Pretty good inventory of home improvement needs. Sometimes I have to visit another location to get what I need. (Only reason I did not give 5 stars) New store manager was awesome to the city of Zachary during hurricane Ida in letting the community know what the store had in stock or on the way.

We always have a good experience here. Always get help when needed. We have never had any problems with anything.

Staff is nice. Review is for paying 100+ for lumber cuts and them being cut at the wrong dimensions or not even the same lengths… which means 100$ of useless lumber lying around.

Absolutely the worst Home Depot I gave ever been in. I am a traveling handyman and been in many different stores in many different states. This store, by far, has the worst stock, everything is missing or in the wrong place. The items on the shelves are thrown everywhere. The service is poor at best. I will be taking the extra 15mins to go to Baton Rouge instead. Dont waste your time here.

It was an okay experience today, the most disappointing part, I saw a gentleman in the idle I said good morning and you tell me where a certain item was, he said can I help you no good morning, if I say gm and ask for assistance can you help me or how can you help me, the work for today we need them or do we need each other

The materials I needed were a little hard to find but an associate helped me with my purchase. Friendly,knowledgeable and very helpful. I will go back.

BEWARE! They dont actually do curbside pickup for lumber and I had to learn that the hard way. I ordered some plywood and 2 x6 for curbside pickup at 9am around 2 oclock I called to find out what the holdup was took me 20 minutes to get someone on the line, they explained that they dont do curbside pickup for lumber because they have nowhere to put it and they wait til the customer Arrives which is fine but they sent me a email Please wait for notification before heading to the store and also Were on it! Well let you know when your order is ready for pickup!

Was exceptionally clean with little to zero stop on the sales floor. Very surprised with the swiftness and amount of time I was able to save without needing to dodge pallets or general discarded boxes you know the ones Im talking about the kind that seem too cluttered every single Walmart in the Baton Rouge area? Well give this particular big box retail Giant two thumbs up and 5 out of 5 stars because I do not work for them but for some reason I was amazed at condition the store was in. Excellent the manager should be happy. Hell even all the self-checkout kiosk were in operation and actually functioned with 0 negative opportunities shower say? Because there are no problems theres only opportunities isnt that right how about this lets kiss keep it simple stupid yay sales 101! Congratulations to this particular storm theyre all sarcasm aside.

Last minute I needed a 12’ 2x4. jumped in my truck and forgot my straps. I asked the lady checking me out if they had any tie down twine. We walked to to the cart that usually held the twine and it didn’t have any. She had to leave to check out otherCustomers but pointed out three people sitting in chairs and talking saying they could help me. I walked up and asked them if they had any tiedown twine because there was none on the cart. Without getting out of his chair a guy told me if there’s none on that card we don’t have any but we will get some next week. They never even attempted to help. Are usually have great assistance when looking for anything but these people didn’t bother to help at all

Just picking up an online order. The curbside pickup is very convenient and fast. My order was brought out and put into my truck by a very professional and friendly HD staff member. For items I know exactly what I want this the the only way to go.

The Zachary Home Depot was so well cleaned, spacious, lots of locations that had hand sanitizer that could be used. The staff were amazing. Very knowledgeable. I truly felt like a valued customer.

I love the home depot in general. They usually have what I need in stock, and their return policy is great. However the staff in all the stores in and around Baton Rouge is generally not knowledgeable nor helpful. They are loud and rude and not ready to help. They seem tired and put out by any question you ask. And if you actually need a large or hard to find item, plan to wait at least an hour before you get help. This is a problem with service employees in BR in general, so I cant complain too badly.

Seems like alot of what I needed was out of stock or damaged. One of the mirror sizes that I needed werent here and the size that they did have was already broken. There were several boxes of broken bathroom mirrors on the shelf. The 3 inch star head decking screws were a little low as well.

No 4 cycle oil for generators shortly after a hurricane pretty much did it for me.

