This was our first time here, and we will definitely be coming back! Perfect for date night, has a high-class feel without the outrageous price. We started off with 805 on tap and the best Lemon Drop Ive ever had! For our main courses we had Ribeye steak with garlic mashed potatoes (highly recommended) and glazed Brussels Sprouts. As well as Prime rib with garlic green beans and Mac n cheese. We opted out of appetizers to get their beignets, and it was a great decision because they were so delicious!
I will start off with if you go on a Saturday that you make reservations. We did not and we were told it would take 30-40 minutes and was was well over an hour.As for the food it was very good. I had creamed asparagus for the first time and it was very good. My husband and I both had chicken dishes and we were both very pleased. They were seasoned well and cooked just right. We will be back
HR has become a routine visit. Their staff are amazing, sincere and really care. This is so refreshing. Not only does this place have a great environment, there food is great too. I’d highly recommend their flat iron steak. There’s not too many places around that can cook such good steak at a great price too. Thank you HR!
We went without reservations and only waited 20 minutes for a table for 2. Live music in the back dining room, a full bar and plenty of dining tables. Service is great. Lots of service personnel. Food was great. Prime Rib was delivered as ordered. Their dinner rolls are to die for. Will be back when in the area.
Great food and the best steaks around. I love the rib eye steak with the Brussels sprouts. I was not impressed with the garlic mashed potatoes, I liked the steak fries more. I ordered the smoked old fashioned and it was really good and well presented with smoke at the table. My wife loves the medallion steak with blue cheese butter. Be prepared to spend $30 or more a plate. We will be back for special dates or events.

This is the closest sit down restaurant to my house so Ive given them multiple chances even though the food is never more than mediocre. Still Ive chosen never to leave a negative review because the service is friendly and decent and why chip at a locally owned business simply for serving blandness? What changed for me is last night the restaurant hosted a private party with loud music that I could clearly hear inside my bedroom long past 1 AM. This is the closest place to me as Ive said, but still I live ¼ mile away across Yucaipa Blvd and part way up the hill. So disrespectful to everyone around to allow their party to disturb the neighborhood long after midnight.
This place is Amazing! Amazing Food and Amazing Service! You wont be disappointed... Everything was Delicious!!! Our family loved the sautéed mushrooms...out of this world!

Nice older style ranch house restaurant with traditional ranch food and decor.There are a variety of food options, steak, seafood, burgers, salads and more. Everything Ive had thus far has been very tasty, in large portions and reasonably priced. This is not your old folks greasy spoon.The service is good. The staff are plentiful, polite, professional, attentive and definitely hustling to ensure all are taken care of.Overall every visit has been a pleasant experience and I would absolutely recommend them.
I had their 8oz Flat iron steak, baked yam, and seasoned veggies. The sides were good, but the steak was the star of the plate. Cooked to a perfect medium, tender, and delicious. Sean, our server, was excellent as always. Wonderful place to enjoy and nice dinner out. I wish a soda didnt cost $4, but its ok.
Excellent service for party of 16. Everything was served pretty close together and everyone enjoyed their meal, from Baramundi to Salmon to rib eye (excellent) to their Hickory Ranch cut. All very good!
Dinner was great however we had a reservation and were sat on time but werent served for over 45 minutes. Dinner rolls were never brought out and waitress never asked if we needed condiments. The place was full but still other tables were visited more routinely than ours.We arrived with masks on and immediately noticed no one was wearing them inside from guests to staff. I know were headed back to a normal life style but mask requirements have yet to be withdrawn from the state. Not a deal breaker but something others could find distracting.Definitely will return for the food and realize the service can and should be better.

I looooove this place! I always get a cobb salad an the best, absolute most wonderful SAUTEED MUSHROOMS, cooked in white wine, butter and garlic! You will love them! Youll want to eat them all! But dont, save some 4 breakfast and dip the bread in that creamy goodness! Cheers!👱♀️
Hickory Ranch has a wide variety on their menu. 3 of us had steak, 1 chicken fettechini, 1 fish tacos and 1 hamburger. We all were happy with our meals and the service was great!
Hickory Ranch is always a good place to sit and have a good meal. I had the baked barramundi it was really good.
First time going to this restaurant off a friends recommendation. The family and I were thoroughly pleased with everything here. I had the prime rib with mashed potatoes and brussel sprouts, the wife had Buffalo chicken salad, son had fried shrimp with mac and cheese, girls had the cheeseburgers. like I said everything tasted good and was how we ordered. staff was friendly and knowledgeable of menu items. Definitely will be going back here.
Good food with great service. Everything was flavorful but the ribeye was a little tough, even though I ordered it medium rare. Recommend bringing your own wine if they cork. Overall good vibe!
Ordered the t bone and wasnt cooked med well but the flavor was so good. Party of 7 and all the other dishes were 100% awesome. Our fancy place for yucaipa. Service was phenomenal as always. Beer was so cold and wine was very good according to client. Might order the new York next time since its an even cut.
Have been here many times, food us absolutely delicious, service is totally great. A must is the sauteed mushrooms, beyond good.
The restroom could use a good working fan inside to air it out and a good a c in there also

The food and drinks are very delicious. My first time trying the beef wellington and it was soft delicious and melts in your mouth.

