The meat prices are too expensive just for a cook out I got the most cheap meat possible they had.I was charged 79$.The guacamole didnt taste that good we didnt finish it it cost 8$ the salsa was not good either I am a big salsa fan.The pico de gallo was alright.Cooks please make the salsa tastier .The avocados where 3 dollars each but none of them where good most are rotten and small size for that price so I didnt buy any.It smells bad upon entering.I am not from This area.The michoacana in Mcallen is not like this.The restroom out of service. I wonder where the employees go though. Anyways they can do better this place has potential but need to be managed better. The meat is rotting because it costs 13$ a pound.Maybe do a cookout package, that people actually feel like its a good deal,like other stores do.Good luck michoacana.

Conveniently located in downtown harlingen. The front parking is too tight so try the parking on the back is so much better. The food is good and the meat market is one of the best in town.

First time at this location and it was very disappointing. We ordered a taco and the food stunk really bad and it looked raw. We advised the lady and asked her to just give us something else but she replied rudely and loudly no . She said she was the cook and nothing was wrong with it. I asked her to taste the food but she was just bold, rude and intimidating.

I freaking stinks like rotten meat !But, they cashed my check...so theres that.I go there a lot to cash my checks, on day two ladies were in the both. I tried converting with them; both said they dont understand english.Thats why its hard for anglos gain employment because they want you to be bilingual.And, as I was standing in line and saw the prices of items, they are higher than HEB and Walmart.

Excellent service from meat market employee. Eventhough I was not buying meat, was looking for an item the youngman came to help me find item I needed.

We had breakfast at the market today. Two breakfast tacos and beans was bit more than we should have ordered, but it was wonderful. The salsa choice is excellent. The coffee is also exceptional. These people should be getting a five star, but I could only give four because its a meat market, not a restaurant. Maybe you will give them five stars.

Most horrible place to purchase items!!! I bought a tortilla presser and used it the same day I bought it and it broke!!! Came to the store to return or exchange and the manager said they were not allowed to take returns!! After she touched the merchandise and all and then she tells me that due to COVID -19 she cannot take returns or make exchanges because I had already had the merchandise at home and she doesn’t know who touched it and it was as per policy!! I did mention to her that she touched it and her co-worker touched it as well!! I asked for owner or for her to call owner and she said she was not going to call owner because they were in Houston!!

Do NOT go here to cash checks! I went to cash a $500 check, but they told me it was a $10 fee to cash it so I told them never mind that I do not want to cash it, so I told them to cancel it. I left to HEB to try and cash it and I was told that the check had already been cashed, so then I went to Walmart and they told me the same thing. I went back to La Michoacana to get my money and they try telling me that they are already closed and I told they lady that they had already cashed my check and that I just want my money! So they tell me to wait and they take the money out from underneath the inside of the cash register. The ladies were trying to steal my money and are very sketchy, I do not trust this place and you shouldn’t either. Never going to that place ever again! 0 stars.
