Its a 99¢ Only, theyre generally awesome. All the employees Ive dealt with here have been super nice.

Lots of great merchandise for $.99. But beware that not everything is $.99. Many items are on shelves that have the 99 cent sticker but cost more. My 4 star rating is because of this type of retailing. I just dont like the confusion factor over pricing.

This store is amazing. They have almost everything that you need for decorations, food, partys etc. One of my favorites stores n Morongo Basin.

UPDATE: 1-16-21 Stopped into the 99 cents Only in Yucca Valley recently and found the store and staff to be covid safe and social distancing being advised .The store is really clean. Not much left thats 99 cents, lots of overstock stuff lots of stuff in the aisles. Hard to maneuver the aisles especially when others. Short wait at cashier due to 3 being open

I HATE that the name is still 99 cent Only Store, as the base price is 99.9 cents and so much of the merchandise costs several dollars. I boycotted the store for the first year because of this false advertising, and its why I deducted a star. That aside, however, the place has some wonderful deals on products I enjoy such as decorative solar lights, protective face masks and seasonal items. Best is that they carry fresh produce, and sometimes have interesting fruits and vegetables I havent seen in grocery stores. This has been the best store in the area for sanitation during the Corona Virus. Theres a staff member sanitizing every cart and ensuring that customers take a clean one, as well as hand sanitizer at the door. Its now a few-times-a-week shopping destination.

Lots of good deals but you need to know the prices at other stores because some things are bargains and some arent

Store and parking lot are clean. Store staff are always friendly. Prices are good and they have a decent selection of items to choose from. I think its the best of the dollar type stores in Yucca Valley.

Went up to cash register, with my items, on the shelf, they were priced •99 cents! They rang up 1.49, I brought it to the attention of the cashier, she was very nice, she asked Sarah what she should do, she had her delete my items! Then tells me shes only limiting 5! I had ten, their was no sign of any limit! Its not essential items that are listed! She went and saw for herself, that they were .99 cents..false advertising at its finest! I told her other people were buying way more than 5! She was rude never made eye contact, just ignored me, when I asked for their corporate number! Then her just as rude manager Jeri didnt even know their corporate number???? Then rudely googled it! Very unprofessional! Ive shopped here every week, these two need customer relations skills! Called corporate, they said their not even supposed to put stuff out with out pricing correctly! To add insult to injury, they didnt even put the 5 back in the bag! Just 3, I called her when I got home, of course no knowledge of that, and they mysteriously disappeared! They were in the go backs! Never shopping here again!

Very clean, organized, friendly customer service

I bought a pair of headphones at this place I went to take the headphones back the very next day because they didnt work, I told them they didnt work and the rest of them didnt work either, they wouldnt give me my money back, they wanted to give me a gift card so I can come back to the store and continue spending my money in there store instead of allowing me to make the choice with my own money so i could buy a set some place else. I told them this was unacceptable, and if theyre going to sell defective products that means there deceiving the public and I would take my complaint to the attorney generals office and let them know exactly how theyre operating.

I love this store ! Im on a fixed income and it helps me be able to eat good fruit and veggies in my daily diet . GREAT variety also

99 has a diverse selection of small size produce that is discount priced. I believe that people here are happier than any other grocery store. A common line, Please go ahead. You have only a few items.. A rare line at Costco or Walmart.

They have lots more merchandise since they started selling items for $1.99 & $2.99. They have been keeping the Yucca Valley store stocked and clean. Great for seasonal stuff and for a shopping spree fix.

Everyone in the store is awesome, polite, nice, kind, and courteous. But people from local restaurants and other shopping places come in there and they buy bulk food items, and what are you supposed to do as a small customer. I was in the 99cents only store in yuca valley.i was trying to get mangoes and there was a guy with a shopping cart with all the fresh mangoes piled in his cart as well as 3 cases of all the frozen mangoes from the freezer, This is not Costco for restaurants, its for families trying to make it.

We are traveling from MI and were not looking forward to cali prices. This store is amazing and will save our wallet while we are here. Prices were unbelievable. Friendly staff too. Well be back

If youre a minority and want to experience prejudice, then this definitely is the place. I stopped here on my way to Laughlin, not only are the townspeople looking at you like you dont belong, mind you, Im a lighter Latina, but the cashier was very unpleasant as well. This girl gave no greeting, when I asked her a question she gave me attitude and put on a stank face, did not ask if I needed bags, just left my items piled there until a little lightbulb turned on that I wasnt gonna bag them myself. Tryed to jam all of my 30 items in 3 bags, some where in boxes, when she was done she turned and ignored me.When I drove off I realized she did not give me my receipt, I wish I had her name, she was a young caucasian portly girl in the 2nd cashier today at 6:30pm. Horrible service
