The small town ambiance and classic music store feel is not lost on this store. With all the commercial businesses seemingly pushing out the little guys...its great to be able to connect with good people in this quintessential music shop. I highly recommend this shop to any rookie, hobby player, or enthusiast.

Met a very nice guy when I walked in. Coming from Banning, this is a really nice place! I even noticed they had some old cds, which is pretty cool. They gave me a discount on some drum rings. You will easily find some things for cheaper here. Highly recommend.

I love this place. They constantly sell me stuff for $200 that they can easily get $300-$400 for. They always are happy to see me, know me by name and keep their ears and eyes open for me. After a number of guitar purchases they even gave me a free t-shirt and thanked me for therepeat business. Ive bought 5 guitars, countless picks and sets of strings, a keyboard, 6 straps, 5 cables, 5 wall hangers, a tuner and a used bass amp in the past 6 months and all of that gear has ezceeded my expectations. I always thought the local store woukd cost 2x what guitar center charges but in factvthese guys are often lower in price! As a Yucaioa resident I urge any and all local musicians to just stopbin first bedore going to GC. You might be surprused!

Could use more instruments and merch. A better buy and trade program would really help us local musicians. The pricing has got to come down to real expectations

Two thumbs up. It’s an awesome music store and great place to learn music for any age. If you love music and would like to learn instruments, this is the place that will definitely satisfy you. It has all kinds of different instruments, different music books and there are professional music teachers there. Glenn is a nice guy who is a experienced owner and a professional piano teacher himself. Under his management the store has well organized music instruments, shining windows, and all the studios have new paint and new carpet. It’s a great environment for students to learn music, and has an entertainment waiting area for families. I always get everything I need from the music store for my violin students, the stores stocks essential items for violins. Anything you name it, Yucaipa music will have it for you. It also has very good instruments repair service. Thank you Glenn for your hard work for running this wonderful place.

This a a wonderful neighborhood music store and teaching studio with a great staff and location. I have taught guitar, along with some general music lessons as well as bass guitar, ukulele and other. I purchased a great resonator guitar, and assisted many other guitar sales for the store, and the prices are very reasonable. Highly recommended.

Wonderful folks here at Yucaipa Music. I went in seeking a rare valve oil for my horn and they had it when no other stores in the area had any. Great selection of guitars, ukuleles, keyboards, amps, drums and other equipment if youre on a gig and you forgot something.

Glen is very good and patient with my children as they learn the piano. I like that he does recitals with the kids so they can get used to performing on stage. I am very happy with the progress my kids have made. I am glad that they now have a skill that they can be proud of.

Shady. Get anyone to call back is difficult.I had 2 instruments left for repair. And one French horn looking to sell to them. The clarinet was not fixed at all. Still the same problem. They told me to wait for all instruments to be completed to pick them up.The hofner bass I tried getting repaired, it was a challenge, unfortunately piece needed was unable to be replaced.I asked them if they would like to buy the bass. They said yes. - Sold the bass to them. Apparently, Im suppose to know their employee rules however I am not an employee, Glenn called me later saying he was investigating my bass purchase.Paid for the clarinet, I am not a clarinet player so I had no way of checking it.As soon as the clarinet player Received it, who was not located in CA at the time, she only took one glance and noticed the problem was not even address not fixed. Long story short Nothing was fixed. And they kept my French horn without telling me yes they would sell it or not. I just got off the phone with Glenn and it was going no where instead he was immediate to pointing the blame in my direction. Poor business ethics.Reply to owners message from Yelp below:I tried several times calling the establishment, my messages were not returned. The French horn was not in lieu of payment, I wanted to inquire about an appraisal. Instead, they kept it after it only being there for a week. No Return phone call after someone looked at it. I went back for my belongings, Instead the man repairing my bass was interested in purchasing my bass, I agree since it was not fixable. So I sold it to the establishment as stated to me. I did not seel the bass $350. I have a receipt from Yucaipa Music for $200. It was my FULL intention to gather my belongings. However, due to the part needed for the bass, it took quite some time to locate it. I went into the music store SEVERAL times to check on the work being done. I even played it. Each time I was at the store, the owner Glenn was never there. So because he wasnt there, he thinks I abandoned it. This is simply not the case. Due to his constant absence from work, he obviously does not know what goes on under his own roof when he is not there. I have Receipt proof, they paid me $200 for my bass NOT $350.

I got my bass back and it is worse then when i took it in. when i took it in the g string was buzzing on the first fret now it is buzzing on first, second, third and 6 fret on the a string. when i took it back they didnt give me a refund and we were going to have to pay 60 more dollars on top of the 50 we already paid. When i was there he sat there and called me a liar that there was no buzzing and that the strings were supposed to buzz which they are not supposed to.The entire time he was saying stupid stuff and was really rude so i ended up walking out and having my dad try and help and he got the same thing i did. We talked to my uncle who has been playing music since he was 9 and he said the same thing that what happened wasnt right and the problem with my bass wasnt supposed to be there. The old man also messed up the nut on my bass when he put it on because its not centered and it needs to be. DO NOT GO HERE THEY ARE BAD!!

I brought my first guitar, a 27 year old Sigma 12 string in to be fixed, because the face had begun to warp, and the bridge was coming unglued, along with a couple of other minor issues and upkeep. Lance assured me that while the fix was fairly straightforward, he had not previously attempted it on a 12 string. His quote was well within the range of what I expected to pay, and his confidence was reassuring. He went the extra mile, by performing the repair on two of his personal guitars with the same issue, before tackling mine, sending me photos of his work along the way. I let him take his time over the course of several weeks, to perfect his proficiency. The wait was well worth it. Between fixing the body, the bridge, the saddle, and dressing the frets (not to mention new strings), my guitar has not sounded better in over 20 years! I am VERY pleased with the results, and recommend Lance for tune-ups, repairs, and decades of experience behind his advice and work.
