Called in here as it’s not far from M1. Tastiest BLT I’ve ever had. Cute place with a friendly atmosphere. Got cakes to take away as we had to get off. Would definitely come back.

Had a fantastic meal consisting of the belly pork starter, fillet steak main and cheesecake dessert. The quality of the food and service is well worth the cost.

Great little restaurant. Easy to walk past with it set slightly off the main road but Id definitely recommend heading in. Not a huge menu but some of my favourites on there. Pork belly starter with black pudding was cooked to perfection and the Lamb main was melt in the mouth. Would give 6* if could!

Warm welcome from the staff, great cup of coffee in pleasant surroundings.

Great food and service but extremely noisy. May have been simply the diners who happened to be there tonight but ours was not the only table to find it off putting.

Food was good a bit over priced not a lot of choice had soup starters warm not hot enough lamb was good

Dissapointing afternoon tea nearly all sandwiches had mayonnaise on, I DONT LIKE MAYONNAISE. not up to the standard we have had at other venues ) took wine bit didnt know it shut at 2 30 so really NOT afternoon tea we had to rush not be repeating that experience.

Recently visited her for our anniversary meal. The atmosphere was amazing, it was cozy yet chilled and the food was outstanding. We had 2 courses and both were impeccably presented and cooked. They were bursting with flavour. Everything was cooked to perfection and I can honestly say the calamari was the best Id ever had. It was soft and melted in the mouth. My husband had the oak house burger and commented it was the best tasting burger he had, had. The duck was mouthwatering and bursting with flavour and the pork loin bites were exceptional. We had a great night and nothing was too much. We will most definitely be returning. Thanks for a great night.

Another great meal last night: this time celebrating my husbands 70th.Food was delicious as always.Thank you for getting my granddaughter something off menu to eat- she is a very fussy eater.Her brother, on the other hand, is not and tucked into his ribeye steak!Social distancing was not a problem, very well managed.Thank you for a lovely evening
