of wine establishments or enology. Basically, the Cheers of far northern IE wine retail.