This home depot location requires some patience. If youre in a hurry, then skip this location. The people are very polite but maybe needing some training in home depot operations and systems. Seems this is causing the delays.

Lots of help walking around you just have to ask. Bought flowers to replace the ones we lost in the freeze. Lots of vegetable garden plants are out on this 5th day of March.

They usually have almost everything Im looking for.Ive sometimes stopped at Lowes, but Home Depot appeals to me much more somehow.

Never dealing with this home depot again. Spent $1500 for a box only to be told that my 3 piece box only came with 2 then was told by the guy who went and pulled it from the back that this all ur gonna get like really is this how you talk to customers so rude. He already had a attitude to begin with. I know what I purchased and shouldnt be treated like that just because you dont want to do your job. Then finally somebody with some patience and sense found my other box.

The servive could be better.They have so many appliances on display that arent available for weeks. Even several of the same model they have on sale but monthw out on availability. Its like ordering from a catalog, only slower.

Every single time I go in there the redheaded man with all the freckles covering his body follows me around its very uncomfortable and then honestly makes me feel some type of way.then I had a problem in the parking lot I kept yelling for him he ignored me then when he finally showed me that he saw that I was yelling for him he told me no he is not coming out in the parking lot 😠 and I had my two-year-old needless to say I rate this a one-star and I will never be back

Do not shop at Home Depot! I just spoke with the manager in the Zachary, LA location and told him many customers are not masks and several of his employees had them around their chins. He said that because of Hippa they couldnt ask a customer to put on a mask. I am an attorney with a healthcare background- believe me, Hipaa doesnt apply. He got into an argument with me about Hipaa law. I am finished with Home Depot. For your own safety, stay away! Tom Wimberley are you listening??

It was a lot of people walking around with Home Depot aprons on. No one offered to help me with the 4×4 8ft. that I was purchasing. Also after waiting more than 5 minutes, looking at all the employees standing in the back of store. Just to get going I and my passager had to load them. I had asked the cashier for help with them.

Have a question or not sure what you need to fix a leaking toilet. Hope you have time to wait. You might get help faster asking your fellow customer. With any luck they might know just what you need to get to make the repairs, etc.

This use to be a very good store but apparently covid has not only messed up the economy but also peoples labor skills and effort to help one another. We went to this specific store and asked the customer service ladies if they could get someone to help get some sheetrock down because the couple pieces of the specific sheetrock we wanted were busted. They hurried up and said oh i dont think we have that. Well then my husband said look right behind you. Then they proceeded to finally call someone to come help. Well that never happened. We waiting 30 minutes and no one ever came and that is after i called the store, while in the store because of the lack of employees apparently, to speak with the manager whom did not answer. So we left.Customer service comes a long way.

Hard to find certain things and not enough staff to help. But if you can find it they usually have whhat you need or something you can improvise with. Prices are reasonable on most things and I get a milatry discount that I appreciate.

Home Depot in Zachary is a good store to find just about any of your Home, Garden, and Outdoor Living Space Products. If they dont have the item, theres plenty of tools, lumber, and other materials to begin your own DIY Project!!

Bad experience. Not anything marked correctly in the treated lumber section. I asked gor help to locate what I was looking for because the bins were all marked the same on the cards He replied that all one side was bin one and the other side was, then walked away. Lazy worker, acted like I was bothering him. Evidently I was because he was ourside smoking a cigarette when I walked out. Only reason i rate 1 star, because it would not let me post with no star

My husbands favorite store. We always walk out with way more than we went in for. Love the Milwaukee line you guys carry. Great products and always a great deal!

Home depot has lots of stuff but good luck getting help. We wound up leaving and going to another lumber store to get what we needed because we couldnt get someone to help us with cutting down a long piece of wood we needed.

Its a Home Depot. But their inventory control is poor in the departments that require ordering small pieces, nuts and bolts, pipe and electrical fittings heating ducts.