Lots of food, very busy spot, very expensive. Hubby and I went there tonight and for the 2 of us, it was $60 with tip!!! Wont do that too often, but the staff was courteous, and very responsible with covid regulations.

Pretty good steaks and sides..dont let the full parking lot fool you lots of room inside...everyone seemed to be enjoying hot bread except us, we were never offered or given any. Wouldve been nice while waiting a while for our food. I usually try and tip the wait staff in cash but once our waiter gave us check we never saw him again so restored to paying contactless and leaving.
So bad. crowded, loud, and servers were constantly stressed and messing up orders and the food was terrible, mushy, unseasoned and oily. dis gust ing

I came here after getting a award from my school. REALLY GOOD FOOD, but i ordered the pretzel bites and there was no salt at all.
We were seated in a decent amount if time within 20 minutes and our order was taken pretty quickly but it took almost an hour to get our food! We saw some people getting served bread n we asked a busboy if it was an appetizer because we didnt see on the menu. He said no we could have some but they ran out and some more was being made. So we waited for like 20 minutes and asked our waitress when she came by if bread was done yet if we could have some. She said oh you would like bread sure. We asked how come we werent given some when we were sat down and she said its upon request. How were we to know that if it was our 1st time. 10 more minutes later we got bread it was delicious. Our food came soon after and we werent impressed. The salmon was ok but I didnt care for the garlic mashed potatoes. I had two spoonful of it. I had ordered coleslaw as well and didnt care for that either. My husband said his ribs had a lot of fat on them. We wont be returning.

Not very good, food is not very fresh, service was slow, the guy was nice. Waited 25 minutes for cold asparagus, asked for some BBQ sauce never saw the guy again. The water was good.
Staff...You gotta FINISH!! Drinks came out, appetizers came out, second & 3rd round of drinks then main entrée delivery pretty good but you have to FINISH...you have to clear plates!! From tables of 4 to groups of 15 plates were being put on empty chairs, on the ground or patrons cleared themselves. If you want the BEST tip$$$$$ that I have potential to give...you have to FINISH!

Hickory Ranch Steakhouse was a great place to eat. The wait staff was excellent and the food was delicious. It would have been nearly perfect, except I do feel that its slightly overpriced. The food was definitely delicious, but $18 for a chicken fried steak meal and $15 or a sandwich and fries is just a little high. Regardless, four stars.

We ordered fish and chips we received a slab of greasy fish and 2 hush puppies which should have been French fries. Also ordered pastrami sandwich with onion rings. The sandwich was ok the bread was too hard to eat the onion rings were burnt black . We did curbside when we called back they said we can’t comp the food because we took it home even though the order was not worth eating. We WILL NOT BE BACK

On of my favorite restaurants in Yucaipa. The bar and all of the bartenders were awesome. Cocktails were on point and the beer selection was good. And they serve draft beer in big beer mugs which I love, they have small ones too. The food is outstanding. They have daily specials so check them out on the board before getting seated. Start off with the mushrooms - you wont be disappointed. When these come out it will turn heads and make others jealous you got them. Everything I have eaten here is outstanding. Service is great. Prices are reasonable. You wont be disappointed. Love this place.

My boyfriend and I wanted to try somewhere we hadnt eaten before and decided to try the Hickory Ranch. We were not disappointed! The staff was very friendly and the premises was very clean. The food had great flavors, I had ordered the teriyaki chicken and a side of shrimp scampi. Both were outstanding! I am very critical of my shrimp and have trouble in the past with restaurants not cleaning the shrimp properly. There were no such problems at H.R! Absolutely wonderful! I think this has become our new favorite haunt! Thank you so much!

Stumbled into this place and stopped for dinner based purley on our instincts and the large crowd waiting to dine. It had such a nice diverse menu, something for everyone. The quality of food was just wonderful. The New York steak was cooked perfect and the beer batered shrimp just right. We will most definitely be back. The service was really friendly, informative, and timely. It was truly a nice surprise to find this fun establishment.

Not a very good experience frozen food was good for frozen food not good for the price you got to pay as well as not getting good service walked away with burnt fingers from overheated plate that should have never been on that table in the first place as well as the manager telling me that all their servers are well-trained apparently not if somebody gets burnt she almost made me feel and Im sorry to say like if I wanted something free very rude to be treated as such for my first time being there will never be there again

Been going to hickory for so many years. The owners really try to please . Good beef. Mark and Helen try and work very hard to keep a certain standard. Knowing them and other restaurateurs its such a struggle during normal times let alone these days.
