I requested a refill on Monday and stopped by on Saturday to pick it up. I was asked to come back 15 minutes later as it wasn’t ready. I asked why as it had been 6 days since I entered the refill request and the reply was, “I don’t know. We are very backed up.” No apology, no nothing. Unacceptable to not have a refill ready after 6 days. This is the second time this has happened after starting to use this pharmacy a mere few weeks ago. I’ll be moving my business elsewhere. Very disappointing experience; both customer service wise and given this being a national chain with all resources at their disposal to deliver the best patient experience possible.
The worst experience I’ve ever had in any store. One of the members on the management team was having to work in the pharmacy checking people out because they were short staffed and when I went to pick up my medicine she told me it wasn’t ready and just stared at me so I asked if she could ask the pharmacist when it be ready and she started screaming at me and got so nasty. I have never experienced such unprofessional and disgusting customer service from anywhere. One of the pharmacy techs kept asking everyone in the drive through if they’ve eaten today because she hadn’t eaten all day. I understand that they were short staffed and frustrated but don’t take it out on the customers that trust your pharmacy to handle something as important as their medications. I will never use this pharmacy again after being treated so poorly by their management team member. Do yourself a favor and use a different pharmacy. This place has really gone downhill
Got on their website to make an appointment for a covid testand nowhere did it say that they were unavailable to do so. Made the hour drive to find out that due to a shortage of staff they cant do any tests and they have no over-the-counter ones.
Sat at the drive through for over an hour while the people just stood there and didn’t come to the window
The pharmacy side of this store SUCKS. everytime I come here to get a prescription filled, I have to return hours later 2 or 3 times before they start filling the order. Just so that everyone knows, the store side is awesome, BUT THE PHARMACY SIDE WILL JUST PISS YOU OFF.
I quit using this pharmacy because of the incredibly rude pharmacist and staff but my physicians office mistakenly called in a script there. Nothing has changed to make them any better. Scripts are never ready when they are supposed to be and don’t even think about telling them you’ll wait for it lest you get the “eye roll”. If you do insist on waiting, be prepared for at least an hour and they will...not...EVER...call you when it’s done.
Centrally located in a safe area. Helpful and friendly employees.
Terrible customer service and based on the reviews and everyone I talk to its been this way for a long time. Sad to see a large company like CVS have such a lack of training, consistency, and kindness. I called to speak with a manager to let them know about my experiences. An employee answers with Hello?. No company branding or kind tone. I asked to speak with a manager and have been on hold for 12 min as I am writing this review. I understand its not a call center where a manager is ready to take calls but this seems excessive. Is this how CVS treats its customers? Sure would like to see a response from the management or maybe the company its self. CVS you continue to fall short is the basics of customer satisfaction and retail. What exactly is the company goal? Just spoke to a manger who said, aw sorry. I asked if training takes place for basic customer service skills. Her response, yeah there is training. I asked for a bit more since training should take over a year and its been well over a year with people being displeased with this store. I was told I am trying to argue with her and she is going to leave the call. 15 minutes to be treated the same way any other staff member. Dismissive and bothered. Great staff you have their CVS!! Keep up the s@#% work!
If I could give zero stars I would. I stood at the “drop off” counter for 20 minutes waiting on someone to assist me. I see other people that came in after me being assisted at the “pick up” counter. I get in line over there only to be told that I have to go back to the “drop off” counter. For what? I told the tech that they need a bell over there. Then I have to wait 30 minutes to an hour to get the prescription filled! Can I get 20 minutes time served while waiting at the counter? I took my prescription and left.
Told them multiple times to put my prescription on automatic refill, every single person I asked said it was done and every month I call in to ask if my prescription is ready. Every single time “oh it’s ready today” no matter how much time I give them. Then they offer for it to be ready at 11, and everytime I show up at 11:15, I see them running to the back to put it together. Someone needs to write me a prescription for a chill pill before I revisit this place, but knowing them, it probably won’t be ready for me when I show up.
I had to switch to CVS because of my insurance. Ive been twice to get refills and both times its been a hassle. Whats the point of approving a refill over the phone if its not going to be ready when promised. I got here only to have to wait another 20 min.I may change locations to see if the service is better.
Went to Lake After Hours in Zachary after work, they prescribed me some pain medicine for my illness. Had them send to CVS so I could go straight there, since and the pharmacy that is in Saint Francisville, where I live will be closed by the time I get there. I get there and the lady said it would be about 1.5 to 2.5 hours before they would fill it and I said I can’t wait that long which was fine I would pick up the next day. So next day, mind you I work and live in Saint Francisville I went to pick up my prescription at 12 on my lunch break and would you know still not filled. At this point I just had them transfer my prescription to my home town. Point being if you can’t fill a doctor’s prescription at least by the next day then what is the point for a doctor sending it to them. Also by the time I got back to the pharmacy in Saint Francisville (Elliot’s) and they had my prescription waiting on me. Kind of pathetic when a small town pharmacy is more on a ball then CVS
Pharmacy customer service has transitioned to horrible. When they first opened they were one of the best. I need to find a new pharmacy. Extremely disappointed.
Terrible customer service!!! Sat over 30 mins. In drive thru waiting for cough syrup that was suppose to be ready for pickup, they took care of 5 cars while I sat there waiting for my expedited order!!! Last prescription they will be filling for me. Spoke to the manager --no help!! Disgusting!!
Terrible pharmacy!!! Never have meds in stock. My 10 month olds eye drops that was ordered and suppose to be in conveniently wasn’t included in the order. SO NOW he has to go another day without them. 😡🤬 Oh and always long lines. Never enough workers.
Doctors office sent meds over 24 hours ago. My order is still not ready. I would understand if it were day off but 24 hours later is unacceptable. Pharmacist was rude about it too me and the lady in front of me and only 1 other employee was on staff. Manager no where in sight but I was assured he was there. Sad that WM is probably quicker than cvs today. Going back to wal-greens for late pick ups.
Every time I use their drive thru it takes 20 to 30 minutes and they never have prescription ready. Today they told me 10:00. I show up at 10:30 and they tell me it will be another 30 minutes. CVS Zachary is the worst experience of a drug store for prescription!
Rude, slow and always out of popular meds. Also, meds that are not under insurance are 5-8 times the cost of anywhere else. Will never step foot in a CVS again.
Pharmacy never has prescriptions ready that have been called in. Always a long wait!
Treated me well.
Very rude very slow and dont care that people who are waiting are very sick.
Dropped off a prescription on Thursday, waiting for 20 minutes, was told it would take about 20 minutes, so I told them I would just pick it up on Friday. Something unexpected came up on Friday so I wasnt able to return until Tuesday. When I arrived I was told it would be another 30 minute wait before they could have it filled. Thats pretty ridiculous.
The pharmacy tech was very rude and was not helpful at all.
Alawsys good
